Per the catalog I am looking at right now, the Pig Farm IS marked with an "only at Big W" stamp, as is the red creator sports car (which explains why it isn't in the retailers catalog as mentioned by someone else earlier in the thread) and the Luke Speeder and the 5508 brick bucket. Now all we need to see is what new product K-Mart is getting in :) I can already tell my wallet is going to take a hit (from BigW alone I want the red sports car plus anything they have at a good discount price)

The white gear came from set 8505 (a Throwbot set) and (according to Bricklink) also from a Belville clock.

Hopefully K-Mart or Big W gets the new Fire product, I wanna get me a Fire Station for parts :)

I see quite a few people who say "I saw some figs, didnt buy any, went back the next day and they were gone". The lesson from the roll-out (especially in the USA) is to BUY them the first time you see them, dont think "I will come back later and buy some".

I am only buying such minifigs as I want for my own collection. I dont believe in buying these things to resell and I think its the speculators (who for the most part dont seem to be genuine AFOLs) who buy whole boxes or clean out entire TRUs the moment the figs appear who are causing the shortages. Already got all the figs I am likely to want: Magician Cowboy Diver Clown Skater x 3 Astronaut x 2 Nurse x 2 Cheerleader x 2 Bring on series 2 (I need at least 3 of the surfer dude :)

Me, I hope they improve the building instruction generation so you can tweak it more (or so it will produce better BIs with the parts being added in more of a logical order than they are now)

I would say "Construction Site" as well unless you happen to really like orange or otherwise have specific bits from the Garage you want for your collection. I still regret buying the Garage (and paying what I did for it :)

Grain silo would be a perfect way to combine Trains and Farm, especially if there was a livestock car thrown in.

Which City sets did you see? Anything new? Anyone seen (or have a confirmed release date for) the fire stuff, yellow truck, pigs, or family house? (I have seen reports from various places but no confirmed date or whether any of this will appear in stock for the sales) Oh and if you want the Minifigs, try Toyworld at Whitfords or the Targets at Stirling Gate, Whitfords or Joondalup. Don't waste your time looking for the figs anywhere other than Target or Toyworld, you wont find them. Oh and for the guy who wants a MMV, dont bother, I have been to pretty much every target in the city in the last 6 months and there are NO MMVs anywhere.

I can confirm that I saw the Knights Showdown at Toyworld as of yesterday. Cant remember seeing the Prison Carriage Rescue but I may have missed it.

I managed to get the file imported into LDD after massaging the ldraw file and then manually adding missing parts in LDD (havent been able to get the minifig in there plus its missing the decoration for the white printed tile so I substituted with another printing) But the building instructions LDD generates are not very good. Is this just how LDD generates building instructions or is there some way I can massage the lxf file (e.g. moving parts around in LDD) to get better building instructions? I would try lpub but I cant get it to work on my machine for some wierd reason. Any tips to get some decent building instructions (either from the lxf file or the ldraw file) would be appreciated. I would also like to produce a parts-list (ala the one in most LEGO instructions) for this, is there a way I can do that? bus.zip

Has anyone seen any discounts on the Lunar Limo anywhere or do I have to hope someone has it on sale in the mid-year sales? (or pay RRP which is everyone seems to want for it) Also, some reports based on my trips today: Toyworld in Fremantle had LOTS of stock in their newly expanded store including: Kingdoms Space Police Train Station Passenger Train Fire Brigade Minifigs (saw a box behind the counter but that was it) I did see a "sale" sticker on a few items including the Passenger Train. No sign of any impulse sets anywhere that I could see. (or of a price on the Minifigs, didn't check since I have all the figs I want now) MYER in both Fremantle and Booragoon had various amounts of stock of the Fire Brigade, Flagship, Endor, 3 TS3 sets, Space Police and the Train Station. Fremantle also had an Emerald Night on the shelf (with a $150 price tag). Oh yeah both stores also had stock of the new cargo train (with a price tag of $300) but from the looks of the way it was displayed, its likely going to be part of the sale (and will be available for less than $300)

It seems like Toyworld is the place that seems to have the biggest stock of the Impulse sets (that's where I found my traveler and Atlantis Impulse sets)
