    Hi, im currently building the fj40 ute :D (its very common in my country) obviously im using a completly different chassis than you (with leaf springs) to keep to the original car, i could post a couple of images on this thread if you like, or shall i start my own thread for a WIP?.

    hi guys and gals, im currently designing and expermenting with a 4x4 chassis and im currently having issues with the chassis twisting under tourque , im aware that most newbies to lego will more than likely exerience the same problem.. and i was really starting this thread to discus some options for bracing chassis, ALL ideas are welcome :)

    Thanks everyone, the main thing that got me going with the 42029 was I personally prefer off road type cars/trucks, also has anyone done a C model dor 42029? or any 4x4 mods? Thanks, Dan

    quite simply in my honest opinion, lego is meant to be moddified and added to.. I personally already have a few mods I'd like to do with this set

    Uhm Hi guys, Im sort of an amature here on EB, how do I post more than two or so images ? and also should I start an WIP thread for this chassis ? now back to lego, I have some updates the axle is now a 4 link setup with panhard rod steering

    Hello, I have been doing some research on front drive axles, it occurs to me that most if not all dont axle diffs are offset from the center of the axle, as I'm currently in the prosess of building a half realistic 4x4 chassis this information was quite importaint to me, so knowing that I started experimenting, this was the resault has anyone used an idea like this before? please leave any suggestions, ideas or advice below Cheers, -Dan
