Same! I am a purist about using only LEGO though, so I might be a bit biased against Kreo and M*ga Blo**s

Oh yeah, it does! I was wondering why I was feeling some déjà vu! ;)

The Eurobricks Reviewers Academy
DuckBricks replied to Bonaparte's topic in Forum Information and Help
Hi Whitefang, First of all, thanks you so much for accepting me! First of all (in case there was any misunderstanding) I had a typo in my previous post, I am still just a TFOL! :) in case that matters... Anyway, I am new to Eurobricks and you mentioned that I need to discussy intended sets inside the academy discussion thread... Could you give a link please? Or do I start a new topic? When I get my first review done, do I post it as a new topic, or how does it work? Thanks for answering my questions in advance (or linking me to a topic that tells me) Legozebra -
Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
DuckBricks replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Pythor is back! Well, this is a surprising plot twist! Or perhaps just the other Serpentine, as Pythor was eaten (I'm alluding to the "old enemy"). The game description does say battle Pythor, but why would they be fighting him if he is helping them? Perhaps the game isn't canon... And where did the Elemental blades go?!?!- 4,591 replies

The LEGO Movie Video Game Discussion
DuckBricks replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Anyone else having a PC glitch on the Wild West fight with Not-a-Robot level? On the zipline to get to the checkpoint my character keeps failing to jump on the line and suiciding... And he is automatically jumping and I cannot control him... -
Nice job! First introduced to you on New Elementary! Keep up the Blacktron stuff, my favorite theme! Great job!

Hey guys, I am new so do not know how to do spoiler tags, so I will just put a huge gap between this and then next things I will say. If someone can teach me it would be much appreciated :) SPOILERS Did anyone see that French kid's post on the Lego Message Boards? He seems to have summaries (in broken English) of this entire series! Lavertus dies -- I can't believe it! At first I doubted but after seeing the first 2 episodes on TV and the first four in a foreign language (Japanese) on the LEGO Youtube channel, I think he's right!

At first site, I completely hated this show. However, it began to make its presence known on LEGO.com, and I rewatched all the videos twice and I must admit it is kind of growing on me. I don't like it nearly as much as Chima, Ninjago, or Bionicle, that actually had decent storylines (Bionicle with a GREAT storyline), but I understand not much budget was put into a storyline for a show about $5 sets :) It is intended to be a comedy however, and some of the sounds they make are absolutely hilarious! Keep it coming, LEGO!

I entered the Brick Fanatics competition for that polybag, wish me luck! Thanks! EDIT: Too bad, I lost... Oh well! Looks like I'll just spend $15 at their store for it :)

How do you store your instructions?
DuckBricks replied to ResIpsaLoquitur's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I sorted my manuals by theme and year back in 2009, but afterwards I have been really lazy and just shoved them into a big bin... Guess my summer break is planned out :) -
I was extremely lucky to have an awesome cousin who (luckily for me) went into his dark ages and gave me his entire LEGO collection! There was classic space stuff in there! Anyway, I was young and just starting off at LEGO and my very first MOC was a minifig standing on a bunch of BURPs. I tried to keep all my old childhood MOCS together for memories, unless I really needed a part... Sorry spaceship with 7 trans-green Bionicle Miru masks as wings... :) Sorry for reminiscing, but just some few tips as stated earlier: don't start big, first gain techniques from sets (I admit I was MOC free for about 12 years of my LEGO love besides random bits.) and trust your feelings in building! I know it sounds cliche-ish but it has helped me a lot! And nice first MOC! Certainly better than my first! :)

Just yesterday I saw a toddler reach into the Duplo parts bin at the LEGO store and just let it all dump out on the floor! I admit to having had to restrain myself from laughing when I saw the employee's face! It caused such a ruckus!

Hi guys, I saw a Crazy Store Markup Story thread by Montante recently, and was wondering: has anyone seen the opposite, where a set is ridiculously marked down? I certainly have! Just in February I saw (and bought) a 2001 Tahu sealed in canister for $5 at a collectibles store! How about you? -legozebra

Hi! Just making sure, (as I am new) I have to make 100 posts in order to be able to make topics here? Thanks! legozebra PS These posts include reviews, right? Thanks!

Sacrilegious! Blasphemy! Walmart rant
DuckBricks replied to Lego Otaku's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
How atrocious! I have seen similar stuff at my local target, even with a box of the LEGO Movie figs stuffed with some M*ga B**ks junk! I informed the salesperson but he seemed to not really care and said "aren't they the same thing anyway?" Needless to say I was pretty irritated but let it go. :) -
Anyone interested in a loose 3724 Dragon?
DuckBricks replied to nicoga3000's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I'm a bit interested... how much are you selling it for? -
Oh man!!!!!! I found it (w/o minifigs) for $100 and passed it up as I thought it was too expensive! (Kicking myself right now :) )
-
Found Tahu (2001) for $5, The Exo-Force Robot Roller (with big green wheels, not official name) for $50, and best of all the Bionicle Powerpack (with CD and Chrome Hau) for $10!!!!! Found at a Bartells Drugstore, if anyone knows what that is... Probably my best find, not daring to get my hopes up for another find like this. legozebra PS I found a Yellow Castle at a collectibles shop for $100, but it had no minifigs and I thought the price was a bit steep so I passed it up... Good or bad choice? I kinda regret it now as I found it on vacation :(

Very impressive! I didn't even notice it was a vehicle until someone mentioned a cockpit! Very subtle yet cool!

Best computer spec?
DuckBricks replied to grum64's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Good evening, I do a lot of LDD and video editing (green screen with Premiere Pro, After Effects etc) and am a very serious film-maker. Unfortunately, I use a Macbook Pro Retina Display, and I will have to say overall Macs are the best computer for your criteria... Thanks, legozebra -
Pi$$ed at eBay .... sorry .. puZZled with eBay
DuckBricks replied to DrJB's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I understand! I was bidding for a Blacktron set and within a minute of closing a user put in $1 above mine!!! Kinda similar in that the user's username that outbid me had only 2 letter differences between his past one... Same person/relative maybe?? -
Crazy Store Markup Stories

I went on a trip to the Philippines and (sorry no pics) saw a 2008 AT-TE for about $500 USD! -
New custom heraldry shields from BrickForge.
DuckBricks replied to Quickblade22's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Nice! Really digging the Black Falcon and Dragon Master ones! The shields that LEGO has produced so far have not been exactly accurate so nice to see some accurate ones... -

@Ridge Montante Thanks! Yes, this store is truly very cool! Best of all, their bionicles are all only $5! Here's their site: http://bricksandminifigs.com/ And yes, they use "Legos" (with the dreaded "S!") but they sell enough stuff to make me forgive them. For now. :) @lego3364 and Leo Crimson Thanks for the warm welcome guys (and gals)!
