You need one of those wing shaped Honda logos (like the one I see on the real Honda bike shop I pass every day on my way to work) Other than that, it looks GREAT.

Interesting to note that the space sets follow on from the Shuttle Adventure set in terms of overall style (and in terms of logos/decorations) The new 2 x 2 round with ribs piece seems to come in red and in what looks like Light Bley in the large rocket set. The space shuttle has the tail from the current passenger jet but in white. The van thing has the new windscreen in trans-smoke (YAY, perfect for various car designs I have in mind :) New dog is great. White bike is GREAT, as is the variety in cops and bad guys and that crowbar (although I hope the final set has it in a color like black or dk bley and not red) Negative things: Lack of variety in headgear for the bad guys (why do all villians in LEGO City always wear the same knit cap?) Dogs in brown (why cant they do dogs in another color) Yet another sports car in red (why cant they do more city cars in colors other than red and yellow)

Anyone here know of a release date or AU prices for the new Harry Potter sets? I heard a rumor of $200 for the castle (if that's true, that's a total rip-off considering I can get a Grand Emporium with almost twice as many pieces for 50 bucks more. Guess a chunk of that $200 has to go to Warners and Rowling though) I WAS going to buy some of the HP sets for the figs and other good parts but if the $200 price is true (and the price for other sets falls in line), there is no way I will (just like I dont buy Star Wars anymore because of the "lucas tax" Rather save my money for the late-year release of the Grand Emporium at David Jones. EDIT: Just did some googling and found a price on the Mr.Toys site that seems to confirm the $200 price tag. Anyone know of a site in the US where I can buy LEGO (at US RRP or something close to it) with a VISA card (not PayPal) and have it shipped to Australia? -
Honda also sell portable generators, you could put one of those in the shop.

Adding a 9v motor to the tram seems like it would be difficult because the tram uses the tiny train wheels.

Lets hope these sets hit Australia soon (and that they dont cost a fortune when they do hit). I dont build Castle or Harry Potter but the figs contain a lot of generic torsos that are useful (jumpers, jackets etc) and the larger building sets (Burrows, Hagrids, Hogwats) contain lots of parts that are great for architectural detailing and things (maybe I can take all my Tan and turn it into a nice modular Moc of some sort like a bank) Does anyone have any good close-up pics of the figs from any of the sets other than the Castle (close up pics for that are in one of the reviews) or any of the new parts frmo the other sets (like the Mushrooms etc) An inventory (or pictures of the parts list page) for the Hogwarts Express and Hagrids Hut would also help me make decisions on what to buy :)

Anyone seen any good deals on the combine harvester? -
Nice job. Must try and see if I can build the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man in LEGO (although I dont have any mimes with which to do it)

Use "Knights Kingdom" Shields As Car Emblems?
jonwil replied to DLuders's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Whether it would look good depends on the car it is to go on. -

Is the snowboard new or is it the same as in the Gravity Games sets? -
If you have one, I would suggest the bike from the Indiana Jones Cemetary Battle as a display piece (I have no idea if Honda ever made bikes like that though)

Nice bike shop, do you have enough motorbikes to put into it?

The new 2 x 2 round fluted bricks from the columns look great and I can forsee quite a few train clubs adding said part to their next LUGBULK orders if they can...

I think some sort of heavy rocker (think AC/DC or metalica or the like) with an electric guitar accessory would be great. And would fit with what kids like and know (a beetles or elvis style rocker with acoustic guitar less so) -

Given that the entire fig is made in china, I doubt the head will come in a separate bag. The separate bag is used for parts that are made in china and then shipped to Denmark or wherever for packaging with other parts in the set (such as e.g. the motorbike from that one Indiana Jones set or the various Toy Story parts) -

The cargo train is larger than the passenger train. The passenger train has 657 parts whilst the cargo train has 822 parts. The cargo train includes more track (a pair of points and 8 straight tracks). -
Did anyone notice that they are using the Atlantis helmets in white with gold visors for the astronauts?

DJs here in Perth had nothing good as of Friday at any price. And I doubt DJs will have anything worth buying until the Grand Emporium shows up :) -

Given that I will likely be buying them from a retail store (and given that I spent time feeling the bags for both S1 and S2 for some of my purchases), I dont see any reason why I couldn't do the feel trick for S3. No reason to buy online if you can buy at retail :) Also, lots of groups are likely to buy a box between them, open all the bags and share them out (i.e. 3 people buying a box and taking one full set each plus whatever extras they want) -

I am sure the "feel the bag" trick will help you get the ones you want (for example, snowboarder will have snowboard, rapper will have ghetto blaster, baseball player will have baseball bat, tennis player will have tennis racket, fisherman will have fish, alien will have molded head etc) It worked just fine whilst trying to feel for S2 figs today so unless they change the packaging to make it stiffer/thicker (which I doubt they would do as it would make things more expensive) it should be fine. -

For those in WA wanting Minifigures S2, Target in Fremantle and Victoria Park both have plenty (no sealed boxes but plenty of stock). Actually bumped into another member of the local LEGO club at the Fremantle store :) Didn't see anything else worth buying (MYER in Fremantle didnt exactly have mountains of stock and none of what they had was worth buying at the prices they wanted for it IMO). No sign of the City House anywhere at all (one Toyworld employee said "We cant find it on our computer, the only items not yet available that we are getting in are the Harry Potter sets, it must not be comming out in Australia this year"). I suspect there are quite a few Toyworld manager types currently yelling at LEGO Australia to try and find out why the stock (which was promised weeks ago) hasn't arrived... Neat that the Court Jester has shown up at TRU but there is no way I will be able to find one (calling up TRU and asking wont help, there is no way the usual TRU employees would be able to find such a small set even if they DO have it) Might have to put in a Shop @ Home order to get a Jester, a Family House and maybe some other stuff like a City Advent Calendar. -
The castle calender is available in Australia aparently. You could try asking if anyone in .au wants to buy and ship you one...

Sign me up for the fisherman, tennis player, baseball player, alien, street boy (with the boom box), and (assuming the rumors are true), the Snowboarder (who may be one of the 3 that Masked Builder couldn't remember)
