Very nice! I know it's based on 10218, but wouldn't it look better in white? After all, hospitals in LEGOland are all mainly white.

$200 is going to be a bit hard to swallow. But with the amount of pieces, I understand the price jump. Too bad it wasn't the rumored $180... If it goes past $250, i'll give it a second look, but more than likely still get it. I love my modulars. Damn you LEGO! Can't recall who said it, but I wish they'd just keep it in the $150 price point. Even if that means lower piece count and slightly less in details.

Any ideas where the new Town Hall is going? What's to come of the old one?

Congrtas fellas on the promotion!

In the recent Entertainment, The Vampire Diaries cover, has an interview(haven't read yet) with Ahmed Best AKA Jar Jar Binks.

I agree whole heartedly. While I didn't get as many of the first SW BP as I wanted, I did get 10 of the second. I really don't want or need ten BARC speeders, nor ten of the new cannon... But, looks like I will have ten anyways. I'd probably be more inclined to buy more BPs if they were Castle-esque.

Threepio is looking very festive with his little hat there. What is that? I see it's the chrome one, but what's with the head?

Star Wars: Battle of Hoth not to get US release?!
Vindicare replied to Blondie-Wan's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Drat. I was actually going to buy that game. I like the figs and mini vehicles. -
That is amazing! They raised the bar by making it functional and not just a dio. The video should've been longer so we could've seen the whole roll...I haven't checked Okys link yet though, so maybe there's one there.

Ditto. I don't think he knows what purist means. If he reads tis thread, he'll know.

Hasbro's Kre-o! Is Lego seriously going to let this happen?
Vindicare replied to Omegablue's topic in General LEGO Discussion
How is it low of Hasbro creating a line like this? I don't understand what all the hate for clone brands...it's like the respective companies killed your dog. You don't like it, don't buy it. Just because were AFOLs doesn't mean we have to stick our noses up at other brands. Just ignore it. Then, put on your blinders when you get to the toy aisle. -
You've been on here since you were 3...(or 4, depending on when your birthday is)? You must be some super genius, cause I didn't know how to use a computer or type or many other things associated with a computer at that age. Assuming 7 is your real age and you didn't leave off a digit Toy Story isn't even old enough to be considered nostalgic.

MAWLR Fields MOC
Vindicare replied to alienwar9's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I don't visit this section, but I had to comment on this after seeing it on the front page. This is amazing. You must have the patience of a saint to do this digiMOC. Really impressive. -
Here! Here! I love looking at your great MOCs. They are some of the best on EB. Here's to many years of more MOCs!

Ack! The horror! Looks good.

After just seeing TPM the other day, this scene is fresh in my mind. Great recreation of it, as usual. Another great build with all the details we've come to expect out of one of your builds. I like the way you portrayed the action in the scene.

1. Male 2. 30 3. Oh, my memory isn't that good. 4. Modulars. I like the builds and the resulting set(s). Making a detailed street. 5. I like LEGO because it distracts me from the other crap in my life. It keeps me happy.

Hasbro's Kre-o! Is Lego seriously going to let this happen?
Vindicare replied to Omegablue's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Kre-o isn't the first, and it won't be the last, interlocking plastic brick toy aside from LEGO. I wouldn't exactly lose any sleep over Hasbro. Just take a deep breath, tell yourself it's going to be okay and go buy some LEGO. -
Or go with 4738. That way you get your uniformed Ron as well. Plus, you get the hut, which is a pretty prominent structure in the HP universe.

Ack! I had not thought of that... I HOPE we get comic Fury. We did get comic Deadpool, so there's still hope. I'm still not a fan of Ironmans helmet, except for the opening front. I don't get why they made it so huge, it just doesn't look good. I can't see it changing either(unless, of course this helmet is still preliminary) when I get it in my hands.

Have people complaining about blind packaging never collected anything before? Trading cards are blind packaged. As a kid, there were dozens of little toys that were blind packaged. It's the only way to make it, in a sense, fair. Could you imagine, given the current way they have each box set up with certain figs, what would be left for the kids after the "vulture" AFOLS hit the LEGO aisle. Kids wouldn't have a chance to get a Spartan, Elf, Zombie, Roman, or any desirable fig. Not to mention the people out to make a buck on eBay would pick the bones dry of any boxes they see.
-
That's the spirit! Now, you don't have to decide.
-
Also, on the SW note, the Advent Calendars(both last and this year) and the current planet series. Not only will you get small pieces, you'll get pieces directly suited to your wants. You might get some ideas, too.

I'm not positive, but a few coats from a Sharpie may cover the grey. Cover it, let it dry, do another coat if it looks too thin or patchy. I've never customized anything with Sharpie, though. The beard is the same as any other dwarf beard, just with the grey bits. Shouldn't be a fitting problem with any dwarves you own.

MOC: Meow............Happy Valentine's Day 2012 !
Vindicare replied to Schfio factory's topic in Special LEGO Themes
After reading your post, I looked at them again, and I have to agree. I think it's the angle, but they look like they're mad(their eyes). Laser beams attached to their frickin' heads? Schio, you never cease to amaze. These are both cute and demonic at the same time. That's extremely hard to do. I eagerly await your next creation.
