Well, it appears we both mistook(mistook?...doesn't sound right), let's say misread each others reply, so let's leave it at that. Just to clear the air with Chris, I meant no disrespect in my first reply. I was merely joking. All your creations are stunning, I especially like the waterfall.

I'm undecided on series 3. Because of the no barcodes, I'll either stay away or just buy a box and call it a day. I did use barcodes before, only to obtain one full set, not hoard. Or I may just call it quits completely. If it came down to it, I'd rather spend my money on sets.

I assume you're saying this because you think I criticized his tower. Not true, I sid well built MOCs, meaning all 4 of them. then, what I said about the tower *jokingly* because if you looked at his other pictures, you would have noticed hid tower had gotten knocked over, hence not being well built. So, don't get all jumpy, I wouldn't say theyre well built if I didn't mean it.

I'm fairly excited about these. But, I'm kind of bummed to see so many familiar things. In S1and S2 we saw all new accessories with almost every character, here...we have alot of repeats.

I wouldn't wait if that's your reason for doing so. It will never be that % off, not when it's sold so well. I don't collect Bionicle, so I don't really know how popular they are, but that may be why they were 50% off, because they weren't selling.

Very cool and well built MOCs....ok, maybe not the tower, but the others are. Good humor in the stories, as well.

I am by no means a SW expert when it comes to names, but I saw season 3 opener, and the DROIDS being referred to are called aqua DROIDS. As you say, "other droids are called aqua droids(land)". I'm sorry, but anything with aqua in their titles aren't meant for land use. Plus, they don't refer to ships as droids, so I don't think the ship is called aqua droid.

I've never had an issue, either. I've always done the 2 hand hold with spears, sure they aren't quite as sturdy and in there as they should be. But, it works.

I'd definitely get it now. It is an unbelievable set and well worth piece tag. I don't understand how people can actually think that someones going to pay $213 +$20 for shipping on ebay for this.

That thing is ginormous! One thing that's odd though, while the battle droids are advancing, a lot of clog troopers are just standing in ranks right close by. Give the prodders to shoot already!

Aside from those it also has different size, shape, color, location of eyes, fins on the lower jaw, and the shape of the head is completely different. The only way they are the same is the lower jaw comes down in front.

Ah, very nice. Ya know, now that you mention that...I called mine and asked about 8404 on a Monday...said they weren't getting any for about 1 month. I went on my normal Wednesday runs and low and behold they had it. Guess it goes to shows... Good luck next visit!

That's how some people judge and justify the purchase or not. I've read here a few times how people are upset because they get X amount of pieces for X amount of dollars. I buy or don't buy a set based on personal preference, if I like it, most often than not, I'll buy it. Of course, like a lot of us, space is now blurring my preference of bigger sets in some cases.
