    I hated these ships in TLJ, they served no purpose other than cannon fodder......BUT you sir have made a beautiful model, the way you have built it reminds me of the old World War II bombers of old, which i know Johnson was aiming for in the film. You have done his job for him, great work :)

    Apologies everyone but a disaster with a HD means ive lost a lot of work including the LDD designs to this, gutted isnt a word id use :( Anyway as of now im reverse engineering the pics i originally posted and starting again, i was never really happy with it so maybe its a small mercy that it will rise from the ashes better than before! Apologies again if you have been waiting for instruction, hopefully it doesnt take two years again!

    Looking through parts in LDD, the body can be 'sort of done' with part# 3063 spaced with #3005, its not circular but its close enough, the dome is another matter. If i was you, with the effort and attention to detail, i'd be 3D printing a bespoke R2 for this amazing creation :)

    Thank you @Midlife-crisis i'm very happy with the rear of the fuselage as it's quite sweeping compared to the T-65, it was a pain to get right so hopefully im not touching that part in the redesign. The engines will be untouched, i dont think i can improve them :)

    Thank you all! I'm actually redesigning this as im OCD when it comes to getting things perfect. It may turn out worse but if all else fails i'll just do two versions Watch this space guys, hopefully its not to long.

    Im sorry but for someone who ive noticed state they hate Lepin a few times, to be sold a Lepin set by a 'friend' and not notice?......am i being harsh or does that seem a bit daft? Either way enjoy the set and the mods are nice

    You know its a massive model but when you see that cup of tea next to the engine/landing gear.......ermergherd its hueeeerge!

    I dont think many lawsuits go far with regards to Chinese companies copying products, i remember when there was a chinese copy of a BMW suv, BMW got nowhere with a suit against the company that did it :/

    If you go to Rebrickable.com you can compare 10179 and 75192, apparently they only share 30% of bricks and the new MF has 5k bricks unique to the set. As Wonderpants said, the new cockpit elements are eye watering prices so it might be a while before you can get them.
