  1. Thank You LuxorV, this is a great tutorial and will be quite useful. (Daniel's dad is off to find some decals.....)
  2. I think the rifle looks good. It fits what you discribe real well.
  3. Too bad because that armor looks real nice. I bet the new one from Lego will just be a print on the torso.
  4. Great job ED-209. I think you nailed them down perfectly. I also think your choice of head for the Baron would look great with that body.
  5. That is just too cool. Wish I could see it in person. I imagine you two are quite proud at what you have done. Thanks for shareing it with those of us who can not get down to ComicCon.
  6. Each time I come back to this thread I am impressed and I learn. Thanks for showing how you did the trim. The idea is simple and elegant. Oh and it looks wonderful too.
  7. I am glad the OP did not do anything wrong, but this does show how hard it is to police the Internet for copyright infractions. But as far as the subject, I am glad I did have a chance to see these and enjoy them. It is interesting to see these. I am now very interested in the information that Nabil spoke of. Nabil, is the complete article available somewhere on line? --
  8. That is a wonderful army and a great way to show it off. Love the whole buildout.
  9. This is a great MOC. I love how you used the Skeleton arms on the gun. The whole thing is wonderful.
  10. The whole batman/DC thing just shows you should never say never. And back on topic: Another theme I would love to see would be a Western Theme but based on famous western movies. I know it sounds silly, but can you just see Rooster Cogburn, the Lone Ranger, or Preacher from Pale Rider in Lego.
  11. Has the OP said anything past the first post? Could it be we all were just trolled? The more I think about it, the more I feel the original post could not be serious. It was either a joke, a dare, or a troll.
  12. I happen to agree 100%. With a smaller collection you have a great chance of finding things and knowing what you have. The larger the collection the more difficult it would be to keep it all in your mind. Some kind of system would be a great help with the larger collections.
  13. Ok that was an interesting two posts Stash2Sixx. Makes me wonder what I missed.
  14. I am just curious, do you take them apart a lot? You know play with them in wargames etc? Are they in the sun a lot? I think it is odd they are cracking like that. I am sorry for your collection having that issue. --
  15. While I would like to see an 18th century styled line, I wonder if there would be any issue with Lego's target consumer. Kids get Knights and horses and swords. They get spacemen and aliens. They understand police and firemen. They understand Star Wars. But would the normal 6-10 year old know what an 18th century hero be? Would they really get the lace and musket eras? Now I am not saying they would not, just wondering how do you package it to reach a seven year old the way, say, Kingdoms has.
  16. This MOC does beg the question: Who is the Old Man of the Jungle? Is it th eminifig or could it be refering to the old statue? Regardless, I like this MOC quite a bit. The whole look works. Very Good Job.
  17. I have four "factions" but some are mixed and some not. For example, I have the new Dragon Knights that I use as they are. But I also have a set of knights I made from some minifigs I owned and will not use. So I added armor and helms and pu tthem on Horses. The reality is, though, that I imagine this could change as my collection grows.
  18. I am in the same boat as Fred. we took lots of pictures, not just o fLego but of books and other things. Store it off site in a safty deposit box. No need for a special rider for me.
  19. Wow, if I lived there I wuld be like: Forget the box, if the instructions are available as PDF forget them too. pop a hole in the bags to let the air out an dpack them in as small a box as you can. Sad they have to deal with this.
  20. I like many parts to him. But I am not a fan of the feet. They seem too big for the rest of him. Sorry. I would love to see him with some smaller feet.

    Dragon Ship

I really like it. I love the colors. Reminds me of some of the art from a book I had called Spacecraft 2000-2100AD. Good Work in my Opinion.
  22. I think this turned out quite well. Love the use of the figures on the inside. Good Job!
  23. I have to agree. That is my favorite part of this MOC. The whole thing is real nice. Great Job.
  24. I figure it is less cheeting and more doing with what you have. But I do understand. It is more fun sometimes to have many smaller armies than one large one. So I will continue to enjoy your efforts as you share them.
  25. This is a wonderful MOC. The details and stories found within are wonderful. I loved the band, it was great. And the bank robbers are a total win as my son would say. Great job.
