Are any QMs thinking of having more Deadly Venoms as drops someday? I'm dreaming of having my two throwing decks someday be jewel-bedazzled, adamantium-edged, and dripping venom, which is why I'm so interested... How high is "higher"?

Heroica RPG- Quest #103: Alfendi Lupine Strikes Again!
Lind Whisperer replied to Kintobor's topic in The Heroica Archive
I'm assuming that I should attack McCoy, because his Special has him damage the hero equal to their level...which in my case would be for 1 damage . And his Passive Special is that his level is equal to the attacking hero...which would also be 1. Did I get that right, or did I make a mistake?- 500 replies

Heroica RPG- Quest #103: Alfendi Lupine Strikes Again!
Lind Whisperer replied to Kintobor's topic in The Heroica Archive
Out of nowhere, a pink* flash of light sparkles, and Lind's already somewhat weighty Bag of Hoarding gains another few ounces**, as a shiny Anniversary Medal drops into it. "Master Hoke, as I'm already wearing your Medal of Glory, would you care to wear my Anniversary Medal?" Ooc: Does handing an artifact in battle to someone else cost a turn for either/both of the parties involved? **I know that the Grogmas Z-Mail invitations were on pink slips(I think...) and I attributed the same color to the delivery system... *Also, was an official Heroica or regional standard of weights and measures ever made?- 500 replies

LEGO in Film & TV: Index of Appearances
Lind Whisperer replied to Izzy's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I was actually just going to mention this. There's a bit of an error in that scene(unintentionally). I don't watch that show generally, so I can't give an exact date as to when the episode first aired, but it was one of the first seasons. The error? The box is up on the shelf like it was 'outgrown'. Which is understandable...except that they left it in the original plastic box. A unique, light blue with trans-blue lid that, depending on when it was released, had either literally just been released, or had been released a year prior to the airing. Either way, that kid outgrew those fast. -
Just wait 14 more quests. My planned secondary character will be swabbing the decks with the mobs. A joke that will make a lot more sense when I actually post her... I don't suppose you'd be interested in for more than 500?That venom would go wonderfully with my Darker Ethereal Deck - the more so since I plan to still be using it at 50...

Awesome! Anniversary Medal (Power +3, SP +3, Max. Health +3, Max. Ether +3. The values will increase by 1 with each passing year; accessory.) Many, many thanks to Sandy for the lottery, and congratulations/consolations to everyone else who played!

Lind attacks Fish-Faced McCoy from the back row with his Darker Ethereal Deck. "Let's see if you can sink your teeth into this!" Ooc: I'm going to follow it up with my Ethereal Deck, and then retrieve.- 500 replies

From a long usage of Brickset, I believe that The Guardian may lean a bit towards the side of 'tabloid-that-people-know-is-a-tabloid'. I'd try to give an American equivalent, but I'd have a bit of trouble - mostly because I don't follow tabloids Actually, if you a while ago on Ole's life story, successful isn't exactly the word you might use at first, seeing as how there were times when he was literally trading toys for food for his kids. But, he kept on fighting, and he actually became one of the few cases where someone just wouldn't give up their dreams till they won.

Exact same thing I was thinking - good work, Bacon! I think we're waiting on Flipz to post his action...

If we need one shield recolored four times, I could do that and post it here. My own thought is that it might look better if it was a generic knight holding a shield(which is colored differently for each picture), instead of merely a shield.

That'll work great - sort of 'leveling up' as it were*. *It all will make sense in context, someday...

I would like to go cleric with mine*...except that clerics don't use elemental powers like mages do, and that would kind of take away from the drama. Or melodrama... Two questions: Can a Beast Warrior transform into a gryphon? And, is there any chance that Scythes will ever be available to mages? I understand that they are "heavier" weapons, and all, but I was just wondering... *I like to plan things out a very long time in advance.

Lind, not wanting to be left out of any loot, spends his first turn hurrying downstairs to the Foyer*. *Capt.JohnPaul makes a good point - I'll go one turn at a time as well, and suggest that we all post our movements accordingly.- 500 replies

"From the rather obvious noises they so courteously made, I do believe we should hurry to the foyer. Although the Trophy Room is an obvious target, we should make all haste to first group up, as otherwise their numbers may prevail over us."- 500 replies

Heroica RPG- Quest #103: Alfendi Lupine Strikes Again!
Lind Whisperer replied to Kintobor's topic in The Heroica Archive
QM: I think I'm good, except for one general question - do we need to 'clear out' every room in the house, or will enemies come to us? Other Heroes: I think that we should(Ooc, it wouldn't make sense Ic,) decide our routes through the house, since we need to make it to the cellar by 35. If enemies come to us, it shouldn't be a problem, but if we have to clear rooms, we should plan our route out carefully, just to be safe.- 500 replies

Should LEGO cut ties with Shell?
Lind Whisperer replied to legoman19892's topic in General LEGO Discussion
You got to love how no one seems to have told Greenpeace(or 'certain other parties'), that if a polar bear is floating off on an ice-berg, it's probably so that he* can take some time off from the wife and kids. Seeing as how polar bears can swim up to 62 miles, and all. But, you can't really blame them - you just can't get the same effect by saying "Polar bears might have to take a few extra laps than normal to reach their new ice floe"...** *Or she. **This is the end of that thought. Any comments should be within the boundaries of the end of that thought.- 214 replies

Well done! I especially like your Alien Moon Stalker - good work! Any chance we might get an LDD of that?

Heroica RPG- Quest #103: Alfendi Lupine Strikes Again!
Lind Whisperer replied to Kintobor's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Eh...I'm a human... No, I was unable to find anything of significant value. Except for a pillowcase of jewelry. No sets or anything of real value, though(although I am still trying to see if there's a Gold Ring anywhere among all of it). I'm not entirely certain as to how we should position ourselves. Together, we may miss an entry into the house, apart, we are weak. I suggest that we pair up in teams of two, and stand guard in whatever locations afford the best sight of the area." Ooc: Munchkin is a term for his people group, not his race. It means, effectively, "Child of Muncie," their original village*(Insert long backstory). *Not to be confused with Munci, Indiana.- 500 replies

Is Mr. Sanders supposed to be a púca?
-
I just realized that, in the complete absence of a Good-Evil scale system, a person could technically play a lovable kleptomaniac rogue without any negative effects. Not that Lind would ever dream of such a thing, but the possibilities for someone trying to eh, 'Munchkin' such a system are...quite literally almost unimaginable... Not that I would play Lind that way. Not at all. Furthest thing from my mind...

Heroica RPG- Quest #103: Alfendi Lupine Strikes Again!
Lind Whisperer replied to Kintobor's topic in The Heroica Archive
Lind quickly searches through the jewelry one last time for anything that might be interesting, such as a Gold Ring (Worth 15 gold; can be given to someone to make them enamored with the giver). He then carefully takes the pillowcase off the pillow, fills it with the jewelry, and carefully places it in his inventory* for safekeeping. Temporarily. He walks out into the upstairs common area. "I did say that we should have kept the dog with us..." (*Hey, I did say I was playing a Munchkin.) I would like to take this moment to remind everyone that I'd almost gotten the poor doggie to join us as an NPC...- 500 replies

That might be the perfect spot then - like I said, I only need about a half-mile to a mile of forest tops - and I could shrink the required amount even more if I only need an entrance to an underground forest.
