  1. Fantastic story and cool build! The Nile Crocs are honored that our great leader is taking an interest in their actions That's what I thought at first, until I realized it was his brother who was acting monsterous and that the younger one was the actual Desert King. What did he do that makes you think of him as a monster? To me it seems like he was a just ruler who did what was necessary to remove his enemies( I was a little worried when I realized that he tried to sink most of Avalonia, but as long as he doesn't try that again I'm ok with it. After all Avalonia would be far more boring without the Mistic Isles)
  2. Ok. I fixed it so it is now G13 not G 15 Thanks! I agree that the boat would have been better off if it were a rounder, and more angled, but im pretty happy with how much I improved it( it was a rectangle at first ) Thanks guys!!! Yeah, I was almost out of the pieces i used for water last time, so i figured I would try this water technique. Thanks! Hmm, I never thought of using light bley, thats a good Idea! Thanks!
  3. Heres my entry for the Desert King Taking out the Patrol Boat
  4. Nice idea with the covered walkway! The SNOT rockwork also looks great, and the castle itself is fantastic!
  5. Great build! I agree with soccerkid, the pictures tell the story very clearly. For the Desert king!!
  6. The Nile Crocs ambush a small patrol boat on Flagg's Reservoir, killing the scout onboard, a former soldier in the Kaliphlin Guild Forces who is now employed by the Ulandians. This was my first attempt at building a boat, and I am reasonably happy with the result. Sorry about the bad pictures. C and C appreciated If I win I choose G13
  7. Thanks guys!! I'm glad you guys like the figs. The mummy legionnaire was originally intended for an upcoming Nocturnus build, but I couldn't get the head right. When the civil war came out I put a mummy head on him and it look way better.
  8. Thanks! I had fun building this, and I'm glad you guys like it Thanks! I had trouble with these, I had to sit down and take pictures like 4 different times until I got good pics
  9. Thanks! The reason the wall is angled is cover more of the floor, since I started to run out of brown tiles(The wall hides a bunch of colorful tiles) The idea is that this is a a wall in the back of the main central room of the pub and behind it would be rooms, not outside, so a window would be impractical( also the Sand Wolf chamber is on the other side of the wall, so that rules out windows) The wall was built mainly to display the dragon painting( which is a Duplo brick showing the brick built dragon at the Lego store in Orlando, Flordia), but arches or buttresses could have been a nice addition. However, I was running out of dark tan by the top of the wall ( a lot of the dark tan at the top were backwards slopes) so adding anything more probably would have been a stretch.
  10. Heres my Guerrilla build for the Desert King against Ulandus at J13 - Assassination
  11. Nice build! Cool design for the wagon and nice Ulandus figs!
  12. Ok that makes sense. Could you change the title to [G:J13, DK vs U] Assassination ?
  13. Haha, Fantastic story and great posing! However you should probably clarify what side it is for
  14. Oops. It seems I missed that when reading the description. I will just remove the map square from the description and let Ska decide where it goes
  15. Oops. It seems we are also bad at spelling, considering we spelled Barqan wrong 2 different ways
  16. Nice!! I like the Egyptian style. Its nice to see the Desert King's forces grow stronger!
  17. This looks fantastic!! Great job on the pumping system and the aqueduct!! for the Desert King!!!
  18. Great build! The vegetation looks great, and so do the figs. For the Desert King!!!!
  19. Nice build! Great job removing the dangerous threat of Baquan soldiers! For the Desert King!!!
  20. Inside the Dancing Dragon, a small Kaliphalin pub, located in Ulandus controlled territory A minor Kaliphalin Lord, who has sided with the Ulandians, relaxes in the corner of the pub While a Jester entertains the crowd with his dagger juggling trick. But what nobody realizes is that this jester isn't what he appears to be. He is actually an elite assassin for the Desert King, known as the Sand Wolf. The Sand Wolf dashes foreword, quickly slitting the bodyguards throat and stabbing the Minor Lord before making his escape. The Minor Lord lies dying on the ground, still trying to comprehend what went wrong. Additional Pictures: Figless The Minor Lord's bodyguard C and C appreciated I hope I did this right, since theres no other guerrilla builds to go by FYI: This is for the Desert King
  21. Nice build! Haha I wonder if you are implying that Ageven is going to be eating the spy!
  22. we can start doing guerrilla builds, right?
  23. does the base have to be irregular on all 4 sides or can it be straight on 3 sides and irregular on the 4th?
  24. Nice fig posing and neat shape for the base! The only thing I might improve is a little more detal to the base, so it wasn't all plain studs in a lot of areas
