Not yet. :( We are preparing the KS for introducing the SBrick Plus. I will post here when we have news about it. What do you mean with the "soft start/stop" feature? Can you explain it?- 771 replies

Yes, Nice find! If the joypad has programmable firmware it does not matter that you modify the sbrick's fw or the joypad's fw if you want to use it directly. I've seen Imurvai already had an app for SBrick which using the android's gamepad api to controll SBrick, so He already has a working POC for it.- 771 replies

Actually we can support joysticks in two way. If the joy has BLE 4.0, and we can decode the communication protocol, then we have a chance to create a custom firmware for the SBrick. With this the SBrick can directly communicate with the joypad. The second solution is that we use the mobile/tablet as a gateway. It will have measurable latency but better compatibility, for example you can use wifi joypads too. Anyway if somebody know a BLE joypad let me know! :) For example this may work directly: https://www.amazon.com/Newgame-Wireless-Bluetooth-Controller-Smartphone/dp/B016KXV0AE They are not shipping to Hungary. :( I searching another reseller for it.- 771 replies

We are working on the bt controller support. It will work with the SBrick. What type of controller that you have or planning to use with SBrick? I want to test with it :) It was interesting to see that BuWizz not collected too much supporter with the integrated battery. I think integrated battery is a cool (but not necessary) feature because you can free up some space with it. SBrick Plus is something different, not exactly targeted on the same usage pattern that SBrick or BuWizz.- 771 replies

Dear LXF, The SBrick now can handle up to 11V and 3A/port. So the "ludicrous mode" already exist if you have an SBrick. If you want higher voltage than lego standard there is two way for that. 1. you can disable the limit in the LEGO standard battery box (you need to disassemble it to remove the limit) and you can use high voltage batteries with it. 2. you can use custom LIPO battery. It needs some hack too.- 771 replies

Dear Lucio, Please retry the OTA update. If the app says that is is done, please kill the app, restart the bluetooth then start the app again. We are not experiencing OTA problems with iOS devices. If the problem still exist please write as at info@sbrick.com then we debug the problem together. Yes, of course, you can use the new product (SBrick Plus) together with the SBrick at the same time.- 771 replies

Dear Agrof, Thanks for your reply. I think your idea is pretty cool. We already have hw joy support in our todo list. It means we support hw joystick from the APP, so the phone act as a gateway between the SBrick and the joy. Your idea can be better because it reduce the latency. Maybe we can create custom firmware for SBrick to handle some hw gamepad directly, but we needs some time to check it out. Btw what kind of joy do you prefer? Of course the joy needs to be Bluetooth 4.0 compatible to use it with SBrick directly.- 771 replies

Hi Guys! I have seen you have problems with your SBricks. The hardware just done, but we have a lot of known bugs and suggestions for features for the app and the SBrick's firmware... We need your bug reports/feature requests to make the application and the SBrick firmware better. Please write your bug reports and suggestions here: https://social.sbrick.com/forums Thank you and happy holidays!- 771 replies

Good news for android phone owners without BLE support: we're working on a solution for you. If you have an Android device that runs at least 3.1, you will be able to control an SBrick with BlueGiga's BLED112 dongle, connected to the phone with an "On The Go" or "OTG" cable. NO rooting will be necessary. We plan to roll out this feature in Q1 2015, hang on tight. See the forum for details: https://social.sbrick.com/forums/topic/18/sbrick-support-for-android-phones-without-ble/view/post_id/114 We're looking forward to your comments and suggestions.- 771 replies

We will publish an opensource client for it. Now, we are focusing on software development on the mobile/phone apps and the profile designer service. We can support hw joystick from the APP. So probably any joy will work which can pairable with the mobile OS.- 771 replies

Hi, No, there is no automatic discovery and profile generation, but you will easily create your own remote controller via the profile designer feature. We would include some "factory default" remote control profiles to handle 1,2,3 SBrick in a general way. As you seen on the tester videos there is no limitation on the user interface design. Our next video will be a 42025, full motorized + extra leds on it.- 771 replies

We love the stair-top design because you can build around three sides of it. Check Sariel's video about it. Currently this is the design what we have showed on our videos, this is what we sent to our testers. I will post pictures about our design ideas. Maybe you can post pictures also of your ideas.. :) If you have some idea (and design draft picture) please post here: https://social.sbrick.com/forums/topic/3/physical-design-ideas- 771 replies

The first stretch goal we would like to reach is at 100.000 GBP. Of we reach this limit, the stair top design of the SBrick will go into production. Over the last month we had heated debates within our team and got to the conclusion, that we will manufacture the stair top design even if we do not reach the first stretch goal. We got to this conclusion because it is simply much better to build with. There are financial implications, we might have to apply for external financing in order to have the funds for this more expansive design, but we believe in delivering the best to you even if we have to take higher risks. Thank you and please help us get closer to the 100.000 stretch (funding) goal.- 771 replies
