I knew about Marvel, that's why I said it in my post. I saw the promo figs as well. I figured we were just getting a mish mash of sets featuring one or more figs in a set. I didn't realize it was based on the Avengers movie.

This only confirms my decision to buy this. I love that they put the fortune teller booth in. I like The Riddler, but why no cane, LEGO?

Nothing on Marvel sets yet, huh? Bummer...I'm really chomping at the bit on these. Definitely want to see finalized Ironman.

After looking at the video a second time, I'd called it a health clinic. At least the majority of towns will now have some healthcare.

Wait...were getting Avengers and Marvel? Same. There's no restraints with Kingdoms as there is with LotR(to an extent). With Kingdoms, they could make the castle look like they want it to, make any civilian set(s) they see fit.

With the different ways to configure the Castle, I think the Joust set will couple with it very well.

After seeing the pics, albeit blurry ones, I'm not overly impressed with LotR... With the great kingdoms sets we've seen, I really hope kingdoms makes a comeback.

Hmm, a bit unsure about the house. I don't like the lower left model, can't see the lower right good enough and don't have a beach in my city. I suppose I will now. Finally, we have a proper beach house.

Well, between this, minus the hospital, and the Monsters theme, my wallet will be a bit heavier next year. Not too interested in these sets, just a meh rating. I may, however, get the little truck. The hat is kinda cool and diversify my population a bit more.

Not bad. I like the building, not too sure about the color(s) though. I do like the shape of the building a lot. Nice interior too, that spinning wheel is great! You have a lot of good details, the camera is awesome. The 1x1 rounds over the arch though, should be multicolored, a la Christmas lights.

Your CMF point is a great one, IMO. Sure, the female skater, surfer, astronaut, etc, have either pink and/or purple, TLG made them. Sure, skateboarding is male dominated(professionally, in the least)but hey, a girl can skateboard too. More or less, if there's a male "whatever" there's going to be a female "whatever" in an upcoming series.

In regards to commercials, I could be wrong, but I don't remember ever seeing kids(aside from hands)in System commercials... That right there even says, in a way, that these toys aren't just for boys. And, I'm not sure of the relevance and it's off topic. I saw a commercial for Chevy trucks. A little boy was on the floor roleplaying with a silver truck. He had his action figures, of course. Truck was towing a boat, then, among everything was a doll and a two story white house with pink trim. I may be talking to myself with stating this, but I thought it pretty good.
