  1. Hello Folks, I have some Lego I want to trade for other Lego parts. Hope we can make a trade. :D Note: My "Have List" are links to big pictures of the item(s). Please PM me if you are interested in anything. I have: Silver Exo-force robots Star Wars Robots I want: Dwarves Elves Orc/Trolls - Parts or full figures. Brick Forge or Brick Arms items or make me an offer. I will add more as I have them. Thanks for looking. :D
  2. I love this idea so here are some items I will offer up. PM me if you are interested. I will ship in US. EDIT: All items have now been claimed. I love this thread.
  3. Wow, I am glad you guys pointed out how old the original thread was. Althought this does make me think about how many great threads I have not seen as I am a newer member. I will need to go back to some of the early pages and see what I have missed (but not Necro those threads of course. ) And TheLegoDr I agree, when you change the arms to a different color it does impact hwo the torso looks as well. Some combos do work better than others though.
  4. Will you be building this in Brick? I think it is a wonderful design and would like to see it go the next step.
  5. First let me say I do not think this is as bad as you might feel. I think most designers are their own worst critics. I do agree with the comment that the color shifts on some places are too harsh and too large. But I do believe you are heading in the right direction with the colors. If a wal is too monotone it takes away from it in my opinion. Yes, Tan and Dark Tan would look great for the Dragon Knights. But unless you had a lot of HP or PoP sets you could rob from, I tagree those colors are harder to us. But my parting comment is this: Be kind to yourself. This is a WIP and as such you can and should play around with different ideas without feeling bad if some do not work out the way you would have liked.
  6. I like this building quite a bit. I agree with those who have commented on the roof/stonework. I really like how that turned out. I also liek that color of roof combined with that grey. Very nice.
  7. I think asking if Lego can be used to create art is like asking if clay or paint can be used to make art. The fact is, almost any medium can be used to create art. There is not question that it can be used to make art. The reality is, it is the artist that makes the art and the medium is just what they use. So my little Lego MOCs are not art (trust me here) and neither is the clay pot I made in the 1st grade. But I have seen wonderful art made from clay, paint, steel, copper, and yes, Lego bricks.
  8. I have learned so much from reading this one thread. Thank You to all who have shared so far. Some of us really grow by seeing these ideas.
  9. Nice tower. I liked the shot of thw back on your flickr page. The two windows are a nice touch.
  10. The shoulder lamp looks great. The neck flap also came out nice. Great work so far.
  11. That is cool you made it spin. This is a cute MOC. Well Done.
  12. I really like the book-shelf. Overall I think you caught the scene very well.
  13. I love his movies and I think you did a great job in capturing this fight. I miss Bruce. Wonderful MOC.
  14. While I realize you are being fair to offer credit for the tree's idea to some one else, I think it was great you used them in this MOC. The use of a different tree style and color gives this MOC a nice feel. I also liked your bishop/priest figures. Great use of the whip on the shepherds crook staff the bishop is holding. Great stuff here.
  15. Nice little MOC. I loved how you did the fireplace/chimney and the floats on the fishing nets. Nice touches.
  16. Interesting turn of events. She wants the topic locked because we did not take it serious. She did not post so the topic could slide off the first page. I am sorry for saying you might have been a troll then. To take your original post serious let me say again: No, I have not had an issue with them doing way too much for me. Have a great day.
  17. I really like the colors used. The Black Roof and the blue and yellow highlights. Made this a real nice looking MOC in my opinion. I also like the small guard house, it was a nice touch.
  18. You even got the x-ray t-shirt. Great details. Wonderful MOC.
  19. I think you captured the moment very well. I really think you did a good job with Jules.
  20. I think the base looks nice, but for some reason I really like the multi-armed robot in the last posted photo. I know it is a simple figure, but it is a fun one.
  21. Funny, I thought that was steam from a cup of tea. It looked like the pot in the background had the same grey as well.
  22. The Original poster said it was part of a larger MOC due to be on display in June. Does anyone know if the finished MOC was posted somewhere? I would lve to see photos of the completed base.
  23. This looks interesting. What is the story behind this wonderful MOC? I am not sure I know a referance to "Viktor's Office". It is a good looking ruin though.
  24. Well once you switch out the rifle he will look great because you captured the rest very well in my opinion. Overall, you have shown great skill in doing custom work.
  25. I love the idea of a Lego Knight at a real castle. Well done.
