I went with the last option. I don't really mind either one. I'm not too picky on the looks of the animals. I do love the new goats and chickens, though.

Looks good, although the street looks a bit too narrow. The yellow car looks to be riding the curb. Might try making it 3x instead of 2x. I can't wait to see you(and others) expand on the minis.

What I'd like to do someday would be to create a Medieval world. Not using MOCs but creating a landscape to situate them on. It would be extremely large though, because I'd like to have decent sized areas for my different castle factions. I really like what mayday artist is doing.

I want to see the whole cake(or pie)! That's a really cool scene. I like all the goings about in there. The tree dwellers quarters are really creative. I'm always a bit bummed to hear displays like this are dismantled. I guess don't really have much choice in the matter, though. It looks like you got an award? What for?

I'm a bit on the fence with this strategy. On one hand, I like the new themes were getting. On the other hand, like with PQ & AC I really like those themes and was hoping for more. In the end, I suppose it doesn't really make a difference one way or the other if we get one wave or more.

Yeah, Ive always been skeptical of this in the first place. Like TB aid, theres plenty of details in these sets that could pick out all kinds of things as 'hints'. Until I hear/read it from an official statement from someone at LEGO, moreover, the design team, I'll continue to be skeptical. It is kind of fun to speculate on the little buts in each set on whats to come...

Not to mention Batman and Robin. While it's not a very exciting or elaborate printing...

Isn't it K'nex who has the license? Either way. Whenever the license ends with them, I'd love to see some LEGO Mario. But, I don't think there's any bandwagon of companies making Mario Kart sets, just K'nex(or maybe Mega Bloks?)

I'm up to 935 now. But that doesn't include all my CMF(complete S1 and 2, then bits, maybe another dozen from the other series). With all the sets I plan on buying this year, I'll definitely hit the 1K mark by years end.

I just watched Impact Wrestling on Spike tv. Not sure what to make of this...but next Thursday is SW edition... I'm intrigued to see what exactly this is going to entail. So, that's Thursday, February 9th at 9pm on Spike tv. This ought to be interesting.

After seeing Girl with the Dragon Dragon Tattoo. I started on this series, still needing the third book. Not far into the book to really give an opinion, but based on the movie and other peoples opinion, it'll be great.

Saw Contraband. It was a cool action flick with some good actors. Kate Beckinsale.

I think you really captured the spirit of the official sets perfectly. You've got the main building and 2 sub models along side. The interior is great, too. However, forgive me if it's there, I didn't see any light brick, which is a staple in the sets. Good luck in the contest.

Sweet! I haven't read the chapter yet, but I enjoyed the last bit. I don't think I missed a chapter...but, was the last one where the Mage went inti the tomb/cavern and released that demon? I hope I didn't miss anything, because I really enjoyed it.

Well, they must be selling overall. I don't think they'd make another one if the previous versions didn't sell. I, for one, am ok with them. I have both Kloons and Windus, while missing out on the others. Sure, they're not the coolest ships in the galaxy, but they do have a great swoosh factor.

Cool. They add a nice bit of detail to the overall fig. Who would've thought a few lines could make such a difference.

I'm not sure what you mean, but the picture being discussed is of the Summer wave. Is there 4 planet sets coming out? Or...is it the January releases too? I'm liking the Malevolence. Maybe that's because I'm not such a stickler for accuracy as some of you SW nuts are. Don't get me wrong, I want accuarcy, but size doesn't matter. Besides, haven't we been over this a million times before... The other ship, while I have no background info on it, I like it and will be buying it too.

I'm really on the fence here. While I don't have an issue with people selling old sets for a profit, it's just when they get ridiculous with them. $1K + prices for anything LEGO seems insane. People who hoard sets just to sell later I'm also on the fence about. If people didn't do that, people coming out of their DA wouldn't have a chance to own them. I guess what my quip with reselling is, price. Granted, I don't sell LEGO, but, I do buy some off eBay from time to time. I kind of see this price gauging to be a lousy way of taking advantage of people. Like L@go said, I don't like hearing someone complain because they missed out on this or that set. Everyone has, and will continue to do so. It's the same in any hobby. Calling it unlucky as opposed to unfair is brilliant. That's just the way it goes.
