  1. A very happy birthday to all 3 of you! All the best! ~Peace
  2. Well, you've certainly progressed your way through Eurobricks, met heaps of great new people and brought heaps of great stories and creations. You're a wonderful contributor and I congratulate you on your title of Games Regulator! Congratulations buddy! Stick with it, and keep it up! ~iamded :skull:
  3. Tetris (Themes B and C) from the band Powerglove's album, Total Pwnage. Ah, video game metal remixes. ~Peace
  4. Last movie at the cinema? Year One. Eh, I like stupid movies like that. Jack Black's awesome. Last movie in general? The Dark Knight. Again. What can I say, it's fantastic. ~Peace
  5. Alright, my time has come. This picture is severely outdated, from Halloween 2007 I believe. My hair has doubled in length now. Peace ~iamded
  6. At this current moment: Maria - Rage Against The Machine Played Guitar Hero: Metallica, at a 'get-together' of all my mates, so I've listened to a bit of Metallica lately as well. I have all their albums, yet the only song I can name is 'Enter Sandman'. And then the usual, Tool, Hurt, Disturbed, Gorillaz, Nickelback, The Offspring... Yep. Not much.
  7. Interesting. Took me a while to realise it was from a first person perspective of the hostage. Great lighting effects. What torso is used for the guy on the left? ~Peace
  8. Hah, with the release of a new Aliens versus Predator game early next year, it got me remembering just how cool the Xenomorphs and Predators are. So I rented and watched Alien, Aliens, Alien³ and Alien Resurrection. Also Predator. Next week I have Predator 2, Aliens versus Predator and AvP Requiem lined up. I was all amped for Predators, but then I found out it hasn't actually been made yet. Awesome. ~Peace
  9. All the posts I've read seem to be favouring the cartoon violence, or non-violent styles. Then again, I did just skim over them. (The votes seem to beg to differ as well.) Personally I'm not phased by particularly violent MOCs. I think the over-the-top violence is quite ridiculous, in a good way. Note I'm a fan of post-Apocalypse and zombie MOCs, so tolerance of violence (not real life violence of course) kind of goes without saying. ~Peace
  10. This is what I liked about the Shi No Numa zombies map, instead of all 4 players being American, you got one of each race from the campaigns. And they each have their own personality and back stories too, which was fun to see. Still waiting for Der Reise to be released on the PC. I want to use the Pack-a-Punch thingy! I found the meteorite in Shi No Numa, that was neat too. ~Peace
  11. Last movie I saw was District 9, which I enjoyed. We learned a valuable lesson in tolerance and to accept people (and aliens) for their inner worth rather than their outer appearance and then they got a gun that shot lightning and exploded people. Man that thing was neat. ~Peace
  12. I have to say I really like Call of Duty 5. It goes without saying that CoD 4 is fantastic and Modern Warfare 2 will be epic, but I like the different style and different feel to the gameplay that World at War has. Not to mention the crazy escapades in Nazi Zombies. I did some research (ie. read up on the Call of Duty wiki) and the backstory to the whole zombies thing is quite interesting and spooky, revealed through Easter Eggs and such. Wouldn't make a bad movie in my opinion... ~Peace :pir-skull:
  13. Congratulations Stash2Sixx! I wish you the best of luck and may the force be with you! Okay that was cheesy. Really though, I wish you well. ~Peace :pir-skull:
  14. Congratulations Erdbeereis! Don't celebrate with too much rum. Ah what the heck, it's a special occasion! Good luck and I wish you well! ~Peace :pir-skull:
  15. Very nice tower, Athos! You've certainly nailed the dark wizard tower look, nicely furnished and lookin' good! Very very nice indeed. ~Peace
  16. Okay, so the title was a tad misleading. I saw on Shop at Home this offer for a free gold minifigure key-chain with any purchase of $150 or more. Not a bad collectable, in my opinion. Sorry if this is old news, please close if that is the case. ~Peace
  17. Interactive Apocalypse has come to an end after all this time. This is great as it opens up a space that you can fill with many new MOCs, or a new series. However, it's still the end of Interactive Apocalypse, which I know I will miss. It's been just over one and a half years since you first introduced the great adventure that would have us eagerly following it, marvelling at your awesome creations and noting your ever increasing skill as a builder. It's been an interesting journey, with losses and gains, epic battles and solitary imprisonments. You've created a great Universe here, and I hope we'll still see future MOCs reflecting this world you've made. As for the new base (Which I've gathered is one of many outposts, yes?), well, you've done a great job mate. I particularly love the door, absolutely coated in spikes. Brutal. It's packed with details, and contains all the necessities of survival. Another fantastic addition, and a fitting end, reflecting both our humble beginnings in our little base, but much sturdier, well equipped, and generally better off, reflecting the knowledge and skills we've gained through our ordeal. I'm sad to see so much of our team go, but at least I SURVIVED! Meee! Er, I mean, Ian Ded!! Woo! But really, our dead will be mourned. Ah, so where do I go from here? The story has come to a great end in my opinion. As previously mentioned - a happy ending, but not perfect - and let's admit, perfect isn't that great anyway. A new beginning has spawned from an explosive end, and I'm glad it's gone this way. I can't help but imagine the many different paths this story could have taken, but I feel we chose the best ending. I chose the obvious answer and selected, "Now bring on Interactive Supervillain! I want to rule the world!" Ian Ded will conquer all! Can't wait for this to some around, a new series to keep us in eager anticipation. Keep up the great work buddy! ~Peace
  18. Mine's the minifigures included in Medieval Market Village, as they represent Castle life nicely, accompanied by the Lego Castle theme logo and my Lego profile ID thing. Oh yes, and something I overheard Dragonator say when I was staying with him. ~Peace
  19. Awesome news, this is what we've all been waiting for. The last piece in the army building puzzle. ~Peace
  20. My... my God... this is wonderful! Thank you, TLC, thank you! ~Peace
  21. As always another great svelte_corps review! I was a bit sceptic when I first saw this. I think I prefer the old giant trolls and clubs, although the tattooed arms are cool. I just don't think the black armour fits in. The rest of the figs are awesome however, love the Troll King. Look at him winking at the Sorceress. The build is very, herm, not how I expected. I pictured a crazy haphazard asymmetrical construction, but it's more symmetrical than King's Castle Siege. Symmetricality means a lot to me, I'm not sure why. Anyway, since I am a Castle fan I won't be passing this up. The new troll figures, and the new King are a must for my collection. The Fortress itself can be used for a decent parts pack, certainly useful for future troll MOCs. So, thanks again for the review, svelte_corps! Great job. ~Peace
  22. Wow. Oh my. Wow. Just... wow. You've really out-done yourself here mate! You've come a long way since your lovely little base from Safe Season, when clearly Batbrick's mind hasd turned to mush! Along the way you've been improving and experimenting, creating all sorts of masterpieces. I particularly loved that crazy caged fortress from Captured, and we all loved The Deadzone. Xenu's Sea Fortress was awesome going up against Dragonator's Death Roller. And now this, a full out four way battle of DOOM! It's quite the scene to behold. The Apocalypse is stunning, rocket's firing, cannon's booming, saw blades whirring, spikes... looking intimidating! Heaps of lookout posts and fortifications for troops to take cover behind. Armed to the teeth, heavily armoured, and with that sweet dark grey/tan colour scheme. And that nifty holding area for the nuke. Overall another carefully crafted amazing looking masterpiece! The Desert Dragon's upgrade is looking nice as well, that roll-cage piece fits perfectly. The Chain-gun Cycles are freakin' sweet, as a quote from the first thought that came to my head. I imagine they'll need quite the boost to overcome the recoil from those barrels! The nuke and it's supports / the Cyborg's base is rad. (Get it, like, radiation? No? Fallout 3 reference... ) Really though, it's awesome, quite the payload you have there. Don't drop it! The undead spawning pool is exquisitely sinister. The busted missile lying it it, the wooden barricades, and the flames erupting from it set quite an terrifying scene. Or maybe that's all the undead bursting forth from the irradiated abyss. Either way, it's awesome. The Brotherhood's vehicles look big and tough, ready to plough through anything in their way and tough out anything thrown at them (except maybe that nuke... ). The Dominator is awesome with it's chains and grills and massive tyres. And of course the engine details. Absolutely awesome. The Devastator it like it's little bro, with my ever favourite thing, treads, a sweet little engine, awesome front grill, and everyone loves missile pods. And the armies are both varied and awesome and armed to the max. Dragonator's army is looking very nice in it's mainly symmetrical appearance, with the different classes of troops armed with different weapons, Dragonator standing at the front at the side of his missus. Very cool. Sondra's army is very cool as well, with all our favourite heroes (and a monkey) backed by loyal troops. And now I've commented onto this spectacular new addition, though sadly the finale, I shall move on to our options... Disperse all but your most dedicated men away from the battle, and destroy the nuke, burying Dragonator and the Undead spawning pit forever. Ah, the ol' kamikaze method. Our protagonist and his stalwart companions will go down in the halls of fame and history as the Heroes of the Apocalypse, having stopped the undead Swarm, the core of Lord Dragonator's army, and the dangerous remnants of the Cyborgs. HOWEVER, there is one crucial flaw in this plan; our deaths. And the fact that even if only our heroes go in to activate the bomb, the blast will take out the rest of our troops anyway, as well as anyone else on the continent. (Over-exaggeration? Maybe... maybe not...) There'll be no one to know of our sacrifice, bar a few radiated mutants. I opt out of this option. :skull: Fight on! Keep Dragonator's forces closest to The Swarm and Cyborg's gunfire. There is a slim chance of success! Hm. Not a bad idea. I don't like this 'slim' chance of success though. And besides, I've already chosen my option. Retreat! In this four way battle royale you cannot win, you must pull out and hope for a day when Dragonator can be defeated. No no no! If this is the finale, it has to be EPIC! We can't just up and leave, Dragonator will get the nuke and then there'll be no way of stopping him! I'd rather go the kamikaze method. Have Dragonator's army distracted while you and a small force attempts to sabotage the missile, and then flee for your lives. Now this seems like the best option. Which is why I'm not voting for it. Come on, there's no way it can work, it ends too well! All the good guys get away, all the bad guys die. Nope, not falling for it. Besides, I could again go with that, 'nuke would destroy us in it's blast anyway' scheme. Unless we were to rig it without Lord D. knowing, then leave so he thinks we've retreated, then head to another post-Apoc island on a converted Sondra's Ship, then detonate the nuke. But again, it seems like too good a plan. Attempt to assassinate Dragonator. Cut the head off the snake and the body dies, or perhaps the second-in-command will simply step in. This is where my vote goes. Dragonator's reign of terror must end, and this time it's personal! Send Ian Ded in to finish him! Or whatever, just kill the dark Lord Dragonator of darkness, and doom, and terror, and darkness... Either his forces will crumble, or Mrs. Dragonator will take over. In that case, we can take her out. Take out all the leaders, then the troops should be sufficiently demoralised to not be a threat. Without lead, they will fall to the swarm. And then we can finish of the rest. We could hi-jack The Apocalypse, crash it into the zombie tide pool or something. Anyway, main thing, this one gets my vote. So, I'm sad this is the end, but I will be looking forward to the epilogue with great fervor! And I will eagerly be awaiting Interactive Super-villain! Peace, keep up the great work, and just because this is the end of Interactive Apocalypse, don't let it be the end of your awesome post Apocalyptic creations! ~iamded
  23. It does look very nice. Interesting build, very cool. ~Peace
  24. Superb review, svelte_corps! This looks like one stunner of a set, the fezzes, the parts, the play features, that moustache! And presented in such a wonderful form, thank you, svelte_corps! ~Peace
  25. World domination? Hey, I'm not Lord Dragonator here! ~Peace
