Yep, my current best guess is buildable house mascots in some form. Only time will tell!
-
And with his announcement, Luigi is up for preorder. Double VIP points!
-
Thanks! I've been looking forward to it for about a year now! :-) Thank you!

Thank you!

Today, I received the Astronomy Tower as a birthday present. I think this build will nicely conclude my minifigure Hogwarts. And as neat as the CoS Hogwarts and attaching sets are, I think I'm good focusing on the Hogsmeade and Chess sets for the Harry Potter summer wave. And then we'll see what 2022 brings. :-)

Luigi has always been my favorite Mario character, going all the way back to 1986. Tomorrow (the 19th) is my birthday. LEGO, make it happen. :-D

I am SUPER excited about the chess set and will be preordering it. Yes, the pieces might fall over easier than if on a stud, but then again, it's just like an ACTUAL chess set. I think it has high value for what all is included in the set. And I'm even more excited about Hogsmeade than I was when hearing about the set and seeing preliminary. It will go well with my existing Shrieking Shack, and then can join my Winter Village landscape around the holidays. I love the CoS Hogwarts, but I am...OK, not getting it. I'll consider my current minifigure Hogwarts complete with the Astronomy Tower, and with that and the microscale Hogwarts, that particular itch has been well scratched....for now.

Try right-clicking on a blank spot near top of page. Then you hopefully can click "Translate to English."

Change your url to say just stonewars.de instead of the regular URL. That did it for me. Hope this helps!

I'm excited about the Hogwarts Chess set now that I can afford it, and it might make the Fluffy set more tempting as well. I'm interested to see what the minifigure differences are between those two sets.
-
While I'm likely getting a lot less Harry Potter this year (Hogsmeade is the only plus so far), I'm still just as anxious as ever to see official descriptions and pics, hopefully end of next month if the pattern continues. I can't afford it right now, but I'm really looking forward to seeing what this Chess set business is about, too.

Marvel Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion
BigHobbit replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
My wife and I are rewatching the Marvel movies, but this time in chronological order. Between the Final Battle set, seeing the beauty that is the Daily Bugle) which I sadly will not be able to afford), and the upcoming CMF, it's quite a year to be a LEGO Marvel fan! -
Really hoping in a month or so we'll not only have set names but some actual pics of the summer sets. I'm still naively keeping my fingers crossed for Luigi with maybe some Haunted Mansion action.

I kind of think the 4-piece puzzle is already unofficially known, just not officially announced. Marvel MCU Legacy Sets, D2C Daily Bugle, CMF Line, and Advent Calendar. -
Unknown. If that was Quirrell in the CoS set, and we are not getting a golden Peeves (makes sense we are not due to previous explanations on this page), then I really feel that the 4 remaining sets other than the $250 have Hagrid, Snape, Draco, and Dumbledore.
-
You make good points! So indeed, that probably is Goldemort in the Chamber of Secrets set. And maybe he's replacing Peeves for those very reasons. I still wouldn't be surprised to see Dumbledore, Hagrid, Snape, and Draco as the remaining gold figures.
-
@BrickMatit asked a few pages back if maybe the Goldemort figure was actually Peeves, which would mirror the original release gold minifigures. I think they may be onto something and wouldn't be surprised to see Gold Dumbledore, Hagrid, Draco, and Snape joining Quirrell in the August waves if that's the case. And there ARE 5 sets left... 76391 - $249,99 76392 - $59,99 76393 - $119,99 76394 - $39,99 76395 - $29,99 Also, even though I prefer Minifig scale sets, I think it would be HILARIOUS if one of the Gold minifigs came with a brick built Niffler since Nifflers love all things shiny.
-
Ha ha, and with THAT, Happy Mario Day! Hard to believe it was a year ago that we got our first glimpse of this fun theme.
-
I'm impressed at the piece count per price. The 3-in-1 Pirate Ship last year had 1265, and this has over 200 pieces more for the same price. Same amount of minifigures, same amount of larger animals (shark vs dragon), a brick-built bird, a skeleton, etc. All match up other than the extra amount of pieces for the castle.
-
True, but even the beloved Medieval Market Village came with buildable chickens.
-
Details on the 3-in-1 set, similar to Black Falcons Castle, up on Promobricks. No horse, but dragon, buildable chickens, 2 knights and civilian. A water wheel is integrated.

I kind of wonder if LEGO just feels like once they do Deathly Hallows sets, that will be seen by many as "the end" of the Harry Potter line because that story has such a solid conclusion. So instead, they're just going back and revisiting previous movies/books instead of representing DH. I'm fairly confident that eventually they WILL get to most everything we want to see. Frankly, I'm kind of hoping that (for my own selfish reasons only) there aren't a TON of sets I want in any one year. I mean, we're only in February, I know a minimum of two Harry Potter sets I will definitely be getting (Hogsmeade and Forbidden Corridor), one large one I might be getting (Great Hall/Chamber of Secrets), and I've already gotten the 4 Hogwarts Moments and the $150 Medieval Blacksmith!
-
Lol. We could also have Hergoldine for Hermione to complete the set.
