I'm about a 1/3 of the way through. It was nice to see a more in depth analysis than the usual "LEGO was highly successful and then their business model collapsed" narrative. He does a really good job of tracing why the company ran into trouble and extends it beyond an over-diversification problem.

These are generally a softer plastic (and the normal spears are pretty blunted) which is probably why they escaped the change. Not sure what the exact standard is but it's probably something to do with penetrative force.
