  1. Or not. There are six legs, 2 antennae, and 2 mandible. And they most definately are ants, to those still in doubt. Thanks for this great review, Alex, this is most definately (well, in my opinion anyway) the best set. Lets face it, in motorcycle chase you really only got 2 bikes and 2 crates as the big parts of the set. In this one, which is the same price, you get those ants, a neat tent (Hurray!), a printed[/i] map, a chicken leg, a Castle sword, EF sword, and Pirates sword, a dagger (now in light bley) and a silver frying pan. This set is packed with useful pieces, I'm definately getting this one. And I for one love Mutt's hair piece. I sense my sig-fig will soon have a new hair style. Thanks again Alex for the sweet review! ~Peace
  2. Sweet review again, Alex! Great pictures, I loved the little comic with the croc. You're quite right here too: Without the gun, that vehicle is a nice little amphibious car with a tent (I assume) strapped to it, some tools, a spare tire... The little tree hut is quite cool, and a nice touch with the box in behind there. I love the design for those gasoline cans too. Thanks again, Alex! You're lucky to be getting these sets! ~Peace
  3. Thanks for this fantastic review, Alex! Those trees are a neat add on to any jungle, as is that sweet cave. But the main part of this set, the Jungle Cutter, man, that is wicked! Packed with that awesome dark green and with those wonderful treads, not to mention the smoothly spinning buzz saws. However, this set's a tad overpriced in my opinion, and looking through the instructions they have that crazy colour syndrome again, using blue, yellow and red parts in the internal build. Still, thanks for this sweet review with neat pics! *thumbup* ~Peace

    Riot!

Thanks Calvin! No, not a bottle bank, a clothes store. You can't really see, but there's a shirt and a pair of pants on display. You get a better view here. Thanks Nikola! Thank you very much, Basilicus! Yes, you were right in the construction of the baton. I thought they were more commonly known as Exo-force robot hands. I got the black one from the evil Wizard's staff from the Castle line. Thanks Asuka! ~Peace
  5. Hehehe! The lack of skill these guys have, honestly, I'm just glad they're not under my control. ~Peace
  6. Adym happily followed the servant to the kitchens. After a delicious meal, he followed the servant up to his quarters, ready to jot down all the thoughts and diagrams he had in his head. He shot a quick thank you to the servant, who turned and left, closing the door behind him. Adym spotted a key on the desk, with which he locked the door, before sitting down. Ah, now with no disturbances, a full stomach, and all the equipment he needed, he was ready to start. He jotted down his plans on the papers provided, and after a few hours had pages inked with descriptions, diagrams, equations, and random doodles. Ah! yelled Adym suddenly. He rushed to the door, quickly unlocking it, and rushed down to the exit, pocketing the key on the way. I completely forgot about my DMC, he said as he rushed past a servant, who continued about his business wondering what on Earth a 'Dee Em See' was... He finally reached the door he had come in from and jogged outside. Whew, it's still there, nothings gone, all right! He jumped into the seat, started the machine up, and drove it round to the stables, where he parked it in a free space under cover. Okay, now, park DMC, check. Have a hot meal, check. Draw plans and put somewhere safe, che- oh. Wait. Adym grabbed his satchel and bag rushed back into the Castle, up the stairs, and into his room. All was well, everything was where he had left it. Huh. I guess this is a lot different to home. I really don't need to panic around here. Well, that's good then. Hm. Back to designing, I guess. No, wait, I've done what I need today, now I need to test something out. But I need equipment. Adym wandered around until he found a servant. Oh, hello, er, I was wondering if you could direct me to Lord Dragonator's quarters, I know he's busy, but I just need to ask him something. Certainly, sir. replied the servant. Follow me, please. Adym followed the servant through the hallways until he reached a room labelled 'Lord Dragonator's Quarters'. He knocked on the door, and waited for a reply. Lord Dragonator, it's me, Adym. There's just one more thing I need to sort out...
  7. Well I can't wait to get Dwarves with beards that come in more colours than red! Not to mention those spiffy dark tan trolls, and those trolls with the... old... helmet... Ah well. Still, Dwarves Mine looks so cool, I want it! ~Peace

    Riot!

Thanks LuxorV! Yep, that sure is. ~Peace
  9. Even black? Really though, that's one sweet decal, sharp and snazzy. I wonder how well it would stand out on a dark blue suit. It actually would make a good Super-hero outfit. Great job! ~Peace

    Riot!

Thanks Flatfoot and dragonator! I'm really happy with the road and zebra crossing. Whoever thought of that technique is a genius! ~Peace
  11. Thanks for this review, Nikola! That's one great set, another that I've messed with whilst staying at dragonator's place. Very neat indeed. It's strange though, in this picture the lower hinge piece looks like it's light bley, instead of grey like everything else. I assume that's just from the lighting? ~Peace
  12. Those look fantastic! You've really nailed Doc's face, and that looks lik it would be the hardest to do. Great job! ~Peace
  13. Heh, not Saw. Saw 2. I'm sure I've read some of Frank Perretti's books, when I was younger though, ones like The Tombs of Anak and Trapped at the Bottom of the Sea, along with a few more. I thoroughly enjoyed those books, I'll be sure to get House if ever I see it! ~Peace
  14. Wow, I sure am late to this discussion! Thanks for the great review, , that is one sweet Hailfire Droid, quite underscaled, but still sweet. That Spider Droid is also neat, I love the leg construction. It's a bit too overpriced for me, but still, thanks again for the review! ~Peace
  15. Well actually, that shouldn't be a capitol 'o'. This is a neat and funny comic you got here, alexandertam! Great job! ~Peace
  16. That's sweet! And I thought just the one was cool. Excellent job, that looks fantastic! ~Peace
  17. See? That's what I was getting at. ~Peace

    Riot!

So, with today off, I decided to make a MOC. I got the idea when I was in bed last night. I think, I can't really remember, maybe I've been playing too much Postal2, maybe it has something to do with finding a Torro brick in my box of free Bionicle, either way, it's a good reason to try out the SNOT road technique. A few of the people are protesting against clone bricks, a few are running from the chaos, but most are just rioting. BOOM! Well,I promised fire, didn't I? Mr Molotov strikes again. Oh look, it's that statue again. This time in the overgrown, unkempt park. Oh yeah, and the protestors/rioters/fleeing citizens in the background. Oh good, the Police have arrived, with guns and those whacky batons! The yellow shop is trhe well known "Guns" gun store, for all your zombie hunting needs and more! The other shop is the infamous fashion clothing store, "20". Keeping minifigs trendy since y2K! More photos and such in my brickshelf gallery. Enjoy, comments and criticism appreciated! ~Peace
  19. Bloody hot zombie chicks? Uh, yay!? Anywho, this is neat, simple little vig, good choice of parts for the minifigs. With only four parts, this has to be the smallest neat looking scene ever! ~Peace
  20. Man, I completely forgot about that site. Before I found Eurobricks, that was my source of sweet set reviews. Thanks for the link. Image from MillionariePlayboy.com. ~Peace
  21. Honestly, I did not see that coming. Neat ending though, does this have anything to do with that thread about how the American Indian theme wasn't that popular, and how they could be re-released as allies to the US Soldiers, like in that playmobil set? I bet it does. ~Peace
  22. Yes... join the Castle side! I know what you mean though, when I first got that set, as well as my first Dwarf, I was so happy! That Dwarf is awesome, and the catapult is pretty sweet, I can see that machine munching through hordes of skellies. ~Peace
  23. The prices are quite steep in my opinion. I mean, for Jungle Cutter, you get a sweet tree-harvester tank thing, with bonus exploding fun, a few trees, and a hidden box of tools in a cave. But is it really worth 90 NZD? Really? I mean, that's heaps. It's like, hmm, let's see, the same as a Tower Raid and two Dwarf Mine Defenders! I'd rather go for the latter option. Of the new Indy sets, I'll only be getting the cheapest (yet still quite expensive for it's contents, same as Motorcycle Chase) set, for that wicked tent, weapon rack, and new hair pieces. ~Peace
  24. L7 Dragons Keep; Ragnir's Accommodation Adym couldn't help but grin. Things were going great for him, Lord Dragonator was nicer than he looked, although Adym wouldn't want to be against him. Thank you, Lord Dragonator. I think I shall stay here, that way if anyone tries to attack the place, I can help defend. Actually, that would be good to test my fire throwing contraption... Anyway, I better put my Mechanical Cart away, I don't want to draw any suspicion from the townsmen. Then I'll jot down a few plans I have in my head... Adym's stomach rumbled hungrily... And then I could go for a nice meal, before starting up the planning again, laughed Adym. I'll be sure to pass any updates on to you through Ragnar after you leave, and I look forward to getting to know Grim more. Do you know how long you will be gone for?
  25. Weapons? That things built like a brick, and if you throw a brick at a Joker-copter, it'll do some damage. Especially one that big. And when I say built like a brick, I don't mean square, I mean solid and tough. It has a nice curvy body too, which is neat. The second plane is snazzy, looks like it can zip around pretty fast hailing laser blasts down on it's opponents. Fun! And lastly, the Bat-tank-bike looks wicked, I'm a sucker for anything on treads. ~Peace
