Well, I've been playing Lego Star Wars for the past few weeks, and have nearly finished it fully. Just a few more minikits to collect and that's that! It's very fun playing as Darth Vader, I tell you what! However, I'll have to post-pone finishing this fully, as I just got (yesterday afternoon) Unreal Tournament III!! It is neat. Awesomely detailed characters, using the same engine as Gears of War (or rather, Gears of War uses the Unreal Engine). So, I finally got the fourth in the Unreal Tournament series, hooray! ~Peace

Maybe the XB360 match advertisments should stay in the Culture and Multimedia forum? Anyway, I've seen a few Lego GTA movies on YouTube, some were good, others were really terrible. You just have to look around to see the best. ~Peace

We have that here in NZ too, Snickers, Mars and Mars Rocks. I won a free Mars Rocks bar! Free food ON! Anywho, today I haven't done much, Ma went to the optometrists and we parked right outside Toyworld, so I thought, why not go in? Then I saw the Castle sets again and thought, why not get more? So I did. Then I came home and have been building the sets, posting here on EB, and having lunch. This avo I'll be having a LAN with a couple of mates, smaller than the normal LANs but still good. I stand by my statement. I got another of each Dwarf Mine Defender and Troll Assault Wagon today, clearing out the last of my Christmas money. Until I get the $68.00 I'm owed back, that is. Yes, Harley's Hammer Truck is in the Toyworld where I live, with the rest of the sets scheduled to arrive this month. So they'll most likely arrive this month in Aussie too. I was tempted to pick up Harley's truck, but my love for Castle is too strong... Also, the Agents sets are set to arrive in stores in NZ (well, Toyworld anyway) in September, so that gives me time to save up again! ~Peace

I finally got the Troll Attackship today (which is sweet by the way) and I noticed the Crownie's helmet (the one with the movable visor) looked a tad strange. Not something entirely obvious, but most definately not exactly the same as the other ones. The pointed part on the nose was extended a little, which made it look just a bit weird. Here's a MS Paint image I've done to try to get the picture across. The front view is more square than pointed as well. So my question is, has anyone else had any helmets like this? Is mine a special one? Will that be the standard from now on? Any info is appreciated. Oh, and if this belongs elsewhere (like General Discussion), please do move it, thanks. Peace ~iamded

Well, I just caught up on about 20 comics, which were all great! I think it was from the M-tron Bar Fight where I continued from. Awesome comics, K-Dog, keep it up! ~Peace

The part that connects the legs to the torso is wider than a standard stud, and the quiver is only meant for things as wide as one stud. So when you push it down, it puts stress on the quivver and will probably snap it. Unless it's a super strong quiver in which case it will compress the hip-torso connector. ~Peace

I concur. There are those who collect all types of Lego, then there are those who collect theme specific that isn't Castle, then there are us Castle collectors. I stick to Castle, putting that top on my priorities list, with a few other sets (like a Star Wars battle-pack or Agents set, mainly for the figs) coming in later. And then there are the super Castle fans, who collect tons of Castle sets and absolutely nothing else. Man, I wish I had the money to be one of them. ~Peace

These are all good ideas. An evil Jester is something I never would have thought of, great idea! A lot of sets come with baseplates, and all baseplates make for good starts for Castles, and nice medieval scenery. ~Peace

That is really very cool Batbrick! One sweet redesign, much better than the original IMO. Maybe I should pick up that set. It looks very sturdy and posable, great MOC indeed! ~Peace

That is indeed an innovative use for those annoying 'play features'. I believe it was AmperZand who suggested they could also be used for torches (the medieval type). Very clever indeed. ~Peace

Finally got the Trolll Attackship. Hooray, that's Castle '08 collected for me! Except for maybe a few more doubles... and maybe a triple of some sets... Still no Agents or the new Impulse set though, so I'll keep checking back. ~Peace

M10, Dromindur, Ravine, outside Tavern. Well, that was disappointing. <flashback> Somnium was merrily skimming stones across the water of the river, his brand new longbow securely fastened to his back, along with his fancy new arrows. He felt very safe under the bridge, happily watching bodies fall into the river, getting a bit squeamish when some fell onto the rocks, but generally having a better time than he would be having up there, where the danger was. Just as he was thinking this, the ledge he was sitting on collapsed into the water, as did Somnium himself. He fumbled and struggled to the shore through the raging current, well, actually he just paddled to the shore through the happily trickling river. As he stood there, now annoyed that the cliff was so rocky, yet so lacking any more outcrops with which to sit on, a Dragon Knight squad surrounded him, pointing their swords at his throat. Oh, bother. </flashback> Now Somnium was walking along, captured, with some other Scorpion Knights, his fancy new weaponry confiscated, just like at school. Adym had finally come out of the Tavern, only to find that the fight was over. He was looking forward to slaying some Scorpion Knights with this massive axe he had found, he'd got all psyched up too, only to find the battle was over and won. Oh man. Oh well, I did throw a rock at this guy! Did you guys see it! I think I killed him. There you are! The strange rock-throwing metal armed man! You bonked me on the head with that rock, and I am most definately not dead! Oh. Well then, sorry. Um, no hard feelings? Hmph. As he was walking along, Somnium heard a Dwarf say something about a Keep crawling with Scorpion Knights. Apparently that's where they were headed. Hooray! That meant maybe he could escape, and re-join his comrades! Woo!

So, uh, what's the situation in Dromindur, at the Ravine? My two characters are still hiding out there, wondering if the battle's over or not. ~Peace EDIT: Oh, never mind. I see the massive update now.
