that is the best thing I've seen in Lego from in my entire life! Ok the quality wasn't stellar, but its TopGear! and Lego! and Awesome! (sorry very excited by that little video)

Brickset did a decent review of this set and included a handful of pictures showing the area you are working on. maybe take a look and see if there is something a bit different. from what I've seen of the new Ford GT there is no way to get the rear completely correct with the Lego fenders we currently have, there is a gap starting behind the doors that carves all the way out the middle of the rear. that said however, I think this would be a good car to attempt to build myself

is there a number stamped on the inside of it anywhere? or LEGO (its extremely rare for them to NOT place the name somewhere)

if you are going to go with it on stand, there is 1 dimension you will still need (added to above list also) and that's:depth on stand (from guns, to back of ship) 13.5 inch (35cm) I personally would go with a square case big enough to fit wing to wing in any direction and approx 50cm tall.

every single on screen moment the Engine color is orange-yellow, and every single set leading up to the UCS has also been orange..... and then the UCS came out with blue.... the ONLY possible reason for the change (apart from them screwing up) is that in EP VII Boba returns and the color changes due to some mod he did after surviving the pit (or perhaps some one took his place, Dread Pirate Roberts style! )

great build, the building is just brilliant, and elegant, its such a simple technique but the effect is stunning. the story, had me confused at times though, (a barrier of language perhaps?) your dialog with yourself repeatedly thought "it can't be clearer" yet the things that can't be clearer were in opposites of each other. so clearly you can, and can't but will and wont do what you need to not do, did I get that right? and in stark contrast to the indecision was the very clear heart of your character and his passion for what he believes in. back on the build I can't help but wonder what the giant hand holding the platform (the one the cannon is on) is about, there isn't a reference to it in the story but its design calls to me as something of importance, symbolic perhaps? holding life and death in ones own hand? or was it merely the extension of some snow covered great statue?

asked a few pages ago decided to compile all the numbers for people's referance75060 Slave I: Dimensions Height on stand: 17.5” (45cm) Height on ground: Including guns: 8.00” (20cm) Not including guns 7.25” (18cm) Width (wing to wing) 15.0” (38cm) Length on ground: 17.5” (45cm) ADDED: depth on stand (from guns, to back of ship) 13.5 inch (35cm) Interestingly it is virtually the same height on the stand as it is long on the ground.

I'ts my guess that the grey on it is to help represent that these troopers have stealth capabilities (certain parts of the armor glow blue before vanishing and then return to black when out of stealth)

Well I don't own the set the size and some quick math suggest it will not fit, its 20 inches wide (8 inches more than you have available) that would mean the base it sits on could be no larger than 4 inches wide (2 inches per side of ship), this I find highly unlikely. a 15inch shelf would be much more likely to do the job, (base could then be up to 10 inches wide and still be fully on the shelf)

I've seen no comment (so I assume they haven't) I did check my sticker sheet which sadly still reads "tracor"

it measures a bit over 7 inches tall (18cm) in "guns down" (parallel to ground when landed)

well, in still speculating on what if any TFU sets Lego could do (assuming Rebels does indeed combine the 2 stories) there is: Stern's Walker a modified AT-ST Raxus Prime junk Skiff the Nemisis Class gunship in TFU-2 an Imperial dropship Bail Organa's Shuttle Ugnaught Walker (small 2 pilot cargo lifter) the Empirical(though this one is probably far to large to see as a set even if it was 100% canon) and as was said above we know very little of the back story for the Rebels so far. if Disney is smart they will use Galen Marek as part of the Rebels line, not his physical character but at least reference what he did to start the Rebellion as it is now. clearly they re-stylized the rebel emblem and that is Galen's Family crest. (so it is after the events of TFU, but possibly before TFU-2) Proxy, Juno, and Rhom Kotta could still be brought back to aid the fight.

You're thinking of Kazdan Paratus, and though he was crazy, he was probably the most memorable character behind Maris Brood (and Galen of course) I'm a huge fan of TFU (first one second was a little to bizarre) and i for one am really hoping that Rebels brings it back to life.

sweet! Sabine gets the small blasters! i haven't gotten any of those in black yet (just bley) so those are an added bonus, and i agree, i can do without the helm (so long as we get it eventually) the hair piece does look good.
