LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
James Wellington replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
http://www.fbtb.net/2015/02/14/toy-fair-2015-lego-star-wars/#more-31557 They've updated the website with videos of the sets along with pictures. Shuttle Tydirum has 2 seats in the cockpit, and 2 seats on one side for the rebel commandos, 1 more seat on the left side of it for Leia as well as some storage for the thermal detonators. I'm currently watching the rest right now. I hope this helps for viewing the sets, and making your decision on what and what not to buy! I myself cannot wait until Shuttle Tydirium comes out. I'm just SO happy with it. -
Yeah. And, at least the Slave I looks good at comes with 4 good minifigures. That Bespin Guard only comes in that set, the Boba Fett has super nice details, it comes with a STORMTROOPER and a Bespin Han Solo with the frozen in carbonite version. And as you said, there is so many cool sets coming out this summer, why use up all/most of your LEGO money on that thing? I'd much prefer a minifig scale TIE Fighter, because the only TIE Fighters I have is the TIE Advanced Prototype, and Darth Vader's TIE Fighter (from like 2008 or something?) and let's just say it's nothing but Darth Vader and half of a wing now, because I dropped it a while back, and than the pieces slowly faded into my various Lego bins. Hm...

I wish I got the 2012 TIE Fighter, because I don't really want to get the expensive USC one (but I might get it) because it's very costly and I don't think it looks the best. I'll have to decide when it comes out.

Everyone has their own opinions on these sets. So far I've seen 9/10 people say that those Battle Figure things look horrid, and I agree 100%. There's so many more things that I can get in Lego Star Wars, and other lego (but mainly Star Wars), that even if they're on sale 70% off or something, I won't get them. -
Agreed. That'd be cool!

Oh yeah. That's a common Rebel Commando face that's on Han. That face has been in three versions of Rebel Commandos. I see Han's face on that Rebel Commando over there. -

Agreed! Although I don't like action figures, I think the regular action figures are good, and these new lego ones will be a disaster. -

I know it is, but he's come in one set already. I wish they had a normal Rebels Imperial Officer. A bit like the OT Officer, but "rebelized". And I never saw him on one of those in series. I'll just consider him a random Imperial Officer, as well as the one I already have from the TIE Advanced Prototype. -

My thoughts. -USC TIE Fighter: It's a bit blocky, it's a lot of money, too. I'm going to most likely skip this one. -Final Duel: I don't know. I'm not used to the new Vader. I like him, just not not used to him. I might skip this set. It depends. -Naboo Starfighter: I may get. I mean, I never got the 2012 one, and there's nothing really special about this one. I'd save I have a 50-50 chance of buying this. -Shuttle Tydirum: I am so getting this. It's better than I expected, and I love the minifigures in the set, even though I'll just kick them out and make it Imperial -Imperial Assault Carrier: I like this ship, and it'll be a good add to my growing Imperial Fleet. I wish that they got rid of that awful brown symbol on the Imperial Officer's hat. I don't really care about the Mandalorian Rebel "Sabine", and I dislike that Agent Kallus guy, so I only want the ship, the pilots, officer and that awesome astromech droid! -Those figure things: Luke and Vader battle figure things... one word for me to describe them is awful. I don't like it, defiantly not getting. -Naboo Flash Speeder: I'm so getting! I love the flash speeder, especially in Episode 1 when it attacks the droids. I like the Naboo Security people. Especially the Royal Guard (the one without the cap, the one with the more "helmty" hat) -Overall thoughts: I like most of the new sets with the pictures released. But let's not forget, there's still more to come. My wallet's going to be busted by the end of summer -

Do my eyes DECEIVE me? I see a Naboo Royal Guard! Not to be mistaken with the Royal Security Guard (on the right with the yellow hat) I'm like freaking out right now! I'm going to buy at least 2 of these sets. Wow! -

Shuttle Tydirium looks amazing! I am getting that first or second, and the Imperial Assault Carrier also looks fantastic. -
It's a bit blocky, but If I have to say, I might get it. There's so many good, new sets coming out in Summer 2015 (episode 7 sets in September, too ) and it is quite expensive, but I like it more than I dislike it. It looks pretty good. It's getting a ton of criticism, and it may not be like the USC Slave I, but you know what, I like collecting Imperial troops and vehicles, and this would look great behind all of them if my army every gets big enough to show all of you guys in the "Show your collection, army, navy" topic. I'd say it's a... maybe 7/10 for me, 6.5 at the lowest, 7.5 at the greatest. Anyway, pretty nice, a few flaws, may or may not get it. And I just noticed I repeated myself a few times, but whatever, you may get my point.

[SoNE Freebuild] They never saw it coming...
James Wellington replied to Commander Smith's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
Now I see you've edited it. You've done a great job in now telling the story and what they're doing. One thing it'd think about is to try to put a bit more detail into the Rogue Clone base, other than that, I'd say it's really good. I actually really like your speeders. You've made a few now, I think, and all of them look quite nice. Keep up the good work! -

I was not aware that there was going to be a new Echo Base set. So many new, cool sets for summer 2015. Some are being released at different times, right? Some in June, some in September? -

I don't really like these new microfigures. I mean they're pretty cool, however I prefer minfigs. I really don't want them in Star Wars sets, and I don't think Echo Base would be a good for them. -

I will be sure to look at that to better understand, however I still think there needs to be more of a story with these freebuilds. Great vehicles, though. -

You make pretty nice vehicles, and your clone army is quite impressive, yet freebuilds aren't just about showing one or two pictures of what you built, more of building something impressive (which you've done a few time), and telling the story of your character, and making new stories, schemes, and builds as he/she goes along. And I don't quite understand how these clones have anything to do with the Rebellion, unless they're Rebels in disguise or rogues, because most clones turned Imperial once Order 66 happened. You make nice builds, yet this doesn't seem to quite be a freebuild to me yet with no story. Keep building! -
Very well done! I love the lights, and just the look of it.

The TIE Advanced Prototype is a very nice set. I'd recommend getting it. I don't like that Inquisitor guy, but the officer and pilot are cool. The ship looks cool, but also a great extra parts set. By the way, my 100th post . Goodbye vassals -

It does seem a bit shuttle-ish. However, I still like it and will be getting it for sure. Number 1 or 2 or 3 on my list. -
Nice review! I think because of this review I'll be getting this. I need a shark, rowboat and a few extra weapons anyway. Not to mention that cool black treasure chest!
