Not necessary would be my guess. That one has a great B movie feel and look to it. I think it fits fine. Not everything needs to be MOCed. I like the scene, the peace sign is a nice touch and a classic alien slogan. Does that feller on the ATV have some moonshine? He better steer clear of that Copper!

That, I think, is the big question in everyones mind who plans to buy this and has a City layout. It will be interesting to see all the updates to Cities with the TH in it. In mine, it will most likely be standalone, but at the moment, I have just my Modulars on display, so it'll go in line for now. Once I get my town back up, it'll replace 10194 Town Plan hall as a standalone with the fountain and some plants.

This a great walk down memory road. Such good pictures of almost every detail to be had in this set. I think it was sparked in 'Squishy Stalacite' thread about nothing good coming out of the Nineties. I don't remember if it was him, or someone else, but it was in that thread. This is a clear example of what great sets were released in the Nineties. I enjoy reading reviews here, not even just for sets/themes I like. The reviews and pictures here give such a great perspective of the set(s) in question. Now, where are those monorail set reviews.

Got a great start going. I like the bit of the dirt path you have there. The foundation is also done well. One suggestion, maybe throw in some light bley 1x2 tiles to give a better look to it.

I agree. This series is really looking good. I completely take back my earlier comments about it. I really didn't want to like it...it's another AC/PQ theme. Drat.

Something that might sweeten the pot a bit towards getting 7066. I was just on LEGO.com, it's currently on sale for $71 and change in the USA.

If you really want to make green arm Robin, I would recommend buying one off eBay or Bricklink, whichever is your preference. That way, you can have both Robins and not compromise your sets.

Nice looking cabinet there. What did you do with specific printed/stickered pieces? I'm going through ideas and sorting methods in my head and using this thread. But I still haven't seen any good results for those bricks... EDIT: Finally, I'm free! (1776 posts. America reference)

You could try the rebel troops from 10198 Tantive IV. They have a black strap with a chin guard.

I hope we see more colors. I got so excited to see first the green bike in 8404 and the white bike in 7498. I still need to get the white bike. I got the previous incarnation of the Police Station. So I wasn't going to buy it just for a bike. I'm going to eBay it, along with yellow, black and pink.

Ok, so my game plan is to treat myself to a little birthday shopping spree during Double VIP points at the LEGO store. Since I don't get there much, I want to make it count. I'm going for store exclusives here, nothing I can otherwise buy at TRU. My plan is 10230 Mini Modulars(FIRM) 10224 Town Hall(FIRM) 10220 VW Camper Van 10223 Joust Any other exclusives I should consider? I have a lot of the recent exclusives, MMV, Maersk Train, Tantive, Dropship/AT-OT, all Modulars, Diagon Alley I want the Dub and Joust, but anything that in your opinion are better, throw it at me.

Yeah, I'm not really a fan either. I mean, they're neat little builds with stands and all, but there's much more things on my list to get. Plus, nothing in the line really impresses me enough to buy. That Big Ben is fairly tempting though. On a different note, "nano blocks" makes some cool Architecture type sets, castles, to be exact. I'd love to see some castle sets to come out of this line. I don't know if castles really fit with the line, though.

Nice little market there, but...does your sign say, "YOU CAN BEAT OUR PRICES."? Shouldn't it say can't. I like the custom stickers and it's a nice interior, every detail of a meat shop that should be there, is.
