  1. They could always make a series based on EP VII just like they did with the LEGO Movie.
  2. Definitely him. Although Brutaka, Icarax, and Mutran were also pretty cool.
  3. Nuparu (Inika) and Lewa (Phantoka) were definitely the coolest sets I have ever bought. Nuparu was always unique for an Onu-Matoran, but having a flying Toa of Earth was just the coolest. Lewa was just...Lewa, which pretty much says it all. I always liked Nikila and wished that they would have shown us more of Tuyet. I liked how they brought Tuyet back into the MU and were going to make her a main character before they left her
  4. What is the deal with Pohatu? His mask looks like it was redesigned and he is covered in white...it looks like they brought back the original brown only to kill it again. I do like the new Onua from what I can see of him. Does he have the same chest plate as the other Toa?
  5. It could be that they are just village guards. Not every Matoran has to fight. Is "Defender" the official English name or can it be translated as "Guard"?
  6. If this is a complete reboot, would they be required to change the names of the characters and their titles to avoid another Maori language controversy?
  7. ^ The image we have now seems to imply that Tahu will have his Nuva Mask. I hope they might combine of the Toa's past forms to produce a new variant with the best parts of each.
  8. Thanks for posting this!
  9. I mentioned that on the previous page as a far out possibilty, but, now that I know it could be possible, I actually would rather that they be Matoran than Turaga. A Jaller reboot would be awesome...
  10. Well, he wasn't all that old before 03. If you look at his set art, and the way he carries himself in the Templar animations, he's always upright, carrying his staff by the end of the pole. It's just the movies that turned the Turaga into old geezers. And then did the same with the Rahaga. And Raanu. It was especially ridiculous with the first two. The Metru go from being new Toa in the prime of their existence to crochety old men (and one woman) in two seconds, complete with vocal change. The Rahaga do the same, and then turn back later. He is incredibly old. They were on Mata Nui for a thousand years before the Toa came, he was a Toa before that, and a Matoran for a long time before that. However, I do agree that the movies messed up. I always wondered about Matau and Iruini...
  11. What if the "Defender" characters are actually the Turaga and not Matoran? That would open up a lot of new possibilities, whether they continue the story or have a reboot.
  12. If that is the entire set, I'm guessing it will be between $15-20. Surprisingly, I would be very happy if they made Shaquille O'Neal's basketball catapult. It got even more film time than Thunder and Lloyd! Or they can make a small set of
  13. Now that you mention it, I did focus more on the story. Maybe they should sell the deeper mythology as separate comics this go round and keep the simple comic in the LEGO Magazine. That way kids could still understand it while those of us who want to know more have a means to do so. Exactly. EDIT: They could emulate the Ninjago comics that are out now. Extended story not necessarily needed for the mainstream story.
  14. Incredible! Can you post an updated picture in a few months when the new minifigs come out?
  15. The only time I've been looking foward to getting a certain minifigure and he's a hard to get exclusive... never happened to me before, but I now understand why this annoys everyone! However, I have heard a rumor (I forget where I heard it) that we might see The Collector in a future Avengers movie due to the Infinity Gems. I hope this is just like Azog and just a preview variant for a future release of the character.
  16. Sort of related...Does anyone know how well HF is selling? I recently walked into a store and found they were still selling HF wave one...from Brain Attack!
  17. I just remember from one of the story serials that they were described as looking a lot like an Agori, although now I remember the graphic novel showing that they were really tall. So I really don't know what these "Defenders" are.
  18. If I remember correctly, weren't the Elemental Lords the size of an Agori? Not sure what to make of all of this.
  19. They could just keep the basics of the original storyline (masks, elements, matoran-toa-turaga) and then progress from there. I'm underwhelmed by that name. And he was called just Makuta because all the other ones were dead except for the alternate Teridax that Makuta only learned about shortly before he was destroyed.
  20. Bionicle Story is offline now! When did that happen? I just checked within the past few months and it was there! It was never updated, but it still hinted that LEGO wasn't going to give up on Bionicle. Maybe Lego removed that blog post because they simply think most people have stopped consistently begging for it all the time. I mean, they don't have a "Jack Stone will not be returning" because no one actually begs for that to come back. Maybe LEGO doesn't see the need to acknowledge it anymore. However, due to Zenerius' list, I hope this is not true.
  21. Zenerius, I have another one for your list: If this was a hoax using MOCs, someone also must have putt a lot of work into designing the packaging. There is so much detail all over the packaging and display! The packaging ribbon for each size group is identical, but the set backgrounds are all very different. The cap designs aren't reused anywhere else in the image. Oh, I also spotted another few HF shells on the bottom one.
  22. I can see how you thought they were killed. The Mahri came so close.
  23. That sounds really cool. I'm getting more and more exited!
  24. When did they all die? Makuta sent them to fix some of the damage Mata Nui unleashed on his body during their fight. The Mahri didn't manage to nab them all. Are you saying that they all died when Makuta died? That would definitely be awesome. However, it looks like these sets are rehashes of previous sets (Tahu, Takanuva, someone thought they saw Gresh).
