  1. I got the smallest of the Crystal Skull Indy sets. So many accessories! Silver frying pan, banana, chicken leg, 2 knives, 3 cutlasses, a golden katana, 2 new hairpieces, a tent, some foliage, all for a nice cheap price! A great set IMO. ~Peace
  2. Oh boy, this guy sure is... what's the word... uh, I can't think of something foul enough to describe him... Vote: Hinckley. Happy now, traitorous scum? OOC: I was about to edit my post and make it bold, but then remembered the rules. Thanks for your friendly reminder!
  3. Wow, thanks Batbrick! This is truely awesome! The overall look of it is awesome, a wonderful representation of my sig-fig and my love for Rock Raiders through a big, sturdy mining mech! The legs are awesome (don't ask why I'm starting at the legs... ), nicely covering up the joints, keeping smooth and SNOTy, and being good and bulky to support the rest of the mech. The torso is sweet, nicely representing Jet's Rock Raider's torso and lookin' snazzy in that colour scheme, especially with those new slope pieces. I love the inclusion of that striped road barricade 4x1 piece, it fits in so nicely and gives it that heavy duty feel. I also love how you've added that detailing onto the shoulder joint piece with the technic pin holes, they smooth it off and add to the awesomeness, and the little pressure gauges add to the technical look. Even the back looks sweet, you've really done a great job here! The cockpit is also neat, with a wide view range, easy access, a nifty little control system and a smooth top. I also love the spiked 1x4 plates, they are neat. The digger arm looks nice and strong, great for clearing away rubble and keeping to that delicious blue/yellow/grey colour scheme. Also good for whacking the megabloks outta my enemies! The robot arm is wonderful, with that dark grey colouring just like my sig-fig, again, nice and smooth, thick and strong, SNOTy, and with a wicked cool clamp hand! I love it! Thanks again buddy, this is just too awesome! :cry_happy: Thanks! Peace ~iamhappy
  4. Vote: Hinckley. I will not listen to another word from this blasphemous fool, I don't see any reason to not vote against him, and I think those who stand up for him certainly aren't faithful to the Government. Now, what's for breakfast? I think I'll have a break from fish for the while, what with having nothing but it for the past few days.
  5. I saw this a couple of days ago, but haven't had the time to reply! So here we go. This is a great MOC mate, and even though I saw it when it was half built, it still amazes me! The tavern is great, darn awesome actually, I love the tan colour scheme with the black support beam things. The cliff face is awesome, great job using all those bricks to their full potential! The bridge is also very cool, I love the lion head details on the side, and those 2x2 sloped slope pieces on the crenelations. The minifig placement is also very cool, complimenting the awesome build with a fantastic action scene! You gotta love those trolls. Well, you've done a great job here, and I'm lookin' forward to seeing the next MOC you create! ~Peace
  6. Aw, thanks everyone! Very much! It's been a great day, LANing all last night (I know, how geeky... ) and then watching some DVD's today (Reno 911, Tenacious D: Pick of Destiny, American Pie: Beta House) before seeing Iron Man on the big screen. So all in all a great day, racking up 72 dollars and a box of my mates old Lego. Haha, give it another couple of years. Thanks again everyone! Peace ~iamded
  7. Awesome review Batbrick! I don't see any appeal at all really in this set, but that's okay, as I want to stick to Castle anyway. The car is the best part IMO, which you can get in a different set with another cool car and for a cheaper price. But the main downfall to this set is the fact that the truck's trailer is half blown up and the survivors are magically staying inside and not being sucked right out of there, as you have mentioned. I would have thought TLC would at least included some sort of cover that you could take on and off easily (kind of like the modular buildings). Having said all that though, the front of the truck does look incredibly cool, and those minifigs are sweet. Too bad they all have flesh tone printed on them. So, while this may not be my set of choice, I can see the appeal... well, really I can't, but it's just my opinion! I'm sure there are plenty others who would love to scoop this set up. ~Peace
  8. Happy Birthday ExoBuilder! Hope you had a great one! Isn't May great? ~Peace
  9. Blech, Legos... what is that? I grew up with Lego, and never refer to them as Legos. I also like to correct people if they get it wrong too. ~Peace
  10. It's just so brutal how they've supported the car with the person! It's like the car's been in a terrible accident and mangled the poor fellow! And Hinckley, when you say stacked, do you mean, like, the ships were stacked on top of each other? Wouldn't they break? ~Peace
  11. Wow, that's awesome! First I saw the clever use of the hand-cuffs, then I saw the Batarangs, and those Bat wings fit in lovely to top it all off. Clever uses of parts that hold together a great MOC! ~Peace
  12. Adym was shocked to hear the footsteps he had been following disappear. Where could they have gone? Did the guys vanish? He quickly yet silently scrambled down the steps, glancing through the dimness to see the two bulky men standing by a cell. Oh of course. The footsteps stopped, because the people stopped, not because they vanished. That makes sense. The men muttered a few words, before turning and heading back to the stairs. Oh shoot! thought Adym. Damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn... He backed up the stairs, moving as quickly as he could, but one of the hulking thugs saw him, then yelled out before giving chase. Adym started to run, but the burly blokes were gaining on him. Suddenly, Adym turned and sent a punch flying into one of the guys heads, who then fell to the ground with a reverberating thud. The other bloke stared in disbelief at his buddy, then stared at Adym with murderous hate. He lunged his fist towards Adym, who dodged to the side and smashed his fist into the attacker's kidney. He fell to the ground in agony, before Adym whacked him on the head. With the two guards knocked out, Adym rushed down to the cell. Grim was standing up gripping the bars, he had been peering through wondering what was going on up the stairs, and was delighted to see Adym. Hey Grim, lemme get you outta there, and then you'll tell me what happened while we go to Ragnar. He have to tell Dragonator about this, and then we'll see to the King. Adym sympathetically glanced at the servants. Don't worry, I'll get you guys out too, but can you hang on five minutes? We really need to let Lord Dragonator what's goin' on. Adym bent the bars out of the way so that Grim could just squeeze through, then they started up the stairs, Grim kicking the guards as they passed their unconscious bodies.
  13. I wouldn't say re-introduction, as these are new shark moulds. But you're right in that we're getting sharks back! I actually like these sets, mainly because of the new pieces really. I'll be getting that Jet-pack set for the robot arm, and maybe the Swamp set for that new helmet, the crocs, and those sweet new barbed wire loops. ~Peace

    Moc:

That is one snazzy little car! In a way (being the fact it has 3 wheels ) it reminds me of the blue car from Mr Bean. I love how you've done the side mirrors, and those MF parts look neat on it! However, next time you may want to resize those pics, as large pics can deter viewers... ~Peace
  15. I didn't see this here (well, on the front page... ) so I thought I'd share it. Sorry if it's old news. And I mean the set on the right. I've heard about it, just not seen a pic of it until now. ~Peace
  16. Truely sorry if this has been posted before, I know the Kayak has, but the Street Sweeper pic is new to me. ~Peace
  17. Ooh, instructions! Thanks Klaus-Dieter! The witch looks to be very much the same in the Chess Set and Advent Calendar, but we can't be too sure until we get better pics of the Calendar. Oh hey, look! New Mars Mission Impulse, and more City ones! Cool! ~Peace
  18. L7 Dragon's Keep, Adyn's Qua- er, no, the Hallway, wait, no, up the stai-, uh, no, along the passage, no, well, you'll get the idea... Adym was running through the Castle barely following the echoing sound of Grim's voice. He neared the King's Throne Room, and heard Grim yell something, followed by the echoes of a chilling voice. He rushed along just in time to see Grim being dragged away by a couple of muscle-heads. Well, what the heck is going on here? Did I leave something somewhere? Have I been uncovered? Adym quickly checked his satchel to find everything safely tucked away. Hmm. Well Grim still looks to be in trouble, so I should help him. As the footsteps faded, Adym rushed to the corner, keeping track of where the men were taking Grim, but still keeping out of sight, following them around corners and through doors. This was all very intense and confusing for Adym, who wondered if it would be easier to just punch the guys. But no, he'd leave that for a last resort. He'd gotten away with keeping his shining gauntlet clean so far, and didn't want to push his luck. Stains are hard to remove you know...
  19. That's one sweet sword! I love the handle detail, and the fact that it's made of Lego! But those are some massive pics. ~Peace
  20. Those are awesome! Are they Kashykk trooper legs too? Great body selection for an army, and fantastic photography too! Those BrickArms weapons make them look all the more cooler, as does those knives. Are those from the new Indy set or is there an easier way to get them? ~Peace
  21. That's great! The cart looks really cool, fits in well with the older style and flowery surroundings! The posts on the cart look nice and detailed, I was convinced they weren't actually Lego when I first saw them. The perfumes are neat, but is that cheese? I think it would make more sense if they were soap or something. Overall a great scene, very ironic, and the skunk looks neat! ~Peace
  22. Oh dear! I feel awful about condemning poor Tiny Pius now! We now know we cannot always believe the court will pull through to find the truly innocent innocent! His death will not go unpunished, I can say that now. I still feel awful that I let that Aventine scoundrel warp my mind like that. However, once we take him out, the Aventine Hill Pleb's won't have a leader, and we will stand a far greater chance to prevail for good. And least that infidel Pencoin got what he deserved, and the Government is another step ahead. Oh, and for tomorrow, vote: Hinckley. That confession truely was convincing, and I'm sure this time it wasn't lies. You shall be avenged, Tiny Pius!
  23. I don't know how you made that sheep, but it certainly looks great, as does the scene as a whole. Great job, lookin' forward to future MOCs! ~Peace
  24. What a (now I'm wanting to say sweet or cute here, but that may detract from my manliness ) cool little set, I really like that pickaxe! The axe is sweet, we've all seen that with the Gammorean guard, but the pickaxe could cause some serious damage when wielded by a minifig! I love those Fabuland weapons. The minifig's neat too, the only Bulldog I was familiar with was Copmike, I never actually knew or guessed there would be other ones. ~Peace
  25. Well then, thank you Sinner! 'Preciate the work. I thought you just asked in that thread to get tagged... As for removing the tags, you can take mine, in fact don't even re-call asking, and it detracts from my Castle fan image. Kind of. Though it is awful cute... ~Peace
