What is your least favorite HF/Bionicle/Slizers set?
DuckBricks replied to Zenerius's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Aquagon was pretty horrible and was the epitome of standardized builds for HF... At least Evo Walker had nice parts... -
In other news, a cam job of episode 48 was released today entitled "Temple on the Haunted Hill" that, while I won't go into too much detail to avoid spoilers, featured heavily a temple belonging to the ghost of Sensei Yang. Here's a shot of it during daylight: And a shot of it while Sensei Yang prevents the ninja from exiting by opening a ghost void underneath it (Or something...). There isn't a color scheme change, just lighting change: I think that we can safely say that this temple is most likely the temple D2C set coming out later this year, and it will most likely include Sensei Yang, his students, and

This is especially sad for me as I happen to share names with him (no kidding, my name is Christopher Lee)... He was a great actor and will be missed greatly.

Perhaps you could make one as it's free? Thanks much!!! Also, Clouse's face looks weird and odd in those compared to the animations...- 4,591 replies

Hrm... Did they explicitly state construction sets? Perhaps an Angry Birds CMF series would be viable, although there's not nearly enough characters in the app for 16 unique birds, unless they introduce more for the movie or make variants...

These all look pretty great, except for some early Minifigs. I really like the concert Fire vs ice figs though; they look stunning! Saving them to my iPhone reveals the exact date and time these were made... I love how the 2013 sets and figs are dated to 2011 (when they presumably started working in the line) and the 2014 set concepts are from 2012... It seems like the legend beasts went through different design phases, some portraying them as robots and some as completely organic animals. I have to say, while the robot lion that gets up on two legs (in the two steps picture) looks pretty awesome, it also looks like a bad guy creature. It's actually quite scary! I just hope Ninjago gets something like this, but it would probably only happen if (gasp!) Ninjago were to end...

Any chance you could give us a decent recording (not a cam job) now that Curtis Cheung is afraid of copyright strike?- 4,591 replies

With all the obscure tribes, I wouldn't be surprised if we got tribes based on the more obscure Bionicle elements, like plasma and magnetism... Hmm... I imagine red and blue magnet Mixels now. Not sure how good those would look aesthetically though...

Agreed, the shark wouldn't look out of place as a Takea shark...

It should be ready by Tuesday, sorry as I've been busy.

Favorite Ninjago Vehicle?
DuckBricks replied to DuckBricks's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
It premiered as a villain vehicle, so I'm leaving it as such... Ronin's more neutral, but there's not enough significant neutral vehicles to make a new category... -
With all the dinosaur talk in the Bionicle forum, it got me thinking that dinosaur Mixels may be very viable... Although they would all have to be one main color for the tribe... I'm guessing either brownish red or green?

Brilliant, especially with limited parts!

This has most likely been mentioned, but Metru colors for CCBS shells please! He already have (limited amounts) of Metru green and red, so why not the whole gamut? Or at least Metru blue... I just want more shells in Metru colors...

Think Episode 3.... With that title the book will probably be as dark as episode 3, calling it now, Tahu dies... ;)

It reminds me of Ninjago, where the few female characters all have some sort of relationship with the (abundant) male characters... It's just the other way around.

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
DuckBricks replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
... Did you just say that? Anyway, I think there is a small possibility that Ronin has a son, and that son is Kai. How do we know the elemental master of Fire in episode 40 is Kai's father? It could be his grandfather or even great grandfather, or even another relative. After all, the elemental master of earth looked nothing like Lou. Lots of people are saying that Kai cannot be Ronin's son as Ronin and the MOF in Ep40 look nothing alike, but that may be due to the fact that they're two different people.- 4,591 replies

Oh, of course not, I have an app for screen recording. I assume you only care for the comics, not the games?
