Damn. Those sets keep getting me more and more excited about building a tabletown. And those excellent reviews just add to it. Looking forward to seeing those new pieces in orange. Perfect for any Exo Force base-MOC

That was funny Even the copyrights were funny this time

I saw this in person the other day, but didn´t buy it. Although the set is cool, the cars´re great and the Minifigs okay, too... The price is just too high. It was 35 Euros for 2 cars and some figs. I would have bought it if it was 10 bucks cheaper, but I don´t like spending extra money just for the licence name and for minifigs that don´t match the ordinary yellow skinned tabletown inhabitant. Seriously: take away the minfigs and you´ve got random cars without any licence to bother. In such a case I would even buy multiples of the set, because the cars ARE cool.

We had both the Tournament set and a catapult in 2007, too. But I admit, the tournament was not a $10 but a $8 set. And in 2008, the dwarves catapult was sold for 9 instead of 10 Euros. So maybe they just swap things around, the chariot will be the $10 and the catapult a $8-$9 set?! But there definetly will be a catapult in that price region.

Castle Advent Calendar - traditionalists

Hey, that´s not that bad of a deal, is it? -
Dude! That´s an excellent MOC! I love the supermini UCS Star Destroyer. And the overall facade of the building is great, too! You should add a "Build your minifig" Container, too!

Laughing my megablocks off! How cool is that one?

From my point of view, we should at least be getting one more big set next year. We got the king´s castle and the evil sorcerers tower in 2007 Then came the dwarves mine and the troll battle ship in 2008 (which I count as a base of operations at the moment) I assume that next to the troll fortress of 2009 there will be another big set that marks the base of operations for one faction. And I´m not counting the Medieval Market Village, as that is "just" a S@H exclusive and not really a faction. On the other hand, if sales are doing well for the MMV, there might be more "civilian faction" sets in later 2009 or 2010. Now, to more speculations. 2007 we had a $10 catapult for the crownies 2008 we had a $10 catapult for the dwarves 2009 we will most likely get another $10 catapult. I don´t know for which faction yet

Castle Advent Calendar - traditionalists

Well... It´s not that those pieces are missing in EVERY calendar, so what´s the point of this list? There are always boxes with missing pieces. Always were and always will be. -
Name one!

Sleek and sporty with some very nice greebles. Cool!

Say, you don´t happen to have one of those white suits of President Weiss for trade, do you? I SO need that torso for a project I´m working on.

There´s only two words: General Motors!

Hahahaha Masoch is such a great character. Lot´s of potential for a series of his own

Believe me, I´m still working on it! But my baby-daughter keeps me busy most of the time, so my sparetime for MOCs and all things Lego is very limited. Currently I am working on a storyline that links the latest Wave of Exo-Force (Deep Jungle) with Project Sentai Mountain (PSM). I already have some new MOCs and minifigs in mind, but at the time they are not ready for the public yet.

Christmas is coming, and since my wife recently got into collecting Castle Fantasy, I prepared a nice selfmade advent calender for her, filled with lot´s of love and bricks Every day she get´s either some minifig parts and accessories, or something nice and little to build. For the 24th I was browsing through my parts and found some brown pieces. I fiddled around a little and voila: there was an Inn. Sadly I didn´t have our camera with me, so I had to rebuild it with MLCad. Here it is. Nothing special, but a nice little gift:

Well... Not on bare skin At least not for long. But you can already tell from the weight that chainmail must hurt on bare skin, when rubbing on the shoulders while walking or running...
