  1. People, stop complaining about that arch. It´s not a passway, or else TLC would have made it large enough for a minifig to walk through. It is rather a nice little detail to add to your castle setup for placing the armor from day 3. Imagine a hallway inside a castle, and there it is. The knights weapons chamber. With his favorite armor nicely displayed under an arch. I see nothing wrong with that
  2. Chainmail Bikinis? Ouch! Ever wear anything chainmail? That hurts on bare skin!
  3. But it´s shiny!
  4. Cool! Make a Salma Hayek!
  5. *Groar!* Going to witchhunt Tiny Pies now
  6. Sex sells - always *lol*
  7. Still searching for the parts shown...
  8. Very interesting idea to use those shovels! But the box on the top seems a little bit too big. It kills the overall very aerodynamic look of the ship.
  9. After the end of Exo-Force I had really high hopes on the newly announced Pirates theme. After all, I have to spend my Lego-money on something, haven´t I? As I own some random classic Pirate and Islanders sets and loads of Palm trees and foliage, I was actually planning on building a nice Pirate layout, including the new Pirate theme. When the names popped up, my hopes were even higher then, and the first bad-quality pictures that showed up later... Well, let´s just say my anticipation was enormous. Then the first sets arrived and we were able to see part counts, price tags, building methods, set design in detail and some really outstanding and detailed reviews. And that was the time this new Pirate theme had lost. The building methods are heavily aimed at a very young audience, the Fort lacks detail, the baseplate of Loot Island looks even worse than any BURP before and the price per piece count is horrible. While the minifigs are really nice and the set ideas great, what TLC made of it is poor. Pirates were present all those years, as the 4+ theme. This new theme looks the same to me. Similar set design, similar detail level, very basic building techniques, same audience... just in Minifig size. I´ll strictly pass on this theme and rather wait for something else to better spend my money on.
  10. Hehehe. This damn lottery
  11. You aren´t browsing through threads very often, are you? Try first page and go on from there. You might be surprised
  12. I´d prefer old ones, as I recently got my hands on a shipload of old knights (blue legs, red torso with lion logo and blue arms), but I guess they would look cool with new helmets, too. as a matter of fact: I don´t care as long as they are helmets
  13. Yeah, what the topic title says. Preferably grey helmets and swords, maybe some archer stuff. Whatever you´ve got for trade or sale, please make me an offer.
  14. System it will be! To be precisely, I´m looking for the parts necessary to build this: Brickshelf: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=292142
  15. While the wooden appearance added a lot to the wonderful look of your castle, I agree that the stonewall makes much more sense. Just don´t get rid of the wooden idea and implement it somewhere else in your design. Just one more thing while seeing your empty space for the throne room... Those walls are really high! If they don´t get enough support, they are easy to collapse. Maybe you can add some supporting collumns here and there? By the way... I especially like the mixture of old grey and bley. This texture makes the castle look so much more authentic than just one color all around.
  16. I´m looking for dark bley parts. Tiles, Slopes, Bricks, Round Bricks, Plates, Plates with clipholders, Bars... You name it - I want it If you´ve got too many of those stuff, drop me a PM and let me know what you are willing to sell and I´ll see if I need it. If you´ve got a searchlist of your own, let me know and maybe we can work out a trade.
  17. Updated the list with recent deal from Dennimator. EB: if you´ve got any of those torsos or hairpieces, or the remaining heads, please let me know
  18. Wicked! Truly wicked! A masterpiece of unconventional designs and building methods! That architecture and structure of the tower is really a work of genius!
  19. Thanks a lot! I might look into PaB and Bricklink, but actually I would prefer if someone here could sell or trade most of the parts
  20. Hi there, I´m looking to buy (or trade) the following minifig parts: (Chris Webber) (dark brown) (dark brown) (dark brown) (black) (black) furthermore: 1 set of dark blue arms 1 set of brown hands 1 yellow legs I´d have 4 fleshie Star Wars Rebel Fleet Trooper heads, the hands, the helmets and their weapons for trade from the Rebel Speeder Battlepack (I only needed torsos and legs from that set) And lots of complete space minifigs
  21. So did everyone! It was the most obvious thing to happen. Ever! Just kidding. I certainly didn´t see that one coming and I´m very curious about what happened to Mikey.
  22. I think somehow the front looks like the back and vice versa But overall a nice shape, especially from sideview.
  23. Well... Why not? Count me in.
  24. Excellent ideas there! Thanks! I just finished another car, that most people should recognize. It hasnßt got the best likeness, but with this removable engine thing you just have to make some drawbacks. Anyway, here is KITT: Pieces: 194 Price: EUR 19.70 http://shop.lego.com/Product/Factory/Produ...aa-f4ae05382634 Lemme know what you think!
  25. Cool idea. That hammer is really... umm... big. You know what they say about men and their cars. Are you trying to indicate that Hinckley is compensating something?
