Hi everyone! I have been a member on these forums for around 10 years now, but have mostly been viewing the forums, so haven't posted any creations of my own until this one. Just wanted to start off by saying hi and briefly introducing myself. My name is Daniel, I'm also known as CommanderR here on Eurobricks and PieceOnEarth over on LEGO Ideas. I am currently studying engineering at university and I'm also a musician and Lego fan. Fusing my two passions of music and Lego together, I had this idea of building a Lego orchestra! A few weeks ago, I finished the model design (using LDD) and I am happy to share it here with you all! Welcome to the Symphony Orchestra! My focus was designing a model that I believe would fit will with the normal Lego set scale. With that in mind, I knew I needed to skim down a 60-instrument orchestra to around 15-20 minifigures. I tried to add as many details as possible, resulting in some printing for the sheet music. Can you guess what song they are playing? One of my visions for the model was that it would have the ability to be customized easily to suit the purpose of any show. The orchestra needs a place to store their instruments, warm up and relax. Welcome backstage! I love classical music and wanted to decorate the lounge room with some paintings, so those of Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven seemed like a perfect fit! This lounge is where the musicians can relax and grab a refreshing drink. Here are a couple more photos of the backstage, instruments, and overall model: I also have recently added the Symphony Orchestra on Lego Ideas. So, if you like it, please head on over there (link below) and give it your support. That would be really appreciated! https://ideas.lego.com/projects/746f241a-3425-4104-8cde-c90b5e66b9bc Thank you for viewing! I hope you have enjoyed it. Let me know what you think

This theme is looking really good! The minifigures are absolutely great with their colors, insignias, and their space-knight combination. Being a huge Rascus fan back in the KKII days, I like what they did making Aaron (the green guy) the jokester of the knights. It brings back a little bit of nostalgia for me personally :) My only critique of the theme is its overuse of the blue/red color scheme of the actual sets, I wish they made the knights vehicles more relative to their own color scheme (similar to ninjago). Besides that, the sets look great and I look forward to getting some!

I am really liking the Mirkwood Spiders set. Even though it is a little more expensive than I expected, the great minifigures and special pieces really make up for it. Also, I love Bifur's hair/beard piece. Amazing detail!

You actually get 4 Uruks in the Uruk-hai Army set.
-
I'm glad to see the base of helms deep is brick built.
-
I agree. As much as I love the fellowship, the Rohan minifigs are the ones I am looking forward to the most.
-
The Uruk-hai looks amazing . I love the new shield.
-
I agree with you totally, this would also allow them to incorporate both the uruk-hai and orks (or maybe even a few of the haradrim).

I think if LEGO made battle packs for LOTR, it would be similar to the star wars BP where they would have goodies vs. baddies in one pack. This would allow them to make both a Rohan and Gondor battle pack in one wave.

Sorry this is really late, but thanks Jebediahs for the amazing little knight dudes. They are great!

Oh, didn't see that. I thought any new news of the black pearl would've been posted on this thread. -

But from what I know there is going to be a 5th and 6th movie, back to back. -
Guess your right. I guess I was kinda being a hypocrite. Anyway, I really like that new face (I think it's new) of the mounted dragon knight in 7187. Do you think it may be a dubble face head? One side the gruff one from the grogall picture...otherside the happy one from the fbtb photo. Tell me what you think.

Is it possable if we could all get back on topic and stop talking about wishlists. I know it's exciting and all, but this form is not to talk about wishlists, but is to talk about the kingdoms sets. If you want to talk kingdoms wishlists...you can go start a form for that. Thanks for understanding. Anyway, I think if there is going to be a third wave; a jousting tournament set would be superb.

That is a great way to put it. I would definitely buy a thin but nice dragon wall for $5. And it's better quality then battlepacks too (not that I want to get on that subject again).
-
Yes, it is confirmed by fbtb here: Escape from Dragon's Prison
-
If you are talking about the Escape from Dragon's Prison set price, it is US $20 and CA $25.

Amazing!!! Love these sets. Nice pearl gates, barding, and pearl visor from the escape from dragon prison set. The mill village looks great too. Blacksmith has some wonderful new pieces. And the carriage is a nice set too with some great prints on the horses.

Elves in this theme would be unlikely since it is not a fantasy theme. The farthest I could see this theme go in fantasy would be a dragon, but thats all. Maybe after this theme there may be some elves.

Or maybe an undead dragon for garmadon?
