Really like the BH - has a hint of French Riviera! Looks like it will be a fun build with tons of nice details. -
Thanks for your assessment, Joebot.

Yes, that's exactly what I meant. There are several different kits around from different companies, some expensive, some not so much and I have no idea which to choose. I once bought several 1x6 and 1x8 plates with LEDs and USB connection, which are okay, but kind of universal. Would prefer some adapted kit for the respective building.

Hi everybody I used the search but couldn't find something on lighting up Modular Houses, but I guess it was discussed here somewhere. If yes, maybe you can share the link. If not, what is the best way to lighten up my city? I found several suppliers but not sure which one would be best for my application. My houses are on a shelf wich is a tiny bit wider than 32 studs and three meters long (yes, I know, I ran out of space for all Modular Houses). On one side is a wall socket. I do not have space for one or more multi sockets behind the Lego buildings and I do not want to modify any bricks! Can you guys recommend something? Preferably ready.made kits. Thanks for your help in advance, Georg

I also waited a couple of days before giving my opinion. When I saw the leaked picture I wasn't exactly excited. But I have to say it grew on me with time. My biggest concern still is the design, because you really have to think about where to place it in you modular city. Like said before it will fit PC, DO and FB quite well and this is where I see it: I honestly can't see it next to PR, even though the two staircases may match eachother, because the architecture is just too different. Regarding the car: I really don't like it. The proportions are almost as strange as the limousine from PC. But still: I'll buy it at the first (well, second) day, because I want to keep our collection complete.

Really dig the dual bays, very nicely done. Regarding the flag... well, let me try something.. wait... :-) Just very, very quickly done. Maybe that would be an idea... having the flag over the entrance - including the rest as well.

Everything has been said. The proportions, the details, everything is spot on! Congratulations, it's an A W E S O M E build!

Some really interesting observations. Things like the missing apostrophe in "Jims" make me suspicious, too. Stil don't know what this is... real or fake. Maybe it really is a red herring... who knows? I can't wait to see/read the official TLG announcement! -

Those narrow houses look good! And thanks for the compliments! This was second and also last of my advent windows, as I moved then away from that little village. I just heard, that the kids were very disappointed when they saw the 2016 window - without any Lego! ;-) -

Very interesting, Hemlock Falls... :-) I would bet that AS is not the end of the modular buildings and I am really looking forward to a new house for 2018. So let's hope that I am right! ;-) When you look at my picture you can see that PR isn't that much lower than CC and GE has the same height as AS. Maybe some think smaller buildings mean less bricks... I don't know. Regarding PC and MS: I am totally with you! Same here, I will never try to get MS, because for me it's not really part of the series. PC looks okay next to DO and FB, because they all look American, but it will always be at the end of my Lego street. If Lego would stop making them, I guess I would work on a MOC. Just because I love that series so much! -

jlassen, I did that two times for some advent activities in the village I used to live. It's fun to cover everything up in snow :-) : -

I absolutely understand why people modify the buildings to their liking, but I don't understand why they all have to be 32x32 buildings. A real town has buildings of all sizes as well. I for example would like to have more buildings like the Petshop, because of their narrow size.
