  1. My greatest Mafia move ever. Congrats everyone, on your very well earned and fitting awards! I look forward to seeing what 2012 brings.
  2. Challenge: Begin Challenge: Complete I find it odd that we could have done this yesterday. Er, I mean earlier. Like, if this whole ordeal were to be recorded and split into chapters, then like a chapter ago. The only significant additions I've noted is the new blood puddle and the drawer lookin' things in the wall that Diesel picked up on. Perhaps we didn't find or complete whatever we were expected to last chapter...
  3. Hm, I was sure the fishing pole would reach. I don't see anything longer than a fishing pole around here... Maybe someone would be willing to stand on the cart and then try fishing down the bricks? Worth a shot. My other suggestion was to dip the hook in blood, but I kept that to myself as I didn't want to come off as someone like Chris. Makes sense though, surely the scent of blood would lure out anything evil dwelling in the pool. Question is, do we want that?
  4. Didn't I find some Lego blocks under the palm fronds yesterday last chapter earlier? Could that be another puzzle?
  5. Ah, so relaxing....
  6. I went to look up something on Wikipedia, to find it blacked out in order to spread awareness/in protest of SOPA/PIPA. I immediately thought of this XKCD comic.
  7. The youtube series 'Teens React' episode on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic was interesting. Pretty much sums up the different takes on the show, regardless of age. In other news, I've been catching up on Adventure Time! Man, I love that show. It's truly matched to my humour, I find myself laughing at it much more than any other show.
  8. Hahah. That's a neat poster. Thanks for sharing Fangy!
  9. Confound these wall-plants! *scratchy scratch scratch* I hate itchiness. And I left my itch cream on the bus! Oh hey, look at those palm fronds. Up there on those... pillars? Those are pillars right? They look like pillars, not palm tree trunks. I would like to see if I can spot anything from the ground in the palm fronds sitting atop the pillars around the pool. Also, I'd like to see if the pillars can be pushed over. You never know when we could use this information.
  10. As much as I'd enjoy a swim, I left my swim-gear back on the bus... I think I'll stand away from the pool, out of reach of captain grab-hands over there... I noticed on the balcony to the right 2 large bowls, then I noticed the foliage growing on the wall and wondered if someone could scale it to reach the bowls, and only after that did I notice the rubble blocking the way to the wall clip also block the way to the bowls because there's totally a staircase there that I missed. Although it seems difficult to move the rubble. Maybe the climbing the wall-plants idea wasn't such a bad one? Hmmmm?
  11. Invader Zim was my favourite cartoon for a long time. I love Jhonen Vasquez's artistic style, it's so twisted. I think 'edgy' is a good adjective for it actually. And the black comedy that he uses, love it.
  12. Blood! Monk! Pool! Hey, a swimming pool. This could have been a wonderful vacation, if not for all the monsters and murder. So it seems the floating crown and skull and what-not were hallucinations, according to the ghostly Monk I saw. That... wasn't a hallucination, right? You're weird. Penny brings up a good point: the statues! I would like to raise the statues' lowered arms (that is, their right arms) and see if that does anything. If not, I'd like to lower all their arms. Each of the statues arms, left and right. All the arms, to be clear. That is if they're even able to be moved.
  13. Tony? You sound different...
  14. Ingrid Peck here, ready to carry on! Now, where's that husband of mine...
  15. I quite like this track from the Portal 2 soundtrack. Also got the Amélie soundtrack. I only watched that film very recently, and loved the music on it. is my favourite thus far - Comptine d'un autre été: L'après-midi.
  16. I just saw Amélie for the first time. Lovely movie. Fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
  17. Congratulations man! That is awesome, both the creation and the story.
  18. Oh wow. I love this song. It's amazing. I can not get enough of it. I've been listening to the Portal 2 soundtrack too, but this song wasn't even on it and was the whole reason I got it. Good thing the soundtrack is still awesome without it, but this song man. Love it. Exile Vilify by The National. Maybe it's the piano, I love me some piano... The song sounds even better with some rain and Portal 2 art.
  19. Heh, cheers Oky. Hold on, wait, that kind of threw me off. Adventure Time came in back in 2008, a good 2 years before Regular Show and Friendship is Magic (which is really an entirely different style than that of Adventure Time, and I don't understand the comparison). Sure, it's immature, but from what I've gathered from Regular Show, that's pretty immature too. Immaturity isn't necessarily a bad thing. But y'know, to each their own. Adventure Time has that certain style and charm that not everyone appreciates, I can understand that. I haven't seen any episodes of Regular Show before, and I'd probably enjoy it, but for the moment I'm sticking with Adventure Time.
  20. I actually saw that one early, a friend linked a youtube video of it in 1080p, I couldn't resist. Yes, that is one of the more unsettling episodes that makes you question if it's really a kids show after all... That is true. And yes, Marceline is indeed awesome. You make good points about Friendship is Magic, particularly that last line there. Well said. And thanks for the avatar compliment, I put that together myself. I do love me some Scott Pilgrim.
  21. Congrats, Perry! And good luck!
  22. Have I posted in this topic? I dunno. Well, I'll just start. I love me some Adventure Time with Finn and Jake. It's the perfect balance of immaturity, crazy story-telling, and the more mature humour that makes for a great cartoon. Currently making my way through season 3, when I'm in the mood for sittin' back and watching cartoons. As for this whole 'My Little Pony' fanaticism... well, yeah, sure. It's a neat show. Perhaps it's because I'm a design student and I love the artistic style that Lauren Faust uses. Perhaps it's because it's so innocent and nice, yet still awesome and entertaining. Perhaps it's just because I find sonic rainbooms totally awesome. It's hard to pin it down.
  23. I dunno. Crank was an awesome movie, and that was, for story purposes, actually non-stop action. Having loads of action with little breaks can make for an exciting and fun movie, it doesn't automatically make it mindless audio-visual garbage for people with no attention spans. Try to be more polite, would you please. The cast for this movie isn't even bad. It's got Gambit from the Wolverine movie, Brad 'Iceman' Colbert from Generation Kill, previously mentioned Liam Neeson who is always amazing, and... well, I'm not sure about the calibre of Rihanna's acting, but she seems to be one of the main characters so I guess we'll find out. I'm getting more interested in this movie. It looks to be a neat film.
  24. If you're a fan of Batman, you'll know Ra's al Ghul is no 'stupid ninja leader'. And I quite enjoyed The A-Team... This movie could be good. Another action movie, y'know. Doesn't need a big complex, deep plot. You need movies like that, lots of guns, explosions, mindless action. I'm sure this'll be as good as any of the Transformers movies.
  25. Queen - Greatest Hits. What's not to love?
