  1. The car outside the Castle actually comes with the Castle. The Hearse is much different (and cooler) than the smaller one with the castle. :-)
  2. Or perhaps the vehicle that Nick Fury is in is a spoiler. For example, what if Nick Fury fights alongside Cap using a Shield mech or something like that? I'm guessing that the Marvel sets are close in size and price to the DC sets. If so, the Cap set will probably be similar in size to the Catwoman set, except maybe both minifigs have vehicles instead of just one. We'll find out soon, I'm sure.
  3. Right now, all signs point to an exclusive Spider-man set, Doc Ock's Ambush, coming out this year. The Wolverine set is not based off the movie and is instead comic versions, so you should be quite happy with the Deadpool minifig.
  4. Thanks--I vaguely recall seeing piece amounts before, but I was drawing an absolute blank. These counts do seem familiar--thanks for posting them!
  5. Trying to remember, do we know a piece count yet for each of these sets?
  6. Does anybody know a piece count yet for the Marvel sets? I'm just wondering how the piece counts compare to the DC sets.
  7. New photos of Hulk and Cap. My link
  8. I think part of the problem, as said above, is that most of these sets contain potential spoilers for the Avengers movie. Preliminary images for June's Lord of the Rings Lego sets obviously don't contain spoilers since the movies have been out for years. Even minifigs might give something away. I suspect we'll only see a few images at Toy Fair to keep things under wrap for longer.
  9. My birthday is April 19th--I keep looking at that "Available April" on the image and wondering what are the odds these will actually be out by my birthday (especially since some of the sets probably have spoilers for the May 4th movie). Hulk's pants color may be explained by what he's wearing when on the Helicarrier, since the set he comes with is the Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout. I like the look of Cap and Hulk the most, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what the Thor and Hawkeye minifigs will look like.
  10. While there is indeed a Wolverine chopper scene in the movie, Wolverine has a chopper in many comics and cartoons. The X-Men sets, for now, are indeed supposed to be based off the comics, and numerous sites have listed Magneto and Deadpool as being included in this particular set. Should be interesting to see what Lego comes up with!
  11. I can't post the link from the blog directly as I have to have more posts first. (Guess that's what I get for reading infinitely more than I actually post). Anyway, someone posted a link which is not the one I was talking about. The one I was referring to with the Monster Fighters rumor is from a site called legotalk247.blogspot (and do a search to find the actual link). But I myself don't know how much to believe on this site (and even the site itself says it's a rumor), so I'm taking it with many grains of salt. Just passing along the rumor when I saw people were hypothesizing about a new action theme.
  12. Rumor has it according to the Lego Talk blog, it's going to be Monster Fighters. This is the same blog that, I believe, reported early on the rumor of Lord of the Rings, which has yet to be confirmed.
  13. Agreed! I will sorely miss Kingdoms and the absence of an in-store Castle line in 2012, but I will be extremely happy if I can get a couple theoretical Hobbit-related sets such as Bag End or Smaug the Dragon. Only time will tell for sure...
  14. I'm betting b/out means breakout--Hulk busting out of the Helicarrier. Yes please!
  15. Maybe it's Mad-eye Moody?
  16. I'm new here, but I'm really looking forward to the six sets this fall. I'm also happy to hear, even if the information is limited, that sets might continue beyond this assortment. I, too, suspect a Diagon Alley or Hogsmeade set. I'm just hoping the price range isn't too far beyond the price of Hogwarts. Getting past $150 is really more than I can rationally spend on a set. Regardless, can't wait until October! And maybe the last minifig to be revealed on the teaser site that looks like a second Ginny is really a minifig from a 2011 set? Perhaps I'm just doing some ol' wishful thinking.
