  1. Whoa..you put all the modulars(assuming you have all 4) and the carousel in one box together? That's gonna take you forever to dig through and find the pieces to rebuild them. Have fun! I don't think a pet shop would translate well in LEGO form either. Unless they're springing new animal molds on us, which is unlikely because I thought I read here that they use on current pieces for the modular series. Plus, they'd only have room for maybe 3 animals on one floor. That would make for a pretty lame interior to the pet shop. I hope we some official news soon though, the wait is killing me!
  2. Ok, I have 8 black 1x2 tile pieces leftover after building Ollivanders?... I went through the instructions again and I didn't notice these pieces. Can someone help me out here.... Ugh! I'm gonna go look through the instructions...AGAIN.
  3. I thought the same thing when I saw them. Especially the Obi box...it doesn't have the right shape.
  4. For the people in the 5 digit crowd of minifig owners, I'd like to see some pictorial proof. Not to say I don't believe it, but that would be an awesome sight to see.
  5. I wouldn't mind Spiderman and/or Batman to return. I totally missed out on Spidey, they could make some kick megablocks sets nowadays. I had almost all the Batman wave 1 sets, but needed to make room and gave them to my neighbors son...regretting that move A LOT!
  6. I recently got the Diagon Alley set, but have not put it together yet. I'm in the process of dismantling my city(and every other set I own)because were working on moving. I'm curious how it would look along with the Modulars, Creator houses, City Corner and such. If you've done it, post those pics! I'm leaning towards them not looking too good, especially Borgin and Burkes, I do think Gringotts and Ollivanders would look ok though.
  7. Well, perusing my local TRU today and I saw the new shuttle. Not bad on price either, $29.99. I regret a bit not picking it up, but I'll have other chances...
  8. Wow, what a great job! The detail is awesome and there's so much to look at. The outer facade is nice too, doesn't look out of place with the GE. Again, nice work
  9. That is a very impressive set, build wise. But, for a set of that price, the minifigs are a let down to me. Sure, there's a good number of them, but too many doubles and what's up with the dude wearing lipstick?! Nice find though, I didn't entirely want this set, but for half price... I'd even snag that off the shelf! Nice review too, btw.
  10. 650, cha-ching!
  11. Nice little building, I like the tree!
  12. There's a thread that has all 4 Hogwarts arranged with each other. Looks quite nice, too.
  13. I can't wait for the set to make it's way to the states! My town needs another stoplight. Any word on this set? Is it going to be a Wal Mart exclusive? I noticed LT got his at Target...hmmm. Your pictures make me want this set even more, nuke review. I also am welcoming the trike. I had plenty of them before, but currently don't.
  14. While I do enjoy building and adding each set I buy to my city, I have to say that Pharoahs Quest is mine. I really like each and every set in the series. The whole tomb raider theme is a cool idea. All minifigs are good looking. Although it doesn't really account for us, their playability lasts forever.
  15. Ha, me too! I'm not really overly excited about these sets now that I've seen them. Battle is cool and of course the minifigs make the set. But, with the rocks at the bottom of the towers make the inclusion with the 4th Hogwarts weird. Obviously, because there's no rocks to be had on the castle, it may look a bit off. Since I missed out on it the first time, I'm looking forward to getting the Knight Bus. The Forbidden forest set is a bit dissappointing...4 figs good, but not when you have 3...
  16. To the people saying that's the astronomy tower, are you sure? Either that or it wasn't meant to hook up with the castle. I'm sure there's an astronomy tower already in the 4th Hogwarts. So, if they're meant to connect, why would there be two towers?...
  17. The FF is pretty lacking. The only draw is Narcissa, for me. I have the other three. The KB is cool, I missed out on the other one. Plus 2 new figs is good!
  18. Sorry bout that. I've seen the Log Cabin reviewed in the town section...so I assumed that my topic would fit there, too.
  19. I'm going with Kingdoms. I'm a huge fan of the medevial age and LOVE castles. When I saw the pic of the Mill Raid set, I flipped out! I can't wait to get it when it comes out.
  20. So I was looking at Brickset. On the list of 2011 sets I see two that catch my eye. "Lighthouse Island" & "Hillside House". Anyone have info on these?I'm guessing they're probably summer releases...so there's no news, I'm sure. Figured I'd ask. They sure sound like goodies though. Lego is going quite rustic this year with the Creator houses...first Log Cabin, then Hillside House.
  21. Wow! I looked at the pics of your layout and it is simply amazing! I really like all those cars lined on the grass. All the buildings are awesome. I need to pick up my jaw now, excuse me...
  22. Grr...I hate waiting for sets sometimes. Can we get a confirmation to the Wal Mart exclusive.
  23. Like it says...anyone know if 3648 is available in the US? I haven't seen it at TRU yet, or at Target. Also, is it like the bank set and is exclusive to Target? I'm making this thread because I did post the question in the general city 2011 sets, but got no answer and I'd really like to get this set!
  24. Definitely not heads of house....the Gryffindor is a boy...they all are boys I'd say, judging by their hair. EDIT- Not a bad guess Oky! I would have to agree.
  25. That is a great looking sprint car, nice work! Tow car is cool, too.
