I would've loved to see the look on the face of the employee when you said you're not robbing the place. I know I've done the ol' brown box looking. That was a fun build, it's big so you better have quite a bit of shelf space.

Fantastic! Nice piece usage all around! A little cramped inside. Great job with the log cabin. That tree looks like frosting squirted out of a piping bag.

This is awesome. I like that you incorporated all the official ones plus MOC ones. I like that you even added some other D2C sets. I definitely look forward to the real thing.

Pretty much the same from me. Great job incorporating the brick separators into this. Very cool to see 8 levers for each of it's arms . I don't mind the legs being skinny, it's different.

That's awesome! The blast radius is great and the collapsing buildings really add to the effect. That ship is menacing, too.

I was going to say to put it on a shelf, but that would have to be a high shelf. Best bet then would be to keep your LEGO in a room where there's a door, keep it closed at all time.

I'm not so sure. He's no taller than a minifig, but bulkier in the torso.

I'd definitely be upset, but this has yet to happen to me. There's no way the money they give him will make up for the profit he would have made, depending on the set, of course.

I too would love to see the classic characters, I'd like to see some of the obscure toy characters. Could you imagine how awesome the fly version of Stockman would be?!(what with the GS bugs) But... When I saw the photos of this line, i did like it and was excited for them, but now that I just got done building 79104 Shellraiser Street Chase set and obtaining all four Turtles I can officially say that I am in love with this theme. 79104 didn't really interest me a whole lot, I mean I liked it ok, and once I found out it also had train wheels, that bumped it up a few more points. Once I got it in my hands and built, I like it a lot more. It really is a cool vehicle. The shell roof is a great detail. The Turtles themselves are insanely cool! Some of the best looking figs, ever(yeah, I said it). I certainly hope this theme is not a one and done, but lasts for MANY years(that means people have to watch the show!). Dogpound is an interesting fig. He's not quite a minifig, yet he's not quite a maxifig(??). Where do we categorize him? He is a new size we've never seen before?

I don't know, I still don't see what all the fuss is. I did notice that the arch pieces that came in the set are thinner under the 6 studs than the replacement ones. I still don't think shaking is a viable reason to call TLG for a free replacement. It just doesn't seem like a valid enough reason, it's not people are picking up the set when they look at it and shake it. Sure, there is movement when you pock it up to put it on a different shelf or something, but that still can't be that big of a nuisance.

That is putting it bluntly... It reminds me of people getting up in arms with 9466 Mad Scientist and His Monster and the light blue pieces were transparent when shining a flashlight in them... Just nitpicking a set in an unusual manner. I'll admit shaking your set is a but strange.

Yup. This thread had me open mine up, just built the window, *rattle-rattle*. And, I have the little bar in the middle of my arches as well.

I saw three MOC Star Trek items on display. If they belong to anyone on here, nicely done. There were a couple guys there buying big, but I didn't have the nerve to ask of they were AFOLs. One guy bought doubles of 70502 Coles Earth Driller & 70503 The Gilden Dragon. I thought for sure he was one.

After getting my hands on this set, I think I know why his bike is so big. He dumped a canister of mutagen on it and it got super sized, a la TMNT sequel.

I now have a favorite fig: Turtles!! I bought a few sets today and man are they awesome! They just make me grin, I love 'em!

The wings...the helmets...everything! They had some displayed at the store too. One of the Ravens had gold on his mask, just fantastic is this line. I'm somewhat regretting getting the Turtle sets instead now, Edit: why does a set with 109 pieces need two booklets?!
