I think that the white bike is neat (although its going to cost a FORTUNE on BrickLink if you dont want the entire set) I REALLY love the new windscreen and hope it appears in Trans-Light-Blue and Trans-Smoke (Trans-Clear would be great too)

I like the new police stuff, only decision to make is whether to buy the police station or whether to buy the good bits on Bricklink. Although given that one of the best bits in the set (the white bike) is going to cost a fortune, it may be worth just buying the thing.

I mean the black dragon knights tower thing, not the castle.

No sign of S2 figs at Target in Morley. TRU had the public transport and a handful of S1 figs. MYER had stock of pretty much everything including Kingdoms. No sign of anything much at K-Mart. Has anyone seen any discounts on the Kingdoms dragon knights tower anywhere?

The Grand Emporium is reported to be hitting David Jones later in the year (November I think)

Has anyone heard any reports about the Court Jester impulse or will I need to buy online to get me one of those? As for all the sales and stuff, looks like I need to get to work early tomorrow (so I can leave early and hit Morley or Cannington with TRU, MYER, K-Mart and Target all in the one place). I just hope someone actually HAS stock of the Public Transport this time :) Maybe some S2 figs will show up in my travels also (although I doubt it if they are only just appearing in Melbourne)

According to the TRU catalog, there is a general 40% off all TS3 LEGO (including presumably the TRU-exclusive garbage truck) That price for the Garage isn't all that bad if you like the set (or if you like orange) Anyone who buys the City Fire Station from TRU at $111.99 is stupid when its available at MYER for $99 (the set is a GREAT buy though if you like fire, red parts or trans-light-blue parts :) Boo at no sales on the public transport (but I still want one even at $159.99 :)

I NEVER buy from eBay, only from BrickLink The chance that someone on Bricklink is a dodgy scammer rather than a genuine LEGO fan is much less (plus the stuff I am buying isn't the kind of thing a scammer is going to try and rip you off with, how many scammers are going to try and rip you off with an obscure printed part from a TownJr set for example)

Lets hope that at least one TRU store has stock of the Public Transport so I can pick one up after work on Thursday.

20% off at Target applies to all LEGO including the games. Inaloo had a fair bit of stock including quite a few copies of the Hogwarts game. (but none of the World Racers Jagged Jaws Reef which I wanted :( ) STILL no sign of the Public Transport here in the west. TRU at Inaloo had pretty much EVERYTHING else including the TRU truck plus a bunch of empty shelves (and unopened boxes) at the front of the store. (none of the unopened boxes were big enough to be the public transport) Did notice a LOT of the City Garage sets though None of the other 3 TRUs had the public transport (the guy at Inaloo looked up on the computer and then rung the other stores to confirm that they had no stock) The person on the phone at Morley (the only store I was able to ring up during my lunch break before my phone died) said something like "we dont have it in stock but its in the next catalog so we will have stock by then" (which I assume means its in the 15th September catalog reported on earlier in the thread

Has anyone seen the public transport over in the west yet? Might head to TRU on Thursday night (late night shopping) if one of them has it in stock...

Still no sign of the new TRU sets in the west (at Cannington anyway) K-Mart had a pile of new stock (including the new Atlantis sets plus the World Racers stuff) Kingdoms was available at either K-mart, Target or both (cant remember which) Someone was in TRU using the bar-codes to search the remaining amount of Series 1 figs. Target also had a handful of Series 1 figs left. If you still need more S1 figs to complete your collection (or if you want more of a specific fig for some reason) grab them when you see them as they are likely to get harder to find. No sign of Series 2 figs, the court jester impulse or the City House anywhere.

I dont think that LEGO would make such a model (due to the political sensitivities surrounding 9/11 and the WTC. What I COULD see TLG doing is a model of the NEW building for Ground Zero.

I seem to remember someone saying that you get to go into their element room and take a handful of one-of-a-kind parts.

No sign of the public transport at any local TRUs yet. One TRU did get a delivery but no public transport or TRU truck. One staff member said something like "from what I can see it hasn't appeared anywhere yet" (the thought to mention the Sydney sighting occurred only after I had made the phone call) If it wasnt for the time it takes to get here, I would just go ahead and order from Shop @ Home.

For some reason these make me think of the old cartoon Wacky Racers.

Its more expensive because its a TRU exclusive.

Even $159.99 isn't all that bad (and still $10 less than Shop @ Home) and still good enough to remain on my "if I see this I will buy it" list
