I've been busy with a model of a little truck. I've made some seperate 'parts' so I can easier modify it. Now I changed something, choose the truck to look how much space I had for the changes and I've got an weird error It says Error ....(filename and stuff) ... at Line 78 Does anyone knows what it's mean? If I say Yes by the question 'continue loading' I only see a few parts instead a few hunderd. And for some reason the part/file I changed before I couldn't open anymore. Well I can open it, but I do see nothing at all. So I hope someone know something about it because it looks like it's gone?

Great build Very 'weird' (in a good way ) I mean a build with trans clear bricks. Looks great. It gives a bit mysterious/spooky look. Maybe you can play with some color changing lights?

It's looks amazing I've seen your other loc, on Legoworld last year, and this one looks inpresive too. All those details are great, especially those 'bogies', and cabeling on the front/back.

You mean that 3d printing stuff? Don't know where you're from but where I came from (netherlands) there is a shop in Rotterdam were they sell 3d printers, but also they can print things you designed by yourself. You only need the design on a CD or something (in a particular format) and they can print it for you. I don't have the experience with them, yet, but I found them because I wanted to get some ideas printed. Maybe there is something in your country?

3D Printed Minifig Head... Creepy?
neonic replied to xboxtravis7992's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
To be honest ... it sucks Normally I'm not so 'purist' or whatever, but with Lego... for some reason I don't like that kind of stuff. It's fake and it doesn't 'fit' in the Lego 'style' at all. Maybe it's funny if they make a cartoon version of a character, like you see sometimes in episodes, for example the Simpsons. Sometimes famous people appears in the episode, and they have the same style. Think they should made those at least yellow, to 'fit' with the rest of the Lego figures. -
I always liked gothic (style) stuff. Great build, with a lot of nice details. I like the 'hanging' tower', and the interior is great. Nice color scheme too with that light blue And those shields and big axes on the wall are cool.

My condolences with your mother. Sorry to hear that. Can I ask you how old you are? Actually is doesn't matter at all imo, just curious. It's nice to hear that you sister said that about the Lego. Why should be worried about that ? There are plenty of people who has more dumb hobbies I'm building a little truck (more like a 'renovation') and sometimes I think maybe it's a bit childish. But on the other side ... who cares. And it's relaxing indeed.

[MOC] RV
neonic replied to Chapachuk's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Good plan Just saw the video, great. Now I've seen even some more details, like that little reading light in the front sleeping area You keep discovering things. I'm still wondering how you made the triangelair sink. Is it also lego or ... Only, maybe it's an idea to use a longer cable between the RV and the meterbox. Now the cable is hanging in the air. That's not so good for the connections (maybe it's because I've been an electrician) It's just a tiny thing but ... -
[MOC] RV
neonic replied to Chapachuk's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Just one word .... wow For a non-technical person, I think it's even more looks great. It's just amazing all those details like all those outlets and hatches at the side. Underneath, the exhaust and all that. And then the pics of the interior. It's just great to see all those things. Very detailed. I also like all that 'junk' in the RV, all the pots and pans, dishes in the sink, toys all of the kids ... looks like they are already on holiday I'm sure I can get some inspiration of it for my own moc. -
RC Maus Tank
neonic replied to Sariel's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
If you say so .... Think it's an impressive model, like the most of yours. You're not only handy with Lego, but your very handy with filming/edditing too. I see your hamster now have a little friend -
It's great nice details too with all those 'statues' and stuff, looks very cool First it looked a bit grey / gray ... the new coloring looks much much better indeed. Keep up the good work

Sounds familiar. I did that, when I was a kid too. Just open the box, rip all the bags open in empty them in the box or something like that. Get the instructions and ... having fun.

External Compressor
neonic replied to andrewganschow's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
How about a 'compressor' to blow up your tyres? It's a small thing and runs on 12volts. Or maybe an pump from a car's windowwasher? I know they use them often to feed their, mostly homemade, waterfalls and fountains. -
Really Nice scenery Thinks it's great, it's a small one but there is a lot too. I like that statue (reminds me such a gargoyle) and that guy with the snake. I also recognized those knights in the tower right away. Those are really from the 'prehistory' (I still have them too...)

Very cool moc. Looks great with the tower and all those 'scenes' like the dwarfs, the mermaids and everything. Guess it's a nice and cosy picknick they have there

[MOC] Temple of Shanara - Kingdom of Hybrasil
neonic replied to Fantu's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Looks very cool. I like the arches, especially those with the 'figures' in the corners and the the combination of the white colors (with the gold pieces) in combinations with the 'architecture' itself looks great too.- 22 replies

You still want a kind of fairytail castle, because you wanted to keep the towers? I've made that castle with MLcad, don't ask why. I also made some changes. Get rid of the pink and purple would be a good start. However, it's not that 'present' imo. Maybe you can make the main tower higher. And replace those sad looking flames with those ones (or add some more of it) (sorry for the big pic, I don't know yet how to get it smaller) And those bricks with the lionhead I always looks cool in castles, or wherever.

That's good to hear. It's not about a couple of bottles, that's why. Just I'm asking to be sure. No not all... besides, I can't, they are all empty

Looks very nice. Great colors too. Maybe an idea to put a round plate on the back with a hole in it, as exhaust? Those tiny slopes looks great too, like those spoilers these cars have. ps. other moc's looks great too, especially those trucks (homage to modelteam?) and those hot/rat rod, cool.
-
Great creation And very cool pic too, flying in that lanscape with those 'flares'. Nice done Can't you build this axle right through that cannon? Maybe mod it a little... I think it just looks great that cannon.

[MOC] Aquasharks "Spurdog" Fast Attack Submarine
neonic replied to Pimbo's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Don't know much about those themes but I did regonize it right away. Looks very cool. Must think of some kind a shark. It' looks pretty mean too :) And those fins are great. Next to the color scheme, all those weird parts, I also like is the modulair idea. When needed they just can put that small base to it. I always like this kind of weird creations (like those star wars) Nice to see and discover the use of a lot weird parts. -
Have you ever felt judged for liking LEGO?
neonic replied to Chilly_Productions's topic in Community
Funny to read this topic about people who do and don't care about what other people think. Well, I think I'm not really 'playing' with Lego. Depends how you see it. I'm sort of rebuilding a little truck wich stands on my shelf for about 10-15 years. Short story is ... my sister liked to get complete an ancient bathroom set. So I gave her some 'missing' parts of my truck. By the building, three technic figures appears so I thought ... maybe I can made some little adjudgements.... Well... some little became a few big ones. But you will see soon enough. So I started to renovate it, and ordered some parts. You can say I'm to old for it, on the other side .. it's pretty relaxed to create things. Someone talked about that people said Lego is for kids ... I wondering if those people went to Legoland? I quess all those stuff is made by grownups. Are they think they are childish too? Actually it's pretty funny. If people said they play with Lego, a lot of people thinks they are nuts. But somehow, I think no one thinks it's crazy when people go to the hobby shop to buy some stuff for their little trains, or go to some field to race with RC cars, or build scalemodels of trucks, boats or whatever. Well, I started a while ago and I just liked it. When it's finished I put it on the same shelf but till then ... I have fun with it. I must say that I don't have been judged about it. Not much people knows it (yet) but I still don't care what they think. I have watched, under dinnertime (my mum liked it) a program called 'man bijt hond'. (man bites dog) Think the Dutchies knows where I'm talking about .... if you see what crazy people they have found for their program...- 107 replies

To what extent it is allowed to show some brands of products ? (hope the translation is correct) I Like to show some pics of a few creations I made a while ago, but on the photo's are some empty bottles to see from some drinks. I don't know if that's a problem, or will they see it as 'advertising'?
