  1. Thank you! We appreciate helping to keep this discussion as on-topic as possible with a bunch of us impatient Harry Potter LEGO nerds.
  2. Mario Set Names can be found on Instagram...
  3. The microscale Hogwarts came out on September 1st, with a preorder release date for VIPs on August 15th. That was really cool, as Hogwarts start of term is September 1st. Likewise, Harry first went to Diagon Alley on July 31st, so I could very easily see August 1st (a Saturday this year) or right around there being the official release date, with mid July for VIP release. Sadly, while I did get Hogwarts by selling some things, Diagon Alley is going to be beyond my financial means for at least a while if not permanently. My plan is to buy the Burrow, some collectible minifigs, and the Advent Calendar when they come out, and then ask for the Astronomy Tower and the Room of Requirement from my wife and parents for Christmas.
  4. I'm...not going to take that bet.
  5. We'll get there, guys! I think we're all anxious to see things. and half us of are probably refreshing Instagram a little too often (myself included)! I'm just grateful that leaks are coming relatively soon!
  6. Except the 1000 piece set likely is without the key Mario component, which is the bulk of the price for the 231-piece starter set.
  7. Right there with you! So many different things LEGO could do with this line.
  8. Target had Hogwarts Express as a retailer exclusive for the first month, and then other stores got it. Everyone was right!
  9. Assuming one of these confidential is indeed the Knight Bus.
  10. Good call! And indeed, sounds like it! Now, not saying LEGO couldn't improvise and incorporate the Watchtower/Dark Tower with some other part of Hogwarts...and that's even if the scene is with Sirius' rescue. Who knows at this point!
  11. Do we know for sure that the Watchtower being reported is indeed the Clocktower? When Sirius is rescued in the movie, is the tower part of the Clocktower? I WANT the Clocktower, but I wonder if it's a smaller part of Hogwarts with Harry, Hermione, Sirius, Buckbeak, and a loan Hogwarts tower with a little jail cell.
  12. I love every single thing about it from the giant building all the way down to the little baby with reindeer print.
  13. In LEGO's shop site. Love everything about it.
  14. This Diagon Alley set is actually good news even for those who don't like microscale?.Why? Because this set is so small, everything they make microscale appears to fall into the same scale as Hogwarts. Those worrying any large Harry Potter D2C sets would all be microscale hopefully will be comforted by that fact...there are few (if any) things in the HP universe that would even be close to the size of Hogwarts. I really feel like there are two lines... the system scale line and the microscale line, and a release in one doesn't mean no release in the other. We have a microscale Hogwarts, and we have a buildable Hogwarts released over time. We now have a microscale Diagon Alley coming, and I'm sure a system scale one will come in time, too.
  15. My gut is telling me that Wizarding World will probably be once a year or so, and the annual late summer/early fall date makes sense based on the story. There also will not be a movie next year like there is this year. And this year has a big push due to the anniversary celebrations. Then again, we've seen already how successful the first wave has been, so I could be totally wrong. I kind of hope it's only one wave a year and after next spring, as it's going to take me that long just to get all the first wave! Great Hall was a belated bday present (got money in the spring for that), I sold a bunch of comics to pay for Hogwarts, my family is giving me a couple sets for Christmas, but Hogwarts Express and Quidditch are going to have to wait until my next birthday. So much good stuff! Great time to be both a Harry Potter fan and a LEGO fan!
  16. Picked up my preorder this morning and completed the first two bags. Could not be happier so far.
  17. I would have at least considered it too if extra, shame on me. And I'll still get there when the store opens at 10:00 (St Louis area), but I look forward to NOT going in at 7:30 to stand in a line and hope I get one. ;-) Well done, LEGO. I just hope word gets out so everyone can get one who wants one.
  18. No, it's just part of the 400. So on the actual day you pick it up, you pay the remaining balance and they will give you your castle.
  19. U.S. This is the first time!!!
  20. Just as an FYI, LEGO stores are now taking preorders for Hogwarts. At my LEGO store, you have to put $40 down...they expect to have 50 slots. However, you have to do this in person (but call ahead first to make sure your store is offering the same deal.) Good luck! I am going to the store on my lunch hour today...
  21. No backorder message for me so fingers crossed. Happy hunting to all on both sides of the water.
  22. I got the two sets I wanted through US site... hall and willow. Those two disappeared first within ten minutes. Quidditch lasted about 25 minutes. But they were indeed available until sellout.
  23. I saw that too. Maybe Target exclusive for first month? Great Hall and Whomping Willow already backordered ...whew!
  24. Now available to preorder on Shop @ Home with in stock on July 1 Pre-order this item today, will be in by Jul 1 2018 And now available on Shop at Home with double points!
  25. So...in the past has anyone had success ordering a whole box? If so, where do you get them from? LEGO store told me they don't sell them by the box, and I have two friends who want to split a box with me. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, as I'm buying far more in this assortment than any other.
