My money is still on an exclusive DVD release of the Avengers movie, but only time will tell when/where he'll show up. The Marvel line does seem to parallel the DC line in a number of ways, and we now know that DC has a minifig release with the Lego Batman 2 game...of course, if a Marvel Lego game is announced for later this year, I'd say that would be the likeliest spot for him. I'll be happy with the characters that are being released for now.

Considering Sunday April 1st is the official release for Marvel Lego, and considering the Ultimate Spider-man cartoon also debuts on April 1st, it sure would be nice if they release details of the Spider-man set on April 1st (or even the day before on the 31st) as well!
-
Yep, if memory serves, semi-regular heroes include Iron Fist, White Tiger, Luke Cage, and Nova.
-
We have confirmation this set is from the Ultimate Spider-man cartoon that starts in April. And Iron Fist just happens to be a semi-regular in the show, so having his minifigure in the set makes perfect sense.
-
First reported on Brickset, these pics were taken from John Lewis store, Oxford Street (UK). So far the only U.S. report was that someone supposedly found one set in a NC Target. I suspect reports will start showing up on Sunday, as the most commonly heard street date has been April 1st.

Ha ha, touche. Of course we all know that the best "EB" is Eurobricks. :-)
-
It looks like EB is charging $68 for the regular one and $78 for the exclusive, while the regular price on Amazon is $50. It will be interesting to see if Best Buy or other retailers have their own exclusives (but if they do, I imagine they'll be a lot cheaper than EB).

And here come the exclusive minifigs. Preorder Lego Batman 2 Playstation game from EB and get a Powersuit Lex Luthor minifig. Lex Luthor powersuit minifig

Sorry, yes, I meant when Avengers comes out on DVD. I remember when Walmart included a Young Han Solo minifig with a Star Wars TV Lego DVD special (although I admit, that DVD was Lego related, whereas my theory involves the regular Avengers movie). Again, it was just a guess. Only time will tell when and where Nick Fury will pop up.
-
And I know some will wonder where Nick Fury is at on the microsite...I'm really starting to think he'll be a pack-in with an exclusive version of the DVD in November or whenever the movie is released. That's 100% a guess, though.
-
I like how you get stats when you click on each minifig (except the foot soldiers). Kind of like Shield files...
-
The microsite is up, but still no Spider-man hints. My link

Thanks for posting--the close-ups of the minifigs look nice. I agree, Iron Man looks great. I still think Hulk is probably my favorite--love that new, bulky mold.

Toth's portfolio can be found here (look at the second half). Enjoy! -

If we got some of Toth's Mythology or Fairy Tale designs, I would be very, very happy. And my friend would like nothing more than that Artemis minifig he designed. -
Definitely getting the Hulk's Hellicarrier Breakout and Captain America's Avenging Cycle. I might hold off on the Quinjet though, and just get Black Widow and Iron Man off Bricklink. Really want to see pics of the Spider-man set now...

I, too, am really looking forward to this mysterious Spider-man set. Spider-man has always been my favorite superhero, and I'd love a set with several minifigs (maybe including Mary Jane and multiple villains as others have said). The only set I got from DC was the Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape (love the set), and something with a similar cost, number of pieces, and number of minifigs would be fantastic.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 6 Discussion

A friend and I have been using a combination of the feel method and the dots. We've been pretty successful using the feel method (just got most of the ones we wanted last week), but for some reason, we're still down a surgeon and a Minotaur for each of us after multiple attempts. Getting frustrated, as the series has been moving fast through the stores (especially with the Toys R Us 2 for $5 sale last week). I want my Minotaur! -
Monster Fighters 2012

Wow, you're right. I know the R2-D2 shown before the Haunted House is confirmed as a future release, so maybe the Haunted House will be for Monster Fighters next assortment or maybe a Lego Exclusive set (due to its size)? It looks neat! -
Yeah, but I think the Lego sets are more plot focused than say, the action figures.
-
I'm really, really hoping the Avengers sets come out in April. It might have something to do with the fact that my birthday is on April 19th. Otherwise, I'll ask my wife and my parents how they feel about IOUs. Lol...

Monster Fighters 2012

Has anybody seen how expensive the Castle is going to be? I've seen the prices for several of the sets, but not the castle. -
Agreed. We know the first set is called Doc Ock's Ambush and is probably a Lego/Toys R Us exclusive. Considering the Batman exclusive had 5 different minifigs, who knows what the Spider-man set will contain? I'd love for it to come with a Mary Jane and/or some of the Sinister Six.

I suspect that the zombies set we haven't seen anything for includes a cemetery. -
Thank you for the perspective! I remember wanting Yoda so bad, but it was awhile before he showed up. Getting all the Fellowship in the first wave is actually quite impressive, not to mention getting Gollum, Eomer, and others.
