Brig. Brick replied to 1980-Something-Space-Guy's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
You are right! It seems to have a low lego-store features, aka monobrand store... nevertheless, It will be a Lego store. I only hope that they will have the "pick a brick" section thanks for the tip! I'll be there on november 15th!- 20 replies

New LEGO monobrand store
Brig. Brick replied to 1980-Something-Space-Guy's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
don't dare you to give me false hopes! I haven't read the facebook thing, but I doubt a Lego store in Costa Rica will open soon but if it opens, depends on two factors: the sales that the lego store in guatamala had achieved and the terms and and conditions of the contract that lego has with "La Univeral" ( )- 20 replies

If I understand well "el dÃa de los muertos" is an interesting way to see the death: as part of the life, but also have the chance to remember the ones that aren't with us anymore; every culture has the day or the way to remember the deaths, but the mexicans puts some particular joy, and make it as party, and also showing no fear about the death :pirate_skel1: feliz dÃa de los muertos! :pirate_skel1:

Official LEGOLAND Pirates - Stop Motion Video 1989
Brig. Brick replied to moschino's topic in LEGO Pirates
it a gem! oh the nostalgia! thanks for sharing! -
Glad you like it! I remember that when I took that picture, it was because on Star Wars´s forum, Clone O´Patra made "Single Pane Star Wars Funnies", And I thought that this post could be something similar we should make a topic with more rum ( ) and fun ( ), and let the landscaping and "close shots" to this one! hehe

for my, both work very well with pirates, in fact, from all the CMF´s, the number 8 is the most helpful for pirates and of course, for the armada lovers about the actor, the design of the minifig is one of the best I´ve seen on LEGO removing the IMO from the minifig and voila!: you have bourgeois now!... by the way! thalking obout that IMO... I´ve to upgrade my avatar! and that IMO is also useful to put some classy on the female minifigs, or recreate some historical character like Sir Francis Drake so, in my humble opinion, shakespearean minifig fits perfectly in pirates, and for the pirate lovers, is one minifig that you must have

its nice to see how the design of the SES and the Renegade Runner mix together, helped by the old skull and the colors of the sails (wonderful the sails) the ship looks like a "NAO" o "carrak". if only you could try rise a little the forecastle

Minifigures Series 8 Guessing Game
Brig. Brick replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
interesting post agreed! ........ let's guess, or at least, try: 1.) on series 7, we had the chance to meet the swimmer girl, the important is the golden medal on her neck... this reminds me the gold, silver and cooper "micro"figs (karate, sumo and football player)... so, on the 8th series we most see a new sport that brings medals, so, my bid here is for the athlete, a runner or gymnast 2.) on series 7 we had a bride... groom it is!, with a couple of silver rings, the same mold from LOTR 3.) as others said already, the new snake tail is very useful to make the beloved medusa 4.) is the turn to the musician, and, to add cultural diversity, an old classic Jazz player (yes, with a real sax, instead of the past christmas set) 5.) I like the idea of the canadian mounted police, because like the liberty lady and the royal guard, its a symbol 6.) mixing my minifigs, I found that, the new roman shield (but translucent) and the space marine helmet, could me mixed, on riot police officer 7.) everyone that said pirate, agree with that, new face, new shirt, new cutlass, new hat (instead of the classic bicorn)... and the most important, yellow flesh; he could work as first warrior of the set 8.) a deeper diver, just like the one that you put on your fish tank if you had one (p.s. the same color of the gladiator) (soon or later, I'm really sure that TLG will make those, but the next ones, I'm not sure) 9.) a caveman... but wait, we had one!.... NO this is the bad one, the evil one (like the evil dwarf) 10.) this one, you'll wanna love it!... Miss Lego-verse, with a tiara and a ribbon that tell us that she is the prettiest 11.) Heavy metal fan, with black guitar, black long and messy hair, black skull on black shirt.... wait a minute...no, that doesn't work! 12.) the lady clown... it's been awhile since the circus had another minifig 13.) the second warrior of the set... mmm not sure, the mongol ist a good idea, but aldo a cossack 14.) I have doubts about the chance to see another jockey on a minifig collection since the new mold of the jockey helmet in the britain olympic team is so close. maybe not on the 8th series, but later 15.) the bear disguesed man, I know, disguise only apear on odd numbers... since when this is a law? 16.) the last one, I let this open -
like everyone can see, this is a very unique ship, a heavy weight catamaran style, seems to be very quickly. poor achu, he doesn't even had a chance!

Bravo! great moc, full of action! you should acquire one or two sumo wrestlers, they could be very useful with your new topic (obviously with pants!) its really nice to see an small army of old lego ninjas
-
yo dawg! I know you like crossovers!, so Oky put a crossover into a crossover of a crossover, so you can cross marvel with DC, crossing into Star Wars universe, to crossing it on LEGO! I love every time Oky make one of his fusions, I'll glad to see the chance the mixing of DC and Marvel!
-
may be not yet, but it's a matter of time when TLG brings a second (and hopefully a third) wave, the characters will become into a new clone army like Oky said:

Jabba the Hut approves the punishment! -
and you made it, well done, nice MOC, more bluecoat muscle
-
at first attempt trying to pull out any weapon... you will be swimming with the fish lucky for you, Hiawatha can show you the way! 9 it is! there it is, on the entrance of the second floor, the "smiling" Jack, with a bright lantern and a loaded pistol, waiting for some fool try to do the same as Warspite03... then, waiting behind the door: Liu the "mad dog", in any remote case that something happend to a "smiling" Jack but well, you know the number of the pearls on the wench, so, you can talk with a thinly disguised Roger but He is there, to solve some problems, like if you are a bluecoat and need some redcoat rum, or you are a redcoat and you enjoy some fine bluecoat cigars, or need some native spices but you are an Armada guy... or simply you need avoid the Customs Service of the diferents kingdoms
