Thanks guys, so to be clear it was not a "limited edition" kin dof thing, right?
It makes me frustraited to see something as basic as that go unavailable and then to see ebay sellers with "more then 10" auctions selling a $15 item for $25-$30.
At this point there are older knights for less on ebay.
As my son and I continue to "grow" our collection, we have branched out to Kingdoms. I bought him a couple items and he wanted more men. I see they made a couple of "Battle Packs" with extra men. But I could not find them. The local Lego Store, KMart, Target, Lego-on-line etc did not have them.
Where they a limited time/number kind of thing? Do they still make them?
Did we just miss out?
Any help/info would be wonderful.
Thank You
PS: Yes I know I could get them one figure at a time on ebay or as full packs for a 50% mark-up.
I would just like to avoid it if possable.
I would bet all of these would be purchased in my house.
Great ideas.
I would love to see some with "civilians" as well. Sort of like the Jester set.
1. Black Smith
2. Pesent/farmer
3. Merchant
Anyway, well done.
I happen to like this even more then The Arctana. Both are great looking mind you, but I like th efeel of this one better.
I look forward to seeing more of your great work!
Well done Davey. I think you were successful in what you wanted to do. It has a 1940ish feel while alos keeping to the style of a VV.
I also am impressed with the color use. it looks good with that checker board style look. Gives it particular style.
Good Job
I would have to say, for me, SPIII, Star Wars, and Power Miners all because they brought me back into logo-world as well as brought my son in for the first time.
Sappy, I know, but that is how it is.
The thought just crossed my mind. If you could lock the axl so the ball did not roll and then filled the ball with an amount of led pellets/fishing weights then you might be able to make it stand on it's own. That would be a cool thing to have sitting on the desk. Anyway, just a thought.
Thank You for the kind welcome messages.
@KielDaMan: My other child (Maddy) did not show an interest in playing with the bricks. She liked other things and so we did those together.
There is not a single line I hate nor love above all the others. The problem I have is that I have elements from each line I liked or disliked.
I just finished reading this whole thread and find many folks raise particular issues regarding each line that are true. But to say what line is the worst? I just can't make up my mind.
I think it would be more interesting to name the set you found the worst from the various space lines.
