  1. Yeah, I hate the wheels, too. Still, they were the only ones I could use if I wanted the KITT hubcaps. I guess I´ll just skip the caps in the next version and rather go for proportionally correct wheels. And since you asked for it... Here´s the back of KITT:
  2. Soooo.... do we already have any further information? Mainly how much will it cost?
  3. I´ll mark this red in my calendar
  4. I suppose that´s the clapper board. However, it is really a HUGE clapper board. Didn´t LEGO have a real clapper board in the studio line? I´d just swap these.
  5. Hell! I feel honored someone is actually considering to buy my creations. I actually bought the Corvette from S@H, so I could give you the parts inventory to buy the parts from Bricklink shops. Might be cheaper, too. About KITT... Forget it. I wanted to have it with modular engine, but when looking at it now I think its a bunch of crap. I´ll redesign the car to look better without the modular engine and have a KARR alternate, too. Uh! I just checked why the Vette isn´t available and it seems that it´s because I named it "Corvette". It´s trademarked, so it cannot show up on the factory site. I might upload it again tonight with a different name if you want.

I´m gonna get myself the Market Street and Cafe Corner sets and a lot of parts from Bricklink to get my tabletown started. I´m very curious about what 16+ set TLG will publish this year, but I´ll add it to my collection anyway, I guess
  7. I´m puzzled. I know for a fact that I never ever had an idea book (although I always wanted one), but I had a blue space minifig with sticker. The most interesting part is that this sticker didn´t cover the whole torso as that white guy over there. It was a) just big enough for the space logo and b) had a clear background, not a blue one. Does anyone know anything about that fella?
  8. Excellent choice! I wonder why I forgot to mention MOTU in my list until now?
  9. I didn´t recognize it as the Tardis in chapter 2. But now that you mentioned it...
  10. You speak true words The problem is, that the lanes of the current roadplates are pretty narrow. Especially when I´m planning to use 6 stud wide cars and at least 8 stud wide trucks. That´s why I´m trying to find a solution for brickbuild roads that suits my needs perfectly.
  11. Okay, now a difficult one. I´m planning to have buildings on both sides of my streets and a sewer grill next to the pavement. Both sides should be mirrored. AND the whole street should be modular, so I can extend it as I like as my city grows. I came to think that having 1x10 bricks in dark bley and tilting them 90 degrees should do for the cheapest way to build a road and implementing sewers and so on. But I´m puzzled as to the modular system. Any ideas?
  12. That´s an amazing design! Great! I´ll borrow that for sure for my city layout. Thanks a lot for sharing the design!
  13. So... has anyone ever build a curve that´s looking good?
  14. Thanks a lot. That´s helping me out quite a bit already. So, how wide were those brickbuild roads in studs? And most important: How did you manage to get so many dark bley bricks without going bankrupt
  15. Care to share the file? I´d like to try my hands on that bus
  16. LDD has bigger wheels, hasn´t it? Just pick them
  17. I think the Y-Wing is cool! Now you finally can see how a Y-Wing looked back in the old days, when it still had a skin. Story tells the Rebels just hadn´t enough funds and the time to dismantle the hull for neccessary repairs. So they removed it almost completely. That´s why the Y-Wing we know from the movies looks so greebly.
  18. The Tardis, the Tardis!
  19. I am about to start building my first tabletown and have some questions for that matter. How do you all plan your layouts and how do you execute it? Are you just buying lots and lots of roadplates and put your buildings next to them? Or do you use brickbuild roads? How would you combine sets like Green Grocer, Cafe Corner and Market Street with roads? Both sets and roads offer studs for a pavement, but using both makes a far too big pavement, wouldn
  20. Excellent design and size of this bus! However, the wheels really seem too small for such a heavy beast. You should go for the next bigger ones.
  21. It´s the height. The roof would have to be the height of 2 plates higher to have a minifig and a steering wheel in place. You can fit a minifig right now, but you would have to remove the steering wheel and tilt the fig waaaay back. And the rearset would have to be the height of a brick higher @Joebot: Sad to hear that. The Probe I used to drive was one of the best cars I ever had. Bought it 7th hand, drove it for almost 2 years and ran about 100.000 km during that time.
  22. Damn. I checked and surprise surprise, a minifig CANNOT sit in there. I need to tweak it a little... If only TLG would offer windshields 6 studs wide, 3 studs long and TWO high.
  23. Yeah, that´s forbidden in Germany, too. But LDD sadly doesn´t offer wheels and tires half the size. When I´m ordering the pieces I´ll make sure to go for the slim tires. There´s room for two minifigs to sit in. .......at least I hope, I haven´t tried it yet A drivers seat and a backseat. I build all my cars basically the same way, so from experience the minifigs should fit. But now you got me thinking. The only thing that surprises me is what you said about the design. What seems strange about it? I tried to build it as close to the original as possible with LDD (and my skills, though). There have to be some amendments made when it comes to LDD. Here are some reference pics of the real car:
