The Many Adventures of the Whacker and the Walrus #6
DJ Force replied to Hinckley's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
No need to search for the other issues. Just click them at Hinckleys homepage http://brickzone.net/whacker.html -
You can have a classic town feeling with 4 stud wide cars. But sets like Cafe Corner, Market Street and Green Grocery are more suited with 6 stud wide cars, as both the buildings and the cars look more realistic that way. You can still use 4 stud wide windows for trucks and other extremely big 8 stud wide vehicles.

Cars should be 6 studs wide. Never less!

Say again...? It IS uploaded to the galery, or what are you talking about?

Guys, cast a vote for crying out loud! Chances are 6:1 to get the last Baritone. Otherwise the chances will be 5:1 tomorrow. Go on like this and eventually you all know for sure who the Baritone is when he wiped out everybody else. -
Why yes you are! Uhhh! I smell an opportunity for a challenge here!

I bought the 10200 Custom Garage the other day and I am VERY pleased. But 3 cars isn´t enough, so I built a 1991 Chevrolet Camaro in LDD, which I´d like to share with you: http://shop.lego.com/Product/Factory/Produ...31-7658ba016ce5 Pieces: 244 Price: EUR 25.27 Of course the engine is removable to place one of those cool modular engines in it. I´ll try and see if I have the bricks to build this for real and then I´ll see if there´s a chance (or the need) to refine the car a little.

Schwartz, you´re a nasty bastard! Excellent 100th issue!

I actually bought this et yesterday because of this review! It´s lovely, but it didn´t take me that long to build it, although I watched a DVD and had to look after my daughter in the same time. Now I need more cars!

The Baritones Discussion Thread

Agreed, picking out 3 Baritones in a row made the game become really quick and wiped out a lot of players. (3, actually ) But on the other hand, if I had been wrong with my suspicions, I wouldn´t have had the chance to blurt out the names of the ones to kill, but the ones NOT to kill. If the citizens would have decided to condemn another innocent citizen, the ghost would have had the chance to give inside information and save the innocent one from being condemned. So there are always two sides of the story. -

After all, it´s up to the players, if they want to believe the ghost. NOW they know that the ghost is an investigator and therefore has correct information. But they couldn´t possibly know this in the first place. Maybe, if the ghost shall be kept in future games, it would be cool to give one Baritone (or whoever is the evil part) the ability to fool the ghost. Same as with the bodyguard who can keep a citizen from being killed. It´s a chance to protect someone without knowing who is going to be killed. So the "Fooler" could say "I´m fooling the ghost to get wrong information about player XY if by chance the ghost is investigating player XY this night." How about that? -

Being a Ghost, Florence didn´t just go cat-fighting on the non-pants-ones I had my reasons to suspect the ones I did, although I have to admit that I had a bit of luck with Iris. In fact I think I mentioned my reasons why to suspect the Mayor and Betty. At the first night i actually was torn between Veronica and the Mayor. Glad I picked Petey, since Veronica turned out to be an ordinary citizen later. I´ll tell why I suspected Iris when the game is over, if you want to. On a side-note: The ghost is propably the most powerful character in the game on the good side. He (or she) can investigate and blurt out the results without having to fear to get killed, because he´s already dead. An investigator might only give subtle clues to the group if he doesn´t want to blow his cover and get killed instantly the next night. But with both roles it´s up to the citizens to believe the clues and take actions on those or not. -

When reading things like "the ghost knowing who the Baritones are destroyes the logic and fun of playing" makes me personally attacked and offended somehow. Hinckley, maybe at this point we could explain what Florence´s "secret power" really was. Some people here seem to be really upset about the whole ghost-thing. And honestly, I´d really like to defend explain myself then. -

Okay, I know some people might be a little upset about Florence´s intervention in the game. But please be assured that I am really only trying to play my role as good as I can, as everyone else in this game does. However, that the days are incredibly fast now is only a sign for extremely good playing of everybody, because otherwise there wouldn´t be so many clues we all could react on. However, I think it would be fun to have the days open a little longer to gather even more clues, discuss events and so on. Just a suggestion. -

It´s the face of Hagrid from the Harry Potter theme. The face should be quite common on Bricklink.

The Baritones Day 5-An End to the Spectral Help
DJ Force replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
*Florence´s ghost appears one more time, with a sad expression on her face* Fellow citicens of Moonlight, my friends, my dear sister, my beloved husband... It is time for me to say goodbye forever. I am eternally graceful that I was given the chance to do so from the powers above. But my appearance wasn´t only to say goodbye to the ones I loved, but mainly to wipe this lovely town clean from the sinister Baritones. I am sad to see my sayings proofed, that you cannot kill the Hydra with cutting off the head. This night I was able to find out that the Baritones have yet another Godfather after Betty´s death. And surprisingly enough it´s a woman again. I found out that IRIS is the new godfather of the Baritones! Dear friends, my death is avenged now. I cannot come back any more, although I know that there is one more Baritone left in town, I cannot help you finding out who that is. I have my suspicions, though, but you need to find out for yourself. It is time for me to go into eternity. Darlene, I will certainly miss my dear sister. It´s terrible you came into town when all these Baritones attempted one murder after another, I would have loved to chat the time away with you. Tell mom and dad I love them. And Ivan, my beloved husband. I will always love you, even in death there will always be a place in my heart for you. One day we will be together again. I will be waiting for you. I wish you luck in finding the last remaining Baritone amongst your ranks. Have faith, and truth will see the light of day. -

Damn, that was unexpected. First I thought Hinckley just removed another non-active player/character, but then I noticed that he actually WAS participating. Hinckley, you really are giving us a great plot with cool twists! Congratulations! -

Damn, I forgot to add "I hate jumping to conclusions without proof" to my latest posting, and sadly I may not edit my post. After reading the text again I noticed I´m sounding too harsh to Ivan. I really hope that I´m allowed to clarify my intention here.
