  1. Soooo.... will you post a pic of the set with a minfig or not?
  2. Is there an overview of the new parts?
  3. Did anyone notice that the T&T forum has the wrong skin?
  4. Sounds interesting indeed. I´ll have to think about it. While we´re at it... I bought the City Harbor for you yesterday. As I said, it was the last one left, so the box is slightly warped. Not too bad, but I thought I´d mention it before. Oh, btw: Several things are on sale at the moment. Got the City Horse Trailer for 16 Euros, for example. Also on sale: Exo Force Storm Lasher for 13 Euros Anakins Starfighter and Vulture Droid for 25 Euros Creator Yellow Plane for 16 Euros Actually... I already have both. I was looking for sets on sale for parts.
  5. Great idea. I´ll definetly put our sigfigs in our bag.
  6. Why can´t sets like Cafe Corner or Green Grocer go on sale?
  7. Oh yeah, you´re talking my language there, VBBN! The bigger the tires, the better. Unfortunatly, there aren´t any larger tires available that would still fit the rim. If I go for the next larger tires, they won´t fit anymore... @Prateek: Thanks for the idea. I´ll definetly try that out, as I´m not too pleased with the front either. Now I just have to browse my bricks if I have enough black cheese slopes...
  8. Well, that´s too bad But thanks for letting me now.
  9. Thanks! I got a new BL order yesterday and was able to finally complete the trailer. I´ll post new pics of it soon. As for the Mustang... I don´t know the word "bulge". So sadly that sentence doesn´t make any sense to me I assume you are talking about the airscoop I put on the hood? I used this pic as a reference: (might be a little bit big...) As you can see, the hood is overlapping the lights in there, too. With the parts I had, this was as best as I could get it. I might try the hood again if I can get my hands on another of those pieces I used for the roof. However, I still haven´t found a way to extend that piece. For a hood it isn´t long enouh. Furthermore, the minifigs wouldn´t fit inside any more, thanks to TLG´s lack of sporty looking windscreens in appropriate heigts. BTW: Your pic isn´t showing up for me... Oh, and I updated the 1967 Mustang with a new hoodpiece and new air intake. Looking even better now. I´ll post pics soon!
  10. Thanks, Prateek. What do you think is off with the yellow Mustang? Well, except for the height... Youßre more than welcome to give suggestions how to improve the car(s).
  11. Bought the Cafe Corner for me and the Castle Tic Tac Toe for my wife
  12. Okay, I got me the motor. Now it´s time to MOC
  13. Oh, allright However... A DUPLO brick with engraved name would be a lovely gift for my daughter
  14. I have to speak for the ones I´m bringing with me here. They don´t really need the Extras as they like Lego, but not enough to be in need of nametags or rare bricks/minifig parts. My wife collects castle but isn´t a MOCer. My sister collects no Lego at all. And my daughter not even plays with Duplo yet
  15. This is truly a great design! I love it!
  16. Yep. As I said in the first place, it wasn´t on discount
  17. Holodoc, the Hogwarts is 5378 for 99,95 Euros. It´s still available at Kaufhof, but I have to admit, if you want it, I would need the money before. I can´t afford to spend so much money in advance.
  18. Soooo..... shall we focus on design and appearance or speed and strength? Meaning, will it be a "who created the best looking one" or "who created the fastest one" or anything else?
  19. Why not? From what it looks like, he´ll get the girl AND the Meteor Madness.
  20. Thanks a lot for all your comments! @Captain Zuloo: You´re right. I´m not too pleased with the SNOT inwards either. But I couldn´t think of any other way to build the wing doors. If you´ve got an idea, please feel free to share it! @Basiliscus: It wasn´t that difficult to build it 7wide, actually. My sister´s a huge DeLorean fan and she said that it MUST be 7 wide. So I didn´t argue with her and just did as I was told I can share the LDD file when I´m back home if you like. @CGH: You´re perfectly right. It should be lower, sleeker. Sadly that wasn´t possible with the parts I had. Those curved slopes should be lower. 2/3 brick height should already do the trick, but I think there is no such part. And to have a minifig sit in the car the roof has to be that high.
  21. Nice review, thanks! Could you maybe put some minifigs into the stores to show how good the set would work for minifig size?
  22. Hey, does anyone know of any kind of "official" alternate builds for the recent Castle sets? Or any Brickmaster/Lego Club Magazine instructions? I´d be interested to see if and what TLG has to offer for Castle. At least they did quite good on Exo Force
  23. V-LV-35B to V-LV-35E I wanted to share some photos I just took of my latest MOCs. Some of you might already have seen them in LDD form. Here´s a new Ford Mustang: Brickshelf Folder (when public) http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=375062 Here´s an old Ford Mustang Brickshelf: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=375063 Next, a 57 Chevrolet Corvette: 100% Custom Garage engine block compatible: Brickshelf: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=375065 And a DeLorean: And Brickshelf: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=375064 Oh, and a beefed up Custom Garage that now allows the mechanics to work on two cars. It even has some storage space for spareparts in the back, which cannot be seen too good on these photos, sadly. Thanks for watching!
  24. City Harbor for 45 Euros! Only one left! I´m tempted to buy the Harbor myself, but I already spent all my Lego money for the next two month (bought Market Street, Custom Garage and Cafe Corner all at once).
  25. I´d love to get myself some of the Ghostbusters props, but somehow spending $10 for a set of 4 makes me a little nervous.
