There is so much I like about this MOC. The leanig tower, the broken staircase, the treasure room, the river, and the creative characters. All combine to make this a fun MOC to look at. Well Done!

I just want to echo what others have said. I think you did a good job in capturing both the moment and the times in this MOC. I also thought you did a good job in not allowing it to get to cartoonish for such a dark subject. You kept it clean and to the point. Your build was good as well, not to let it be overshadowed by the wonderful intro/subject exicution.

I have to agree. I find the shorter version seems to be a better visual. Not sure why though. I also like the clean lines and color use you included in this MOC. Well Done.

Nice mini-figures. I really like how you did the legs for Isair. Using the backwards legs to give it hight and depth was a nice touch. The other two are good as well. Good Job. Daniel

Quite a few interesting parts useage in this MOC. Well done. I like how this came out very much.

Oh my, where to begin.... This is wonderful. I love the detail you have added. I love the color use, not the same old grey on grey. The red and black yell "other worldly" to me. I love the life you gave it by having things happening within the walls. I love the fact that you did not limit yourself the the table top but thought in 3D, thus use of the side of the table etc. I guess what I am trying to say is I love this creation very much and has become one of my personal favorites. Well done!

My six year old does not care and has no issue using the colored knights and their crash helmet style helms. On the other hand, I do buy some of the Brickforge stuff for my personal minifigs. Find a kid who just wants new toys and trade with them.

Tournament on castle Burg Stolzenstein

The amount of detail is wonderful. The tents are nice and I love the man in the stocks. Well done. -
This is your first MOC after 15 years...... Makes me think I will never get beyond the amature stage. Just know I think you did great job.

Nice work, I love the Dragon faction.

Why has Kingdoms replaced Castle on Lego.com?
Hoboman replied to LegoFreak5's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I would not be too upset. Given time this will happen anyway. The fan base will force this as people speak of it that way. Look at Bricklinks for example. They already classify it as a Castle sub theme. Let TLG have their marketing fun for now and then later you will have your way. -
While I respect your right to your opinion I hope they expand the magic/fantasy side a lot more. The theme needs more of a magical side to it as well as a better balance between the two "sides" presented so far.

It is already in the local US Lego stores. That is where I bought mine.

I am in the Los Angeles area. I bought it at the Glendale Lego Store. Funny thing is, I went there to sign him up for next months Lego Club meeting and to buy him a small set as a reward.

Thanks for the review. Right after I read this review we went to the local Lego store. They had them in. So yes, I picked one up for my son. He is going crazy asking how much longer until Dec 1st.

I like the taller back much better. It looks more like a thrown that way. Overall I think you did a good job.

I very much like how you did the stain glass and how you made his legs so that they look like he is in the lotus. Well done.

LEGO Collectible Minfigures Series 1 Poll
Hoboman replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
My favorite is the Robot, but the one I wish I had a lot of is the Zombie. -
Looks good. I like that you made it so a complete minifigure can "mount" the suit rather then just a head pocking out. I also like the hands. Nice idea.

I really like this MOC. It is clean, simple, and yet filled with fun details. Well Done.

I hope the first post was a Troll. If not, it makes me real sad. As for what I do with mine, we dump ours into the "let's have fun" box. Then we try and make things from the various extras built up over the sets we have bought. We have made lots of little robots, micro cars, and other such fun.

While I like the way both look, neither feels like "Star Wars" to me. Both feel more Animeish then Star Wars. I say take the clone head off and build a custom head for them and you will have two really great SciFi mecha on your hands.

Just a suggestion, back off the camera a little so the image is in focus. That will make the MOC look better too.

Yes, I remember this set with some fondness. I am sorry this does not meet with your approval.
