I do not agree at all. There is nothing saying they did not paint the wood to be colored their army colors. I believe this looks fine just the way they are. Now on an OGRE I agree, too bright would look out of place.

I have to respectfuly disagree. Last week I picked up three Forestmen torsos, three heads from the Series 1 line, 1 Mirmaid tail for my little girl along withtwo more printed legs from series 1 I wanted. Add in the three hair parts and the three swords and I believe it was well worth the $10 to be able to pick elements rather then buy fill figures just for the parts I wanted.

While I have not done this with Lego, I did do it with another hobby I was in. So I can empathise with your feelings.

Wonderful decals Daimar. I love your Orc/Troll body witht he chain. simple and clean. I always love those kinds of special decals. Thank You for giving them to us to use.

I hope you enjoy some of my craziness. Here are my Ash Rangers. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the Bloodlands the Elves and the Orcs have not had a full war in more then a hundred years. Of course they have had skirmishes and bush fights. But they have been slow to go to full all out war. The reason? The Ash Wastes. At the peak of their last war one of them, neither will say who, released a power so great it laid waste to a major area. All that remained was dead soil and ash. No trees, grass, or animals. Over time some small plant, insect and reptilian life has returned to the Ash Waste. But it is still a stark reminder of their last war. Now neither side trusts the other so they watch each other over their common boarder. The Elves deploy the Ash Rangers to patrol and watch for any Orc activity inside the Ash Waste. Below is pictured an Ash Ranger patrol.

My latest bit of fun using some of Brick Forge's elements. :D I have a Champion, a Mage, and two Warriors.

Not enough. Seriously, between work, family, and other issues I get to spend almost no time right now.

I would not refuse to buy a MOC if ti was glued, but it would limit the MOC's I would buy and lower the $ I would be willing to pay as well. Break Down and clear instructions would be better IMO.

I gave up on my "local" LUG. When I tried to introduce myself on their Yahoo group they acted like it was a bother to answer my questions. Then I realized the focus of the conversation was almost 100% on their bulk orders from Lego. Was quite a disappointment.

Had the same issue. Thus I was forced to lower my answer in two cases.

I think mine is just over 150 and my son is at abou 200.

While the building is nice, it is the wagon that I find I am impressed with. I love the design of the canvis top and the overall look. Well done. PS: But the Uniball is still one of my favorites of all time.

This is a great job White Nun. I loved how you did nto just add the brick on top, but rather counter sunk it into the body. Well done.

I really liked this. Would love to see it build at some point. The "crew" was also fun. Some creative characters. Well done.

This was the first of the new Kingdom sets my son and I bought. Up to that point he had focused on Star Wars. Then I bought this set. He took the Lion Knight and the Catapolt and I took the Dragon knight. He must have spent 2-3 hours trying to knock my man over with the catapolt. Fun Times. So what can I say, this set has a special place in my heart.

I kind of like this set. I do not mind the Knight can not ride in the gate. Not a major deal for me as I will buy two, combine them and make my own structure.
