I just thought about something interesting. Would people prefer a... -Cheaper ($150-$250) facade of a castle OR -More expensive ($250-$350) full castle? Because I'm gonna take a guess and say it'll be one of those two options. Whether either could be very impressive is a different story. Additionally, they could make a more expensive facade and pack a lot more detail into both the exterior and the interior, since they'll have less to worry about by not adding a back. It could also give us additional models like parade floats and whatnot.

Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion
TheBrickPal replied to Quicksilver's topic in LEGO Licensed
Are you basing all this all off of (an) official picture(s)? Methinks there's something you aren't showing us. EDIT: Wow, Sci, you and I posted at the same time! -
Perhaps an exclusive Cinderella minifigure will be included, since she's not in the series? Either that or the Mickey gang in their theme park outfits, which would give us Goofy and Pluto (hopefully!)

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
TheBrickPal replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I mean, we haven't heard anything officially, but I can't see why we wouldn't get another season this year. That's a whole new wave they're going to need to promote. Plus, we got two seasons last year for Tournament of Elements and Possession, so why not this year?- 4,591 replies

I just ordered Piggy Car Escape and Pig City Teardown from Amazon yesterday (along with Black Panther Pursuit, but wrong thread for that). I can't wait to receive them! The latter especially really looks amazing, and video reviews have certainly proven that to be true.

Actually, it still is exclusive to this, because there is no villager in the Iron Golem set. However, the Iron Golem itself uses the same head as a villager.

Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 1 Discussion
TheBrickPal replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
So, given LEGO's history with minifig series... if Simpsons got a second series, Disney can too, right? So this is the thread for your wishlists of minifigures you expect or want to exist if we were to see another eighteen minifigs in 2017. RULES -Use up 18 slots, or make another 18 after if you expect or want to predict minifigs for a third Disney series. -Make your guesses/wishes in the realm of possibility. Is the character from a property LEGO would(n't) touch? Does it sort of or mostly go with the formula present in this year's Disney Collectable Minifigures series? -Have fun! My "wishlist", in no particular order: 1. Dipper Pines - with Journal 3 and page tile inside with Bill on it (Gravity Falls) 2. Perry the Platypus - with grappling hook (Phineas and Ferb) 3. Belle - with book (Beauty and the Beast) 4. Beast - with rose (Beauty and the Beast) 5. Cinderella (Cinderella) 6. Jack Skellington (The Nightmare Before Christmas) 7. Goofy - with Pluto 8. Scrooge McDuck 9. Lilo (Lilo and Stitch) 10. Timon (The Lion King) 11. Rafiki - with staff (The Lion King) 12. Mulan (Mulan) 13. Rapunzel (Tangled) 14. Elsa - with "ice" trans-white fire piece (Frozen) 15. Sorceror's Apprentice Mickey - with broom (Fantasia) 16. Baymax (Big Hero 6) 17. Jafar - with staff (Aladdin) 18. Ralph (Wreck-It Ralph) Begin!- 4,155 replies

Press release from StarWars.com: Told in the whimsically-charged style that audiences have come to expect from LEGO Star Wars entertainment, the series stars the Freemakers, a family of scavengers who build and sell starships from the scoured debris of space battles strewn throughout the galaxy. When their youngest discovers a natural connection with the Force through an ancient artifact — the Kyber Saber — his world is turned upside down, and he and his family are thrown into an epic struggle against the Empire to restore peace and freedom to the galaxy. Throughout their adventures, the Freemakers explore new worlds, meet new and familiar characters, and learn the true value of what it means to be a family. “We are very excited to launch for the first time a TV series with Disney XD,” said Jill Wilfert, vice president, licensing & entertainment at the LEGO Group. “The creative team behind The Freemaker Adventures is extremely talented, and the series is a great testament to our longstanding and successful partnership with Lucasfilm and Disney. The show masterfully combines the rich heritage of storytelling, great characters, action, and adventure in a galaxy far, far away with the creativity, imagination, and humor that only LEGO Star Wars can deliver. We are sure fans young and old are going to love the show.” “With The Freemaker Adventures we are thrilled to bring all-new stories to life that could only be realized in the LEGO Star Wars universe,” said Carrie Beck, vice president, animation development at Lucasfilm. “We are embarking on an unprecedented collaboration that will allow us to extend the narrative experience of the Star Wars saga with the same playful spirit that’s always made LEGO Star Wars so much fun to watch. We are so thankful to have such great partners in the LEGO Group, Disney XD, and series developers Bill Motz and Bob Roth.” LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures is a production of Wil Film, the LEGO Group, and Lucasfilm. Developed for television by Bill Motz and Bob Roth (Penguins of Madagascar), they join Torsten Jacobson (LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales) and Jill Wilfert (The LEGO Movie) as executive producers alongside producers Carrie Beck (Star Wars Rebels), Jason Cosler (LEGO Marvel Super Heroes: Avengers Reassembled!), Jake Blais, and John McCormack. EPISODES: Season 1 1.) A Hero Discovered (6/20/16) 2.) The Mines of Graballa (6/21/16) 3.) Zander's Joyride (6/22/16) 4.) The Lost Treasure of Cloud City (6/23/16) 5.) Peril on Kashyyyk (6/27/16) 6.)
