I don't think any contestant's entry for the fighter category had much in the way of storytelling. It's a single fighter with no context after all, so that's not something I'd hold against anyone. When looking at all the other fantastic builds in all the categories, it's pretty obvious to me that my building abilities are way too far behind most people on here to compete, so I'm gonna stop entering contests and just pop up with a build for "Mysteries" now and then. Might change my mind if there's ever a TIE variant contest, I've got a TIE Avenger on backlog that I'd call my best ever MOC with some certainty. Cheers and again congrats to the winners, I'm still blown away by your creativity and abilites!

[M4-22 - Brick Built Creature] – Beware the Rancor
Ephseb replied to Mandalorianknight's topic in Watto's Junkyard
deservedly high in the ranking, this is a great brick-built rendition of Dathomir's fiercest! -
did my K-Wing get any votes? It wasn't disqualified for technically having 3 seats, was it?
-
the brick built Boga and Rancor are my favorites congrats everyone!

[M4-22 - 12x12 Vignette] - Betrayal at Bespin Cloud City
Ephseb replied to Brickshipyard's topic in Watto's Junkyard
this is top notch, one of the best I've seen so far! -
thanks! It's not the most complex build in terms of technique but I'm still proud of it.

I can post my purist custom Wedge if you guys want. I have made 2 versions, one with the normal flight suit and one with casual clothing like he wore in the '90s Rogue Squadron comic series.

those are great! Praise Lord Gonkius! -
you could combine Kraven the Hunter's Torso, Jack Sparrow's face and whatever legs you see fit with a longer black hairpiece to create Talon Karrde, the smuggler kingpin (picture: http://myswrpg.com/talon-karrde/)

beautiful! great building techniques on the city bubbles!

[M4-22 - 12x12 Vignette] Jedi: Fallen Order.

this is very well built and creative, especially with the climbing walls, and the figures are also great! The vertical stacking of levels gives you a suitable solution to the limited 12x12 space. One of the best entries I've seen so far! -
awesome!

thanks for the high praise 🥺 I had to take it apart due to structural issues (I was afraid the plates would be damaged by the strain eventually) and I want to build a new smaller, more stable one some time in the future.

Just in time for the end of the contest - here is my entry, the former crown jewel of my MOC collection: The K-Wing! The photos sadly aren't as good as I'd like them to be, but I think everything should be recognizeable. [M4-22 - Purist Minfigures] - Legendary Figures (Old Republic Era)
Ephseb replied to Ephseb's topic in Watto's Junkyard
Wow, thanks for the information! I was sure I knew about every available color for the lightsaber blade piece. Will order some yellow ones! But I sure look stupid now with my claim that they don't exist 😅 -
thanks :) It's this minfigure's head (from Overwatch): https://brickset.com/minifigs/ow008

Mysteries Kick-Off Contest
Ephseb replied to MKJoshA's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
congrats @MstrOfPppts! Big oof for me: with so few people taking part in the contest, I actually thought I had somewhat of a chance. Here's to hoping that my K-Wing will impress at the May the 4th contest🤞 -
This looks great! If you want the SNOT arches to line up with the normal walls, you could try using piece #22885, it's one of my favourites

you did a great job replicating that concept car with Lego Technic! -
[M10 - DS] A Moff's HQ
Ephseb replied to Professor Thaum's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
Interesting and creative backstory! I think it's cool that you used preexisting Star Wars species that aren't well known. I assume the other Imperials - except for his previous companions - don't know he's not a human? -
[M10 - DS] A Moff's HQ
Ephseb replied to Professor Thaum's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
looks dope! One question though, why does your Moff have this red helmet? It reminds me of the Emperor's doubles / messenger droids from the 2017 Battlefront 2 campaign. -
