I think they are cute though. Wish they would bring back The Bat.

I find this original post to be quite sad. Have we have grown so used to poor customer service or no customer service that when we encounter real honest customer service it overwhelms us? Let me be clear as I can be: NO, I am not having issues w/ Lego customer service going WAY beyond. I am having issues with the companies who now believe Customer Service is a stupid computer that requires me to punch in 50 answers and still does not solve my issue. I have issues with Rude and Stupid people who know I can never really report them because they are in a call center in another state (or country) so they do as little as they can. I have issues with people who believe I do not deserve to have the best customer service when I spend my hard earned dollars on their products. Lego is doing it right and way too many others are doing it wrong. I believe I have answered the original question.

The reality is, if you look, you will always find a sale or auction that just is stupid or one that is just wrong. You will also find once in a while a major steal. But for the most part ebay is neither. Most of the stuff on ebay can be found cheeper, but is ti worth the effort? Sometimes yes, and sometimes no.

The Genghis Khan looks wonderful. I like some of the small details. The sword shieth on the saddle for example. Nice figure. I so look forward to more of your work in the future.

I like this MOC castle very much. I really like the sprinkled yellow as it gives the walls that built from stone like feel. As others have said the small village also adds to the overall impact. Great Work.

You could have the Persians support the Crown Knights. That would make their combined number closer to the Lions/Dragons. Also keep in mind that your "generic" army could be conscripts for the Crown King as well. Do that and he has quite the force.

But I can say with 100% surity that Daniel's Dad wishes that was his collection.

So maybe this is a dumb question, but if that is the case, why would our Australian friends not locate an American they can trust (yes I know how hard that could be) and have them buy it and send it to them? I am sure the shipment of that set to Australia is less than $169 USD.

I really like the cockpit design. Very Nice. As for color, I would start by replacing all the tiles with a color you like. Red or Blue might look good with the grey tones. Just a thought.

I really love this MOC. Th etower and home are wonderful. I am unsure about the yellow roof, the jury is still out for me on the color. But the build is wonderful. Keep up the great work!

Didn't the PotC sets introduce some new parts as well? Wouldn't that have an impact on the line too?

I could be wrong, but the $89USD is for the printed version and the link you gave is for the PDF version to be used with ebook readers or looked at on your computer. EDIT: Fixed Typo.

When I was a lot younger my father used to compair all our hobby and fun spending to a movie. So that is what I do now. A movie costs me about $10 USD plus another $8-$12 or so for snacks etc. So I am at least $20 USD for a two hour fun time and then it is gone. Compaired to a $40 Lego set. How many hours do I get out of it? If it is less then 4 hours it is not a good deal when compaired to a movie. But if it si a lot more (the reality) then it is not a bad price.

People keep talking about this, but when I go to my local Target all I have found was a couple sets marked down like 10% and nothing worth buys either.

Nice looking Robots. Love the one with the large beer caske on his back. Well Done, nice looking formation.

I really like the small mine enterance. Nice work. This is a good looking MOC.

While the set does nothing for me either way, I love the glow in the dark wand. Nice review though. Well Done.

Here is a thread where this subject was discussed. Lots of good info and even more angst to be found . http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=49071&st=0

This does raise an interesting counter argument to the "Lego cost is too high" point of view. Thanks for sharing this.

Are there more Mini-figs than there are humans?
Hoboman replied to Hrw-Amen's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Well let's see, there are four of us humans in the house, and between my son and I we have quite a few minifigures. -
I like the knight the best but they all are good.

REVIEW: 2260 Ice Dragon Attack
Hoboman replied to Dunjohn's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
To be honest, I am not a real fan of this dragon. I realize some folks liek the wings, I realy dislike them. The wings remind me too mch of bird feathers and to me, a dragon does nto have feathers. But this is a great review though. Nice Job. -
I like the house in this MOC setting better. This seems to give it some context. I also love the well. Very nice.

Ah yes, now I understand. Thans for the explination.
