  1. Nice job, the colour is a perfect match to the real thing!
  2. Nice job, this set is next on my list of gotta haves...haha..
  3. Nice start to the renovation! I have thought about it too, to have an unhaunted version, it will look great! I would want to add a full height tower room to it, that would look quite nice also.
  4. I like this too, but I wonder if I would do the grafitti on my own bricks..haha, I don't think I could bring my self to do that!
  5. I like the PR set, its nice, and has a lot crammed into it. My only criticism, is that it is too shallow, I would of liked it to have a little more depth to make the dining room larger as well as the apartment and studio above. I think it is the way it is perhaps because more depth would of made the roof too large. Oh well, its great as it is. I think I will keep mine at the end of the street, with nothing on the stairway side, so its more visible. If I add another building to that side, I will leave some space for an alley along side.
  6. Right now, I just noticed on shop.lego.com, most of the modulars are on back order, just TH and PR are available. I wonder if that says anything about which are most popular sellers. Hard to say. I'm sure the price is a big factor, both of those are the priciest sets. As for my wishlist for future sets, I would like to see a shop row, 2 or 3, with flats upstairs, with one of the spaces being a post office. It should have a loading dock space on the back, come with a delivery truck, signs, and be 3 levels too. Something transport related would be nice also, a bus station or train station. Something with arches, maybe a drive through space for the bus to enter... My list could be endless I think! Haha! Library, police, museum....
  7. I was wondering if others were buying a lot to get the 2X VIP points...I know I was. I already have the current list of modulars, and wanted to get the Fire Brigade, so bought it from Amazon, paying about double the original price. I ended up with one of the sets that has a missing bag of parts, and am currently waiting for Lego to send me the missing bits. 102 pieces! I have also purchased the Maersk Triple E ship, Tower Bridge, Haunted House, and Brandenburg Gate (for a gift to give someone) to earn the double points. (I got a good tax refund too!) I wanted to get the City 'Town Square' set too, to add the bus and other vehicles to my modular sets, but it went backorder before I could order it! Oh well, I will wait and use some of the points for it...
  8. bak318, can you tell me which parts you used to build your door? The parts to attach to the floor, I cannot see from the image. Thanks!
  9. Thanks for this tip, and I got it to work, but what I need to do is put the ball end of the pin into the center hole of the turntable plate (even with a holder plate in place), it is a round hole, not a cross pin, but it still refuses to accept the ball end into the hole..frustrating! Here is another view of what I have. It must be some sort of glitch.
  10. Hi, I have been trying to build a revolving door to put into a building I am designing. I am using the technique used in the entrance to the Grand Emporium modular building set. So far, I have built my door, using the same parts specified in the GE build, only difference is I am making mine narrower. I placed the turntable base plate on the floor of my entrance, and try to place the door into the center hole, but it won't let me do it. it just ghosts over the spot, and no amount of aligning/rotating the view will it allow it. It seems to be clinging to the ground plane, though it will let me raise it up and stick onto the top of a wall. I have the door assembly grouped so I can grab it as a single unit to move around. Any ideas on how to do this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! This is an image of what I am talking about.
