  1. Well done! I really like the plants and how the rocks fit in perfectly. But why must the pigs die? They can eat bugs all they want, just don't touch the pigs. Anyway, great MOC.
  2. Excellent! I look forward to doing this.
  3. Ah, yes. My understanding is also that your sigfig doesn't have to be in every freebuild?
  4. But can you have only one "main" character, or several???
  5. I always thought the "greencoats" were rather the more agressive with the natives. I mean, it's everyone's choice to do what in their freebuilds and challenges, so for you, I'd be a good faction for you, I guess (Eslandola being a trading empire), and it is your choice to ally or to fight the natives, as is everyone else's choice.
  6. Perhaps it wouldn't make the best faction, but you can still make Native characters to be in your stories and freebuilds, just not as main character. They can be traders, friends, allies, enemies, etc to your character, and will most likely pop up a lot. I still, however, support it as a faction, if there is any chance of it becoming one.
  7. Aha! I love the ship. Sometimes the least expected can be the most notorious pirates, huh? Now all you need is a pink pirate flag Great job. P.S The Governor will be avenged!
  8. Well, I guess you'd have to have marines in it if it's for a Marine Museum As for the casualties, I see you've changed it, although, according to Wikipedia, and some other historic record sites, (because I don't 100% trust wikipedia, however it is still helpful at times) the Americans suffered around 50 (55 on wikipedia) killed, as well as the rest wounded/missing. Also, I do not think ALL of the officers above Major were killed, although many were, including the supreme commander, Sir Edward Pakenham. And, I am glad to hear you are making a La Haye Sainte MOC. I cannot wait! Also, it said I said what you said in the quote, because I do not know how to copy one part of a quote.
  9. In all fairness, we blew the ammunition supply, killing many of the U.S troops, including General Pike
  10. My most disliked battle in the War of 1812 Good job, though. However, I believe the Americans suffered more than 13 casualties. It was a disgrace for the British forces right before the end of the war, however we still got your White House Also, I do believe most of the men there were actually not dressed like a "bluecoat" but rather Civilians, Militia, Pirates, Freed Slaves, etc. Some where, but not all. Anyway, great job!
  11. For me, as long as we get some type of UCS set that involves the Bluecoats (wether it be a ship, a port/town, or a big fort), I'm in, and I'll get it. And I also really think LEGO needs to put a few more smaller-mid size sets out there, I mean really. A pirate hideout (not treasure island) would be cool, or at least a battlepack.
  12. Thank you. Yes, I do like the rocks. I will try to improve the fort when I can. I hope someday the fort will be able to hold more troops and cannons, etc.
  13. Very nicely done! Poor TIE Pilot I can see a lot of time and detail was put into this.
  14. Collington would defiantly be my vote. If/when this goes through, I know I'm going to be in Collington. Huzzah!
  15. I very much like this. As the Captain said, it does have a very classic feel to it. On the first picture it looks like the islanders are creeping through the bushes, as if waiting to surprise some treasure-hungry pirates. I see you have quite a few parrots. Anyway, good job! Keep building.
  16. I don't really get the point of this poll. What does it matter, really?
  17. Congrats, Kolonial! Er, I think we're getting too many bluecoats into high ranking positions here on Eurobricks I think it's uh time to uh.... *eliminate them* . Anyway, never mind that last sentence Anyway, congratulations! P.S Redcoats will take over someday
  18. It was not a used figure. Honestly, It was an islander, and $10 isn't an awful lot, so I think I got him for a somewhat good deal. Now I have an islander, so i'm happy
  19. I just went to the Fan Expo in Vancouver today because I'm a bit of a Sci-Fi/ Movie fan, etc, and I find a lego stand full of old sets and minifigures. The sets were overpriced, and I saw no PIrates sets, however, when digging in one of the minifigure bins, lone behold is the islander king. I decided to buy it, and it turns out it was $10 CND (about $8-9 US). Did I 1. Get a bad deal (which I think I didn't), 2. Get an "okay" deal, or 3. Get a great deal? I think I got a pretty good deal on this old, fantastic minifigure myself. Also, until today I didn't have an islanders, I now have at least one of all the Pirate sets factions. I'm super happy with my purchase, but what do you guys think? Did I get a good deal?
  20. Great MOD! I really like it. I also see you have quite a Redcoat/Pirate collection. Welcome to Eurobricks! Keep on building.
  21. Ah thank you for your suggestions. Yes, I ran out of bricks, but I will get some more soon to fix up the fort walls a bit. As I said before, I may expand the fort, and your suggestion will be implemented into the design (bricks permitting).
  22. Thanks! Although I like bluecoats, I just don't have enough of them to put in forts like this yet. Besides, they already have a fort. The new "Soldier's Fort" + "Soldier's outpost". Once I get a few classic bluecoats (from ebay or something) as well as a few more new ones, I might make a small outpost for them
  23. I've been tricked! Nice one, Kolonialbeamter. Wow...
  24. If that's true, then I won't be participating in Bobs
