Location: A secret chamber hidden far below the city of Sands End( C7 on war map). It is an ancient shrine to the Desert King, built during the height of his rule and recently reopened. The Southern Dwarf leader and his bodyguard have been invited to this hidden location by a mysterious letter from a Desert King ambassador, offering the possibility of a profitable alliance. The Dwarves are stunned to find themselves in a chamber adorned with many strange gold decorations and hieroglyphics. After dismissing his bodyguard the Southern Dwarf starts talking business with the ambassador. The ambassador shows offers him several chests full of golden coins and precious gems, attempting to impressing him with the Desert Kings vast wealth and great generosity. After lengthy negotiations the ambassador decides to go all out and offers an extremely generous deal. He offers the Dwarves all the gold and gems he showed them and in addition they would get this chamber and all its contents as a gift from the Desert King, in exchange for promising that his entire Dwarven tribe would swear loyalty to the rightful king of Kaliphlin. He then subtly reminded the Southern Dwarf leader that their new fortune is not safe while the enemies rule the city, providing motivation for the dwarves to free the city. He also mentions that other allies of the Desert King will be aiding in the war effort... figless This is a collaborative guerrilla attack by me and blufiji C and C appreciated

Thanks! The road was probably one of my favorite parts; it took a while to get it to be slightly indented from the surrounding area. Thanks guys! Thanks! I built the bone writing for a Nocturnian build but I couldn't really fit it in, so I used it here instead Thanks guys!! I had been wanting to show that the Nile Crocs used actual crocodiles too. I looked at Kai's and robuko's designs for submerged crocodiles for inspiration, and messed around with bricks that they used until i came up with this Yep, and they will continue to assault the enemies of the Desert King! Thanks! This used almost all my Chima Crocs( I had to steal them from my previous builds). I definitely need to get another Croc battle pack

Nice build! The rock shaping is especially nice. I really enjoyed the story, especially the protagonist Nasr. It's disheartening to hear that the treacherous enemies defeated him, but I'm sure he will return later in the war. However the description was disturbing, especially the bit about the " delightful snapping sound that could only be its spine" and other details like that

The Nile Crocs strike again!! Led by the mysterious Ka-a-Sobek, the fearsome Nile Crocs wage war against the enemies of the Desert King, mercilessly eliminating small groups of hostiles. Following a series of minor victories they have become increasingly aggressive and have begun to set their sights on bigger prizes... After receiving word that a large Ulandian force would be passing nearby Ka-a-Sobek knew it was finally time to go all out. He gathered all his troops in nearby areas and planned an ambush… It was a peaceful, sunny day. A gentle, soothing breeze rustled the pam trees, and the water was calm, reflecting the beautiful blue sky. There was a tranquil silence, broken only by the occasional squawk of tropical bird deeper in the trees. Suddenly the silence was shattered by a continuous tapping sound, growing louder by the minute. Suddenly a pair of marching soldiers came into view, then another pair, and another, and another, until a score of soldiers could be seen marching in a column. They wore strange looking breastplates and were garbed in a light shade of green. On their heads they work polished silvery helmets, which shone blindingly in the sunlight and carried razor sharp spears. These were soldiers of the Second Legion of Ulandus, the Salamanders. Suddenly, the entire line dissolved into chaos. Along the entire bank Nile Croc warrior appeared out of the water, rushing onto the shore while more warriors appeared in the water behind them. Ka-a-Sobek led the attack from the front, ambushing the front of the column. He burst out of the water, shouted "ATTACK!!!!!" and charged onto the shore. There he dueled against the Ulandian officer in command of this unit. The duel was ferocious, and several times Ka-a-Sobek barely avoided being impaled by the Ulandian. The duel raged on for several minutes, during which the Crocs finished off the remaining Ulandians Eventually the Ulandian officer tired slightly, and Ka-a-Sobek quickly ended the duel. The battle was won! After the battle the Nile Crocs had a huge feast, which lasted the rest of the day. Afterwards they left a message nearby for the Ulandians Additional Pictures: Ulandian Officer Croc Elder The road Figless The Nile Crocs trained war crocodile Sorry about the bad pictures(again). I was in a HUGE rush to take these since I had to leave for a ski trip immediately after this and I wasn't going to get back till after the deadline, so I had almost no time time to take pictures. C and C appreciated

Defending the Councilors [Minichallenge, High Council]
LordDan replied to Bregir's topic in Guilds of Historica
Great architecture and fig posing!! I'm sure a powerful Avalonian like you will have no trouble defeating this unlawful bandits!! However it is troubling that there is even need for outside help against mere brigands. This truely demonstrates the problem in Kaliphlin, that the High Council isn't strong enough to defend their citizens. They can't even protect themselves! The Desert King will bring order and stability and would quickly eliminate problematic groups like these bandits.- 13 replies

Vengeance at Knightsbridge (Challenge IV Prelude, Chapter 19)
LordDan replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
Great job! Although the build is a little rough in some spots the story is awesome! Petera's scene are especially great, his magical attacks are epic and the posing of the Ulandians while they are being obliterated is great!! It is good to see that the Desert King has taken Knightsbridge, although the cost was indeed horrific- 18 replies

LordDan replied to Lord Vladivus's topic in Guilds of Historica
Nice build! The double layers look very nice, and the figs look cool too! I have personally been trying to have my troops avoid fighting high council troops as much as possible, and have only fought against council troops when absolutely necessary- 22 replies

Taking out the Patrol Boat[WZ2:G12,Desert King]
LordDan replied to LordDan's topic in Guilds of Historica
Thanks! :). The pictures were taking in the evening when the sun was going down and it was overcast out, so conditions were not great and I was rushed to finish taking pictures while there was still light, so the pictures didn't come out that well- 18 replies
